Mr. David Giles is excellent! He knew exactly what was wrong with our door and provided the most cost effective solution while also making sure that all other parts of the door were functioning properly. He did not try to sell me more than what was needed and also took the extra steps to insure that the door was tuned up and functioning well. He is a pro...do not hesitate to call him !!

This was a fantastic service. I called on Tuesday letting them know I was having an issue with my garage door and that it was stuck open. First he tried to troubleshoot over the phone, no charge. I tested out his suggestions and they didn't work, so he came out the next day. They were able to diagnose the issue in a matter of minutes, had the part on hand, lubed up all the parts that were a bit rusty, and let me know how to care for the door going forward since our garage is in a humid spot. I would absolutely recommend them. They were quick, reasonably priced, and tried to help me out without making a house call. You can't ask for much more.

His quote was in line with other service providers and he was very responsive in providing a quote. He showed up on time. They gave us a call before they headed over. They got to work right away. An hour later the job was done. He explained how the new opener worked and showed us all the new features. It turns out his Dad was the one that installed the previous garage door opener.

The work was performed as expected. Everyone we have come in contact with in the company is top notch. We look forward to being able to work with them again.

David and Joyce are a pleasure to work with. David was prompt, courteous, professional, informative, understood our needs, made sound recommendations for resolution and did a great job in completing the work. Joyce is great to work with on the phone.

He made some service. What he did last time, I only give a short in $20.

They were outstanding and very reliable! They were professional, helpful, solved the problem very quickly and even gave me some preventative advice and tips. There was no extra charge for saturday service. I will not go with anybody else!

Dave responded within a few hours of my call. Very friendly and professional. Replaced broken cable and changed the other cable which wsd showing wear. Inspected both garage doors at my request and lubricated all moving parts on both doors. He also replaced wiring to the safety trip mechanism.he tightened and lubricated moving parts on both doors. Doors are operating very well now. Definitely would recommend.

Our garage door springs broke right before Christmas. We called David on referral from a friend on Thursday 12/26. He was out the next day. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He not only replaced the broken springs but he replaced a couple of burnt out light bulbs and checked over the door to make sure everything else was ok. He even showed me some features I wasn't aware of with our keypad. He also gave me an extra opener! I made sure we got his sticker on the garage door for future reference.

They were knowledgeable and prompt - only complaint is price. If I could give an A- or B+ I would do that instead of the B. I had them come out for a general service after I purchased a new house. While they were there I asked about new remote openers since the previous owner did not leave them behind and David had a couple on his truck which he provided.

The Monday before Thanksgiving, cold, with snow expected, and our garage door would not close. I called David Giel at noon, and he was here by 3 p.m. We were lucky because our home is near his business, and Mr. Geil finished a job early. He was able to stop on the way back to the office. He fixed the door for a reasonable price, We have called him before, and we will continue to use his services.

Called for an estimate. They came out and took a look at the door, found a matching panel to order and installed the panel. Process took about 2 weeks from estimate to installation. The majority of the time was waiting for the door panel to arrive from the manufacture. Installation took about 30 minutes. Installers were professional and courteous.

Dave was on time when he arrived for the estimate and crew was prompt and efficient on the day of installation. The price was extremely reasonable -$2300- for all the parts and labor. We are very pleased with the work and service.

David came out and gave me an estimate on the work. He was running a little late and called in advance to let me know which was thoughtful. He did not try over sell by pushing me towards more expensive doors with greater R factors. Also, he didn't push to change out the openers since they were newer than the doors and working well. I called back a few days later and gave them the go ahead. They ordered the doors and gave me an approximate date. They called a few weeks later to schedule the install but I had to push them out another week because I was going to be away the week they wanted to come. On installation day the the crew arrived on time. Shortly after arrival they discovered that the new man door opened in the opposite direction of the old one. They asked if I wanted to be the same as the old door. I told them yes. They made a few calls and sent one of the crew off to get the correct door while the rest stayed behind to work on the garage door replacement. They did a great job on installing the doors. They even did a little touch up painting around the side because some paint had been pulled away when the trim was being replaced. They left the garage and driveway cleaner when they were done than when they started.

