Description of Work: Kurt brought his mobile capability to my house and fully restored an ailing lawn tractor to full operation. He alerted me to an engine problem, a small oil leak, and fixed it for a nominal amount. He has my highest recommendation for timeliness and professional service. He also looked at a line trimmer without charging me , but advised that repairs would cost more than equipment was worth. I was entirely pleased with the experience, and will use him again..

+ -1 moreOn-Site Tune Up is my overall favorite vendor that I've found on Angie's List. He is punctual, thorough and reasonably priced. He works on virtually any make/model of lawn mower. We used our neighbor's lawn mower for part of the 2011 mowing season for some reason or another, so we wanted to "repay" them by having their mower tuned up, too. On-Site Tune Up did both mowers, replaced numerous parts on both including the spark plugs, a blade on one of them and the fuel tank on another in less than two hours and for only about $120. Scheduling is easy, and if you call during his busy season (March/April) expect that you might need to wait to get him to you. We have used him twice and will call him every year.
Description of Work: On-Site Tune Up did a spring preparation for our lawn mower and our neighbor's lawn mower. He cleaned both mowers, checked all the mechanical parts including the blades and replaced any parts that needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreWe called the company on a Tuesday or Wednesday. He said he would come to the house on Saturday or Sunday. He called on Sunday and arrived in about 10 minutes. He brings his repair shop to your home in a large trailer. He had the snow blower working in about 30 minutes. This is a great service. We would not have been able to load the blower into a car to get to a repair shop.
Description of Work: A snow blower that had not been started for about 2 years was not working. The service provider came to my mom's house, cleaned the blower, drained the old gas and got it going.

+ -1 moreWe called Kurt on a Saturday to inquire about fixing our Toro lawn mower's self propel feature. He asked the appropriate questions concerning model number and other lawn mower features. He said he would check to see if he had the right part for repair and would get back to us Sunday or Monday. Kurt called on Sunday,and arrived at our home within 30 minutes. He has all the tools and parts he needs in a large trailer that he brings to your home. Our lawn mower was fixed in 20 minutes. We had the same problem several years earlier and had to leave our mower at a repair facility for over 2 weeks. The at-home service that Kurt provides is certainly worth it. We would definitely call Kurt again for any lawn mower or tool repairs.
