Description of Work: I don't remember the exact date I used Tri-County Pest Control or what I paid, but the young man that provided the service (we were reading our home to be prepared for sale) was very professional and explained the services he was providing. Unfortunately, I've packed the paperwork and it's somewhere in storage...

Description of Work: Removed large wasp nest from tree in front yard. Arrived on time, handled issue quickly and effectively.

Description of Work: The owner came out to provide an estimate to help us respond to a home inspection on a property we were selling. He said in order to provide the work the inspector suggested was needed would be $1,500, but told me that the work was unnecessary and that I should go back to the realtor and have that paperwork amended. Had I not spoken to him or had he not been so honest, I would have spent the $1,500. Nice to know there are honest people still out there. He's definitely earned my business in the future.

Description of Work: We had a very large hornets nest in a bush that needed to be removed.

Description of Work: They treated household insects, especially small black ants, mice, wasps, bees and stink bugs. Also, they check for termites. We have a yearly contract.

Description of Work: The company sent a representative to the house. He checked for bugs (roaches etc) and mice in all three floors of the house. He set traps and used a low impact spray because he knew we have a toddler in the house. He also left bait boxes for mice in areas our toddler could not access. He did not spray in family areas of the house for our safety, which I appreciated. He also left more sticky traps so we could replace them as needed until he came back for a follow-up appointment.

Description of Work: We called regarding what turned out to be bed bugs. Fortunately for us, it was caught early enough not to be considered a major infestation. They gave us great instructions on how to prepare for each of two treatments. While it was a great deal of work, it was worthwhile to follow the instructions to a T. What they did not tell us was to bag the kitchen. In hind site it would have saved on the post-application cleanup. Let's face it, even though the kitchen is not a spray target, the pesticides get everywhere. If the pots,pans, plates and utensils were bagged before spraying, there would have been much less to clean up. Despite the kitchen preparation faux pas, it was quite clear why the expense of treatment SEEMED high. There was a ton of things for them to do to treat this issue properly, and the technicians were quite thorough pulling everything out to get under and behind all the furniture and bedding. The price was not a deal, but the price was fair after seeing what was involved. We had two treatments aimed at eliminating these pests and each was very thorough and complete. My only issue with the service was the amount of scratches and dirt (from gloves or hand) to my walls when spaying behind paintings and photos. Fortunately, paint is cheap and can be touched up to resolve the marks. The dirt was also in the treated bedding. While we were trying to avoid tossing all the bedding, we ultimately decided not to keep anything as it was just too creepy to us to do otherwise. But the ground in dirt made that decision that much easier.

Description of Work: A company representative came to our home and treated both the inside and outside of the home for a sugar ant infestation. The treatment included an inspection of the home (including the basement) and a combined application of spray, gel ant bait and ant traps. Our problem with these ants was concentrated around the kitchen window and nearby cabinets. For the first few days after the treatment we saw a few dead ants and have not had any ants since then.

Description of Work: This visit was the first time they had done work for me. They visually inspected my entire house inside and out for evidence of insect/pest infestation. They sprayed the entire house inside and out. They set 3 baitboxes in the basement, 1 in the attic and 4 outside the house. They put glueboards in the basement and in the attic.

Description of Work: Explained we were having an insect problem and a mice problem. Tri-county came in, reviewed the affected areas and immediately started placing traps etc. He explained what types of bugs they were, where they were living and how to identify problem areas for ourselves. He did the same for the mice. He explained how the different traps and poisons worked, why he preferred them over others. He also was sensitive to the fact that we have a newborn in the house and opted for more visits rather than one heavy poison lay down.

Description of Work: I've had a yellow jacket nest all summer under the shutter outside the bathroom window & never got around to calling an exterminator until it turned cold and we started finding up to five dead or dying bees a day in our bathroom. Tri-county arrived, assessed, set off a fog insecticide bomb in attic, sprayed nests under both shutters on either side of bathroom window. He must have picked up and disposed of dead bees on the outside and below attic door, because there were no dead bodies to be found until later, after he had gone.

In addition to the usual $ 75.00 pest treatment, this treatment included carpenter bees and inspection for termites. Neighbor recently reported termites on his property so we called Tri - County to request that a termite inspection be added to our quarterly service this time.
