I had Maid On The Spot do a one time cleaning of my rental property after the tenants moved out and left it a mess. I was extremely pleased with the service and the price. The place looked and smelled a whole lot better after the cleaning.

We have been using Maid on the Spot for several months now, every other week, and couldn't be happier with their service. When we first met Shannon we knew that her company really cared for its clients and ensuring complete satisfaction. She explained all the services they use and then quoted us based on the rooms we wanted cleaned. The first visit was based on an hourly charge as they do a deep clean and utilized two cleaners. Subsequent visits are at the quoted price. Every Wednesday, a cleaner (usually Amy, but they do sometimes send others based on availability - which really isn't a problem) arrives at our house with all of her cleaning supplies, and gets to work. Several hours later, our house is completely spotless, which is no small feet seeing as we have 3 large, dirty dogs. They really pay attention to small details, too. We've come home to find things like the coffee maker completely cleaned and set out to dry, dishes that we had set in the sink as we're running out the door washed and put away, and clothes on top of our dressers folded. Using Maid on the Spot has saved us so much time, and I'm so happy we found them.

Every company SHOULD provide excellent service, but the mark of an excellent company is when DISASTER strikes. Our music education services, (infant / toddler classes, private lessons, special needs students) recently expanded its office operations to a converted house in Beaver County and needed a thoroughly deep, top-to-bottom cleaning that required nearly 40 person-hours to complete. As the owner of a small business, I more than appreciate seeing other people “busting their tails” as much I do and holding to the promise of doing things right. Just as we consider all of our music student clients from infant to adult to be part of our “family”, the owner Jason demonstrated an exemplary B2B (business to business) respect towards me. I was considered “part of the team” as we collectively decided the best approach to make each part of our office space (including an area for rescued animals) presentable. He and his business partner Shannon did substantially underestimate the time and cost for the total job, but I knew what it would take and was in for the long haul. The walls, ceilings, hardwood floors, large picture windows (inside and out) and niches were swept, washed and sanitized. It looked and smelled wonderful! The animals were worked around and I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. We were getting ready to finalize the bill, I was out just about to walk out the door to supervise a local Music Together family class, and they were 95% complete when IT HAPPENED. His girls accidently dropped a box of supplies used in the renovation and a nearly 1/4” coating of white powder (rather like drywall dust) spread in an exploding cloud throughout the multi-room office space, facilitated by the blowing fans. Everywhere, everything all of the freshly washed ceilings, walls, and floors were coated. Can you say “I could just cry”! When you run business, there is never room for a crisis –only an opportunity to fix and do things right which Jason promptly did. There was no blame placed, no reproachful comments, no angry words. Maid on the Spot even financially absorbed part of the responsibility for the extra time to “clean up the mess”. By the time I returned to the office late that night, it looked as if nothing had ever happened. Great job “Maid on the Spot”! I am already planning to contract with them for a regular maintenance cleaning on the main office and to clean another office space I own and quot;in the burghand quot;. Happy ending…. It went excellent. The cleaners let themselves in and worked off a list I had provided. When I came in the middle of the day, they were hard at work and the house smelled fabulous. Misty spent a good deal of time on our master bath shower and it looks great. Thanks to Shannon and her team!

When I first contacted them they came for a deep down cleaning. baseboards, walls etc. since then they have come every other week for maintenance. Arlene is the best, she spots things that need a wipe. Love her.

I like the flexibility of their pricing and also the service itself. They did a good job. I think they are a good company.

I last used them a week ago on Monday. They did cleaning for me. They are excellent. They are very easy to deal with. If I find something that is not to my liking, they will come back and take care of the problem. They are good people. One other thing that I really like about them is that they send the same person every time they come. I used to use another cleaning service and it was somebody new every time, and I do not like that.

I recently moved back to Pittsburgh from Michigan. I needed some one to help me keep my place clean as I work a great many hours. It is such a pleasure to come home to my apartment when it is clean. I am especially picky about my bathroom and Maid on the Spot does a really fantastic job. There was one time, where they brought in someone other than Bev to clean my apartment. I am not sure what happened, but apparently that person was not as familiar with how I like things done as Bev from Maid on the Spot was. When I call the company to explain what was missed - Shannon was extremely responsive to my needs and fixed the problem right away. I truly like the relationship that I have developed with Shannon and Maid on the Spot, I would recommend their company in the future.

I received a flier in my box a little over a month ago and after reviewing the website, I gave them a call. The owners, Jason and Shannon, are awesome to work with and they made arrangements to come out for an estimate at a time convenient for MY schedule. I liked what I saw: (1) they are professional, but also down to earth people who understand that I want cleaning services without drama, (2) they handle insurance, workman's comp, and all that for their employees so it's truly risk free to me the homeowner to hire them, (3) they give me a 30-60 minute window for arrival when they schedule the appointment so no more me (a stay at home mom with two small children!) having blocking the whole day out for a couple hours of cleaningI Combine all that with the fact that they are truly willing/able to customize to the customer's needs made it a no brainer to hire them! The first housekeeper they sent did a decent job the first week, but I wasn't thrilled with the second week she was here so I called and requested a change. NO PROBLEM and no hassle. They sent someone different the third and fourth weeks and I'm happy to brag on them to my Angie's List buddies. (Now that I have them safely booked for my housecleaning needs that is... wink, wink) I have been trying to find a housekeeping service I like since I moved here over a year ago, and I feel like I've hit pay dirt.
