Gage arrived at 2:24 p.m. and inspected the sump pump area. He found that there was no electrical service going to the sump pump. He found that the pipe to the pump had a hole in it and asked if we wanted him to fix it or to replace the pipe. We said to replace the pipe. At 2:50 p.m., he left to go to Home Depot to get the supplies he needed and returned by 3:19. By 3:43 p.m. Gage was finished. He explained what he did and reminded us to contact an electrician for the electrical box. We paid him and he left. Gage is a personable young man who knows what he is doing. We were very happy with the service he gave us and would recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work done. Now, we have to contact an electrician. But, that will be tomorrow.

I was extremely pleased with every aspect of Robinson Plumbing's service. On Wednesday, August 6, my wife noticed that our water heater had developed a small leak. Since I had not previously needed plumbing services in almost 10 years, I used Angie's List to select a plumber to do the repair work. Based on their excellent reviews, I chose Robinson Plumbing. Late Wednesday night, I went to Robinson's website and completed an online Estimate Request for the water heater replacement. By 8:00 Thursday morning, they called me with a firm and, in my opinion, very fair estimate of $990 to remove my old water heater and replace it with a new Bradford White unit with a 10 year warranty. If I had chosen the standard 6 year manufacturer's warranty, the cost would have been about $200 less, but I wanted the longer warranty. Even though the leak was small and it was not an emergency repair, they were able to schedule the replacement on Thursday afternoon. Matt Robinson and his assistant, Patrick, arrived at my home within the 2 hour time frame when they said they would arrive. They were both very professional and courteous and worked very efficiently together. After they had disconnected the old water heater, Matt pointed out that my expansion tank was filled with water and should be replaced, but he left it up to me to decide whether I wanted them to do that. I could have bought one at a big box store or plumbing supply house and installed it myself since they only screw in and out of an existing fitting on the cold water supply line, but I decided to have Matt and Patrick replace it while they were there. Unfortunately, Matt did not have an expansion tank in his truck, so while Patrick finished installing the new water heater and completely drained the water lines in the house to be able to replace the expansion tank, Matt made a special trip to pick up the tank. Shortly before Matt and Patrick arrived at my house, I decided to check my sump pump to make sure it still worked, since I have never has to use it. When I tested it, the pump still ran, but I discovered that several clamps on the drain line had rusted off and the drain line was no longer attached to the pump. So while Matt and Patrick were already working in my home, I also asked them to repair the sump pump. Matt changed the configuration of the drain line so that I will never have a problem again with rusting clamps. For the installation of a new water heater with a 10 year warranty, removal of the old heater, installing a new expansion tank and repairing my sump pump, the total charge was $1,135, which I thought was very fair and probably less than I would have been charged if I had the same work done by a big box store or one of the larger and longer established service companies in the Allentown area. Their workmanship was also absolutely perfect. I don't know when I will need plumbing services again, but Robinson Plumbing will certainly be the plumbers I will use and I will highly recommend them to my family, friends and neighbors.

Overall had a great experience with Robinson. From the 1st time I called, they were able to schedule the service in 2 days. Ryan (plumber) was able to very quickly diagnose the problem and remove the drain without any problems whatsoever. He was very polite and courteous as he completed the work. There was a clog in the trap that was preventing waste water from passing out to the main. The waste water was backing up in our basement. Ryan seemed to know the problem right of the bat. He was able to clear the drain and verify all was clear within 30 mins. I would definitely recommend Robinson to anyone and call them again if needed in the future.

We moved into a new home with a pool house that had been winterized by the previous owners and for the life of us we could not figure out where to turn the water line on. Everything we tried did not work so we swallowed our pride and called Robinson Plumbing and we are so glad we did. In addition, we needed to have a 25 year old sink and toilet replaced and we needed a old water heater element replaced. We called Robinson Plumbing after reading all the reviews on angies list. First, Robinson Plumbing was able to schedule us for the following day. "Gauge" (the plumber) was prompt, very courteous and meticulous regarding his work and clean up. We were so impressed with him regarding his work ethics and honesty. We would definitely hire Robinson Plumbing again and would highly recommend them to the angies list community.

They were excellent. When I called, they responded promptly. They didn't make me wait when I explained the problem to them. They did it that day when I called them. They have very good customer service. The plumber that came out was professional. He did his job, went right to his work and that was it. They are dependable and knowledgeable. They are good troubleshooters.

We had issues with our water heater releasing water from the blow off valve. Matt arrived at the agreed time and took a look at the unit and recommended replacing the expansion tank. On the day of the install the technician arrived on time. He was mindful of our home and wore covers on boots to avoid tracking dirt through the house. On request the technician provided a thorough overview of the work that was performed before leaving.

My initials call was returned promptly and we scheduled the meeting. They were friendly, professional and gave me a price to do the job. There price was inline with another plumber that I knew already. I went with the plumber I knew, but would consider Robinson for future needs.

