Fast, courteous, quality service - fairly priced. Tested old water heater, gave me options for repair or installation of new heater. There was no effort to run up fees for extra parts, nor run time to increase the cost. I had selected a heater before they came and it was put on the truck in case I decided to have them install it, saving me the labor cost of them going back to the shop. As he brought the heater into the house the plumber noticed a picture of our son in military uniform. When he asked if our son was on active duty we told him "yes." He then told us that they have a 10% discount on equipment for military families and gave us the discount. The heater has been in for a couple of weeks now and runs just fine. What's not to like about this company?

The Shuler plumber showed up promptly and on short notice. I called and they said they could be over in 1/2 hour. Both the dispatch operator and Brian, the plumber were very professional and polite. Unfortunately, the street shut-off key that Brian had would not work without hitting my mailbox, so we had to call the water company to come over and shut off the street valve. The water company was also polite and responded pretty quick, but that entire episode with the key consumed about 30-40 minutes, and when you pay by the hour ($110) that delay was costly. In retrospect, if I would have insisted the plumber wait for the water company to be onsite, i would have saved the extra hours labor, but they thought they could shut the water off without issue. Also, I would have waited 2 days to get an appointment with water co. Anyway, the rest of the job was uneventful, Brian cut the old valve out, soldered in a new ball valve ($25), and tested for leaks. No problem. So I would definitely use them again, Schuler Service seems to be a very responsive and trustworthy outfit. Just make sure you optimize the hours they spend with you!

They were very good and did quality work. They got here the next day after we called them. They are efficient and thorough. I would use them again.

We have not used them yet. They phoned us a estimate, but we never received the written estimate we asked for. If we don't have it done by the other's recommendations we may go back to them.

They were great. The guy that came in was caring and polite. He came in, did the job, and cleaned up after himself. There were no surprise costs or anything like that. They quoted it, they did exactly what they said they were going to do and we haven't had any problems since.

It was an emergency service so they came out right away. They were here for about an hour and got the job done. The quality of their work was very good and I remember thinking their price was low considering it was an emergency service.

Very well - done quickly & professionally

They did a really nice job. Well, we needed the toilet put in but it was difficult than normal because it was in the basement. When they began, they found that some of the concrete weren't stable and they did that. And, the extra cost was very small.

The price was a little high but the work was performed very professionally, and they finished on schedule (even with the problem discribed below). There was one problem, the wrong floor tile was installed. My wife questioned it but did not correct the problem. I was out of town and when I returned the following day, I showed the installer the sample we had purchased to ensure we got the correct tile. The tile that was initially installed was from the same manufacturer and was the same color, but the finish was totally different. Since it was already installed, I was offered a very reasonable discount to accept this tile. However, my wife hated it. When I told the installer, he said OK and immediately started removing the tile he had just installed. There were no additional charges and the installer made sure he had the correct tile before he began the reinstallation.

My issue with them is that every service call Ive had required the plumber to drive back to the office for basic parts, while the $ clock kept running. This has happend every time I use them. Otherwise quality is good. My impression is that they do not stock basics on their trucks.

Everything turned out well. He is probably one of the most knowledgeable plumbers I've worked with.

Prompt service, great work. Final price was a bit higher than expected (+$100) even though I assisted with bringing the new unit in and removing the old unit. I even ran to HD for a part. Tech was very professional and helpful. Great communication, no surprises. One of the best services I have experienced.

I walked into my house and discovered my hardwood floor covered in water! I turned off the water to the house and called Schuler Plumbing. They were extremely supportive and sent a technician out immediately! Drew promptly traced the leak to a crack in a pipe behind drywall and discovered additional water in a cabinet. He expediently replaced the pipe. He was friendly, professional and explained the flow of water and why flooding occurred where it did.

Serviceman John was prompt and very professional. He explained everything he was doing was was very friendly. I will only use Schuler Services in the future.

John arrived on time. He was very professional. He explained what he was doing, especially when additional equpment/work was needed to complete the jobs.

I had originally called because of a leaky toilet tank. Brian, one of the technicians, worked very hard to repair the leaks changing neccesary hardware and seals. I paid for the service immediately after completion using a credit card over the phone. The next day, I checked for leaks and found that the toilet tank was still leaking. I communicated the problem with another tech, Gary. After re-examining the problem, he told me that the toilet needed replacing and gave me the cost of a new toilet. After some thought and discussion with my wife, we decided that we would buy our own toilet if they would agree to install it without any extra labor costs (since we had already spent almost three hundred dollars on this problem). After a day, he responded that they would install the toilet that I bought without charging any extra labor but couyld not guarentee the toilet itself. I was expecting to end up having to finish the job myself so I was very happy that they had agreed to our request. Overall I feel that the business conducted between myself and Schuler Service, Inc. went very smoothly and I am a very satisfied customer. Thanks a whole bunch to Schuler Service, Inc. and look forward to doing business together in the future.

They did a nice job and we were able to use a warranty from the faucet to get a replacement at no additional cost. We basically just paid for their labor and materials. We were pretty pleased with how they handled it. Their price was fairly average. Some people might think they are pricey but I think they were average. They usually get here when they say they’ll be here.

When our old garbage disposal unit died, I decided to go to the hardware store and buy a replacement. Once at the store, my impulses got the better of me, and instead of buying a replacement, I bought a much bigger, quieter, nicer unit with a longer warranty. Of course, when I got home, I realized it was not going to fit with the existing plumbing like the old one did. I called Schuler and made an appointment for them to come out and install it. They guy was on time, and had everything necessary on hand to do the work properly. He gave an estimate of about 150 - 200 dollars, depending on the time it took. He had to cut a few drain pipes to make everything fit correctly, so it took him almost two hours to do the job. He did not doddle or spend time on his cellphone or disappear and go to his truck for fifteen minutes at a time like I've heard of some plumbers doing. He worked the entire time. When he was finished, he cleaned up properly and tested for leaks and proper operation of the unit. He explained all the work done, in detail. He also had me sign a waiver that said Schuler Plumbing was not responsible for the disposer itself (since I bought it at a hardware store), only the work performed to install it. The work performed, and the cleanup afterwards, was excellent. He was polite and professional.

Quality of the work was good, but feel they charged too much. Also had to come back a second time and charged us for both times. Frustrating experience on this job.

Schuler was able to correct my problem and we are now enjoying normal hot water pressure again. I find Schuler's service quality to be fantastic and their prices to be good (but not great.) I will continue to use them for all of my plumbing needs, as they always seem to get the job done for us.