The service went very well. I ended up in the emergency room as I got very sick that day. I called them and let them know the situation and I let them know they could go into my home and do the work. He left the bill after the service and they were very accomodating with the scheduling, and that was very much appreciated.

David has repaired our garage door on two different occasions and each time we've been extremely satisfied with the ease of making the appointment, prompt arrival, and a job done well. We highly recommend David Giel Garage Doors!

He was very efficient. He asked alot of questions over the phone. We were very satisfied with everything. He was very professional.

I've had 3 encounters and each one has brought me back to them again. I first contacted regarding problem with my garage door sensor, and they actually provided me enough assistance via phone that i was able to address it on my own. I then had an issue with the door reopening after shutting. David came the day that I called and quickly identified and fixed the issue, which was caused by a historical bad install by someone else. His price was reasonable. I then bought a new house and wanted an estimate to replace one of the garage door openers. There was a slight mix-up in communication where I didn't get confirmation that he was coming on the requested day, although when I called to check in, I was in fact on the schedule. 2 other guys came, gave me an estimate and were able to start the work on the spot. They did a great job, asked questions instead of making assumptions on things like the location of the keypad, etc. They cleaned up well and were pleasant to interact with.

David agreed to come out and give me an estimate, even though I was a bit beyond the distance he would usually travel for a job. I told them I was impressed with his reviews on Angie's List. He showed up at my house exactly when he said he would, gave me a fair and detailed estimate with no pressure to decide if or when I wanted him to do the job. He was friendly, professional and answered all my questions. Once I decided to use their services for my install, they immediately ordered the garage doors and promptly called me to schedule the work as soon as they received notification that the doors had been shipped. The crew arrived on time the day of the install. I couldn't be there during the day, but they completed the job while I was at work and I came home to find my brand new garage doors installed perfectly with absolutely no mess left behind. I would definitely use David Giel and his crew again and highly recommend them.

When David came to do the estimate, I was not there, but my wife was. I got in touch with him later and he was very helpful and answered the questions I had. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was not there for the installation, but his crew was punctual and very polite. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up the area very nicely. We were very happy with the work.

I am very happy with David Giel and his employees. I have a 2-car integral garage and a detached garage. I had the doors replaced on my integral garage a few years ago by his cousin (who has his own business) and it was a nightmare! His cousin is very rude and has a violent temper. But David is totally different: he is very easy to work with and very professional. I had gotten 2 other estimates and David's was by far the best estimate: price-wise AND he included some other work for me at a very low price which the other 2 estimates I received didn't even include the extras. It was a fairly complex installation because I wanted to add a garage door opener but there was no room for it. The 2 workers Dave sent figured out a way to do it by dropping the height of the door and offsetting the opener to a place where they could mount it. It works great! They used an old opener that I had repaired myself; it had been laying around for years collecting dust and I was so appreciative that he agreed to install it instead of forcing me to buy a new one. It is so quiet compared to the new ones I had installed by his cousin. All in all, I am very happy with David Giel and wouldn't hesitate using them again in the future. I highly recommend this company!

Dave was punctual with his estimate and service. We had difficulty within the first year with the doors and he came and explained the problem (the sensors that we had accidentally moved). While he was installing our doors, a neighbor came and asked him to look at his garage door that was not working right. My neighbor's door needed a spring....Dave installed the spring and charged my neighbor NOTHING. I call that wonderful service! I have recommended him to at least 2 other people and both have loved him too. Reasonable, punctual, and trustworthy!

David's office staff was very responsive and courteous. Dave called me back the next day and came out at the time he stated he would be here. He went right to the problem (a torn belt) and replaced the belt and gave me a track that was solid steel as opposed to the one I had that was hollow and not very sturdy. He finished in a half hour and charged me a fair price. David was very personable and professional. I would have him back again if need be!

He's very quick and efficient. Knows his business well and is very personable. Never looks to upsell or charge unnecessarily. Very fair. Quite simply, one of the best service people I've ever come across.