I was very, very impressed at the professionalism and value of Robinson Plumbing Services. Matt, , my plumber called before he arrived, to give his ETA. He arrived on time, put on special shoes so as not to bring in dirt or scuff my hardwood floors. He was in uniform and very police, addressing me as Mr. I explained what I needed done and he went right to work. He was neat, and experienced. I actually wanted an entirely new bath tub faucet and control handle. He took the inspection panel off the back of the tub to make sure the mixing valve was installed properly, and he checked for leaks. He found that the plumber I had for the same problem did not install some of the parts correctly and hence the handle on the faucet was very lose and not shutting the water off. He fixed the handle and valve, saving me $$$$. The toilet needed the recall valve and clamp installed and he repaired the water line to the toilet. I was ready to go in after he left and clean up, Surprise, it was cleaned up, even to me strict standards. I will call this company for all my plumbing needs, they are really Five Star, what took me so long to find a great plumber in the Lehigh Valley, that does not have their hand in my pocket, taking all my hard earned money? Keep up the excellent work, Robinson Plumbing!

They went the extra mile to search for a certain piece that would fix my faucet, and installed it.

I called early on the a.m. I was promptly called and an appointment was set up the same day to accommodate my schedule. The gentleman who showed up was professional, very polite, and thorough. I would definitely use again. Constant phone contacts were made throughout the day to keep me informed as to their arrival. I couldn't have asked for better service! I am glad I had Angies List to find a reputable plumber.

Fantastic! Love this plumber. Will never use anyone else. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Cleaned up very well. Reasonably priced. 100% choose Robinson over larger competitors. We tell everyone about him. Given out his card to several neighbors. It's good to have a plumber you can trust.

He showed up on time. Very professional. The cost was reasonable too.

The leak was discovered late on Friday. Calling their number and waiting a minute connected me to a call agent, who took my information and promised a callback. I received that callback within an hour or so, and scheduled the work for Saturday late morning. The plumber showed up early in the scheduled two-hour window and in ~45 minutes repaired the pipe, replacing a ~6" section. The plumber did a fine job of double-checking his work to ensure that it no longer leaked.

Extremely polite and professional man. Described the problems and gave us our options and explained what would be done for the options. We had 3 different plumbing businesses come in to try and stop the dripping in our bathroom faucets, with some having to come back. This gentleman was very confident he could fix them correctly, and did, no problems. The best feeling I got was when he showed the finished work, he seemed genuinely proud of what he did!. The whole company was well represented from customer service to the plumber. Absolutely will use again!

Matt and his team promptly showed up to address the problem. They were very professional, took the time to protect the space surrounding the work area, and at the end, also took the time to explain to me what they had done in terms that I could understand. I would highly recommend Robinson's Plumbing and plan on having them do additional work for me as well.

Did not go very well I got the impression that he or whoever he called did not have any suggestions on what to do. My thoughts were that possibly he could have snaked the line clean it out a bit and find out how far the snake would go. I received a call from Matt the owner at 10:56 on 04/14/2014. We discussed what happened, in our discussion he stated that the person was relatively new but that he was still very good at doing his job. I agreed with him up till we talked about all the solutions. If he had given me some ideas or suggestions or different scenarios as to what could be done and what it might cost I would have been happy. Matt, did state that he would talk with the young gentleman to hopefully prevent the same thing happening again at some point in the future.

It went very well, from the time I called to get their estimate, until the time they came did the work and left. Very nice people to work with. Very polite. Before they left I asked for a rough estimate on our up stairs bathroom. Gabe was simply fine with doing this. We would certainly use them in the future.

It went very well overall, they were a very good reputable company in my opinion. The price seemed high but was right in line with other companies. They came out very quickly.

We came home in the evening to find water backing up in our basement floor drains. We called Robinson Plumbing and the on-call plumber returned our phone call within minutes and arrived at our house 15 minutes later. He was very friendly and professional, and immediately suspected a blockage in our sewer system. Within an hour he was able to get the blockage cleared and get everything back up and running. He also replaced the two plugs on our house trap. All together it cost $345, which we felt was very reasonable for the work done, especially since it was an after hours call. We asked them to give us a quote on a new water heater, and we will definitely use Robinson plumbing again!

Arrived on time. Checked to make sure the toilet was leaking and not the shower. Explained the issue and the costs. Did the job. He was not aware of the other things that needed to be done, but took care of them. The leak in the pipe was fixed, the faucet was tightened up and the soap dispenser was replaced. That was a difficult job because of where it is located. Clean, efficient, polite. I don't think we will ever use anyone else. This is the second time they have fixed something.

I had rusty brown water coming from the faucets after filling up my hot tub. I looked at Angie's list and selected Robinson plumbing. We arranged a time for the tech to come out, he was on time and professional. He looked at the rusty residue and immediately figured out the problem, he checked out the water softener to make sure it was ok, he also took a sample of water to test to make sure the water was within limits. We had a discussion about whether to get an additional whole house filter system but he said what I had would work, he could have sold me an additional filter system and charged me for installing it, but he didn't. I was very appreciative of his honesty. The solution was to buy a $20.00 product from any hardware store. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Matt set up the installation with his crew and I was not disappointed. His crew was on time, neat, professional and took time to answer all my questions. Matt provided us a quality hot water heater that will last another 15 years. When I sent the email to be contracted he called me on a Sunday and within two days I had a new hot water heater. I will use Robinson Plumbing in the future and have already recommended him to one of my friends. Great job!
