H&B Driveway Resealing LLC

They put me on the schedule, but it had to be pushed back due to weather. They called me yesterday, and said the temperatures should be warm enough for the rest of the week, so they have been able to get me in before the spring. I have really appreciated that they were so conscientious and willing to get the work done before the spring.

Prompt phone response, showed up when scheduled, did a good tidy job, were friendly. Driveway looks great so far!

They did it all by hand and they did exactly what they said they would do. It looks really nice and they did a phenomenal job. Before I even hired him to do the work, he moved a big air conditioning unit off my drive way. Henry was worried it was damaging the driveway so he moved it to the street and someone later picked it up. I thought that was great.

Resealing went perfectly. I scheduled the resealing for a week we would be away on vacation. The resealing was scheduled for Monday 6/17/13 but the weather was poor. H&B called that day and said it would be done likely on Wednesday when the forecast improved. I received a call Wednesday 6/19/13 that H&B was at the house ready to proceed. When I returned home on Friday 6/21/13, the driveway looked terrific! H&B was a pleasure to work with, from the time of contact, a prompt quote, and the resealing done as scheduled.

It was wonderful. The estimator was friendly, courteous, and detailed when explaining what they needed to do. All I had to do was call to schedule and on the day, I came home to a new driveway! My neighbor was pleased as well. It has only been a few days, but I have already had passers by ask me who did our driveway and i happily refer them to H&B.

Prompt, polite, reasonable price. Looked good for about 6 months and has been pealing off extensively in less than a year. My prior coating lasted over 4 years to look this bad.

The contractor came out promptly to give a bid. We agreed on a price and scheduled the work to be completed within two weeks. Within two weeks, the contractor arrived, cleaned and edged the driveway, patched all of the cracks with hot tar. then came back and sealed the driveway. since we had two sections to do, they came back a third time to do the small section so we would have aplace to park. Very professional and accomodating.

Henry is a pleasure to work with. I had intentions of getting several estimates but realized after talking to other people and to him personally, that he was the one I wanted to do the driveway. The estimate he gave me of $200 was less than I had paid for a bad job that was done 3 years ago on my driveway. He also states right on his estimate that he will beat other estimates if his is higher. I saw no reason to seek other estimates. His wife, Diane, is the office manager and called promptly to arrange the day. We had to hold off a couple times because of rain issues and Diane was on the phone cancelling and re-scheduling on a regular basis. Henry's work is neat and efficient. I particularly like giving work to local businessmen rather than large, impersonal conglomerates.My neighbor ended up having her driveway done as well and I have recommended Henry to several others. You will not be disappointed.

Scheduling was a little tough because of rain, but after about the 3rd date, we got it on a sunny day. They were pleasant, professional and fast. 2 days later, they removed the ribbon and their sign and said it was good to go and said I could mail them the check. I was pleased with the work and very pleased with the price. Their price was significantly lower than other estimates ($900, $600, etc.) and I will use them the next time I reseal my driveway.

H and B were prompt and courteous. After the work was performed, we noticed blemishes in the finish--something in our driveway? something in their materials? We couldn't tell. Regardless, H and B stood by their work and came back applied a second, fresh coat at no extra charge promptly. We'd use them again.

H&B was one of two vendors I asked to estimate the cost of seal coating my driveway. H&B does only seal-coating, it does not do repaving. Henry, owner of H&B, visited the property the day after i called and left an estimate for seal-coating. However, he noted that seal-coating was not a real "fix" and that this driveway probably should be repaved. Remember, he does not do repaving. I agree with his assessment but we were not prepared for a much more expensive project at this time, so we decided to seal-coat for one more year and repave next summer. H&B's price for seal-coating was considerably under that of the other company that responded. The project had to be rescheduled because of Hurricane Irene, and someone from H&B called to change the date, then again to confirm the work date. The three men were prompt, polite, worked quickly, and, even though it's not a "fix" for this driveway, the results look good -- a good as I expected for a seal-coat operation. I definitely would recommend H&B for seal-coating, and I would use them again.

They were punctual and very professional. They stretched themselves to get the job done. Even with cold weather approaching they fitted me in to their schedule, and I appreciated that.

I left a message on the answering machine and my call was returned promptly. A man was sent to my property and it was measured. An estimate was sent timely and I scheduled the job. The small cracks were filled by the company prior to sealing the driveway.The driveway looks beautiful and I was extremely pleased with the work performed.

Mr. Bond carefully watched the 5 day weather forecasts before he would commit to a date. It was hard to get 2-3 clear days in a row in October. When the break in the rain finally came, Mr. Bond and crew arrived to do the work at the scheduled time. They worked quickly and efficiently. Prices were very competitive. I do not hesitate to recommend Mr. Bond and his crew.
