Brett and Gage from Robinson Plumbing did an excellent job figuring out a well water issue for us. It wasn't an easy process and there was definitely some frustration, but with some trial and error and troubleshooting we were able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Highly recommend and would work with again.

Chris and I hired Robinson to replace our utility sink, faucet, drain and install shut off valves in our laundry room. Dylan and his assistant arrived at the promised time of 8am. Both were extremely professional with our interaction and the services were top notch. We will be hiring them again to install a garbage disposal and additional shut off valves in the kitchen. Price was at the going rate for a plumber. They are our new "go to team" with any emergency repairs.

They were clear, prompt, neat, and easy to work with. They were able to also catch and fix a major issue with high water pressure coming from the street which was an underlying cause for some of my problems. In the three years I’ve owned my old house they have been by far the easiest contractors to work with.

I called and the woman at the office said someone would call me back to schedule. I received a call back within 15 minutes, explained the situation and was told that he could be here within 25 minutes, but that I would be charged $150 for an after hours call. I said that was fine because I did not want to take time off from work. The work was done, quickly and neatly. I also received a quote to fix the faucet on another shower, advise on an issue with my bathtub spout and he also took a look at a larger job that I need done in the basement and advised me that they would need about 1/2 an hour to determine how to deal with that issue. He was professional and knowledgeable. I also appreciate not having the anxiety of having to take time off or to wait a few days for the shower to be fixed. He advised me that their last call was normally at 4, but I could schedule that ahead of time and since both the other repair and the estimate will take no more than 1/2 an hour (hopefully) I can easily schedule that for after work. This is at least the third time we have called Robinson's. We had a problem with our kitchen faucet before and a leaking toilet, but we had not called in a while because we didn't have a need.

How did it go overall? Tell us the story from start to finish (10,000 character limit): We contacted Robinson Plumbing about a leak we had where water was dripping from the bathroom into the kitchen. They sent out Cody on 10/03/18 to determine what the issue was and to propose a solution. Cody inspected the plumbing never bothering to even turn the water on, and he told us that he knew exactly what the problem was. Cody quoted us a price of $895 and stated that the repairs would fix all leaking. He also stated he would caulk the tub surround for us as well and that the job would take approximately 4 hours to complete. On 10/10/2018 Dylan and Cody arrived at 8 am to start the repairs and failed to deliver on every promise that Robinson Plumbing’s website makes. The repair took 8 hours, not 4. The spotless cleanup that Robinson Plumbing advertises on their website was anything but spotless. There were chunks of dry wall on top of and behind the stove from the ceiling that Cody and Dylan cutaway while repairing the plumbing. The floors were incredibly dirty because Cody and Dylan wore their booties outside even though they are only supposed to be worn indoors. The bathtub and bathroom floor were also filthy from the dirt that Cody and Dylan had tracked into the house. Despite the sloppy cleanup job, we hoped that the leak had been adequately repaired. Unfortunately, we were very wrong. Despite waiting the 8 hours that Dylan recommended for the caulk to dry, the leak began again as soon as we turned on the shower. I immediately called the Robinson Plumbing emergency line. Despite speaking with the operator several times, it took over an hour for the owner Matt Robinson to call me back. I told Matt that the leak had not been repaired and asked that he send someone out to fix it as soon as possible. Matt stated he would come to the house the next morning to fix the leak. On 10/11/18 Matt Robinson and his new employee Mike arrived to fix the leak. After examining the plumbing for a few minutes, Matt determined that we needed to replace the cold water valve stem. He also noticed that there was water leaking from the ceiling vent because his employee Dylan had damaged the vent when he was doing the repairs the preceding day. Matt told us that he would have Dylan come back to the house and fix the vent he had damaged. This is the same vent that Dylan stated didn’t need to be repaired during his initial visit. Matt also recommended that we replace the faucets, even though the faucets weren’t leaking, stating the hot water valve stem was old and needed to be replaced. I was hesitant, but Matt stated that we needed to replace the faucets, which were not leaking, because they would leak in the future. He quoted a price of $595 to replace the faucets. The $895 we were quoted to fix all leaks was now up to $1490. Unfortunately, the leak is still not fixed. This is not acceptable to us to incur any other charges for the same leak he quoted me to fix at $895. It should have been only $895 for the leak to be fixed, after all that’s what they said when they quoted me initially. When he was supposed to come out to warranty the work, because he claims his work is warranted for one year, and because the pipe was still leaking where it was initially leaking, he tried to sell me something new each time, first the faucets then the tub surround, stating each time that the leak would not stop unless additional repairs were made. He basically wanted to remodel our entire bathroom every time he came out to fix the initial leak we called him out for in the first place. On 10/19/18 we noticed that the bathtub was still leaking when we turned on the shower. We immediately contacted Matt Robinson to make him aware of the issue. Matt offered to have the On Call Technician, Dylan, come out to fix the leak. Since Dylan is the one who did not complete the repair job correctly in the first place, we told Matt that we were not comfortable having Dylan come out and asked that he send a more experienced plumber. Matt stated that Dylan was the only one available on the weekend and we would have to wait until Monday for the leak to be repaired. We called him out because the pipe was still leaking and he warrantees the work, because now water was leaking around the faucets he had just replaced. Our old faucets did not leak. On 10/22/18 at around 1:30 pm Mike arrived from Robinson Plumbing to fix the leak because up until now they have still not fixed the leak. We showed Mike that the faucets needed to be recaulked as there was a visible space around the hot water faucet. Mike recaulked around both faucets and then left. Mike reiterated that we should replace the tub surround, even though Robinson Plumbing’s initial estimate said nothing about the tub surround being the cause of the leak or needing to be replaced. Mike returned unexpectedly and asked me to sign a work order stating that he had recaulked the faucets but if the leak reoccurred, Robinson Plumbing would not come out to repair it. I refused to sign the work order and told Mike that Robinson Plumbing guaranteed their work for a year, as we were told by the owner Matt Robinson himself and also as it is advertised on Robinson Plumbing’s website, and that refusing to do so was a violation of that guarantee and that we would not sign it. Mike stated not to bother calling them if the leak reoccurs because Robinson Plumbing would not come out to repair it or stand behind their warranty. Robinson Plumbing charged us $895 for pipes that did not need to be replaced, tried to bill us an additional $595.00 when all they should have done was stood by their warranty, and failed repeatedly to fix the leak.

The advantage to hiring Robinson Plumbing is their integrity. We initially called to have the kitchen drain unclogged - for the 3rd time. Previously, we hired another highly-rated service. That company snaked the drain and cut into pipes in an area that couldn't be reached by the equipment they had brought with them. They advised that we discontinue using our garbage disposal, as the problem would keep repeating itself. As careful as we were, the problem repeatedly recurred and we finally called Robinson. Dylan responded on the same day and offered to clear the blockage, but he advised us that previous work performed on the pipes had not been done to code and the pipes were pitched poorly. He recommended that we have the pipes properly pitched, so that the water would drain easily and not sit at odd angles and unrealistic bends. We were disappointed that none of the previous plumbers had mentioned this glaring problem. Dylan tackled a problem that no one else was willing to spend time resolving. He cleared the blockage so that we could use the sink over the weekend, and he returned the following Tuesday to fix the grading problem. When he quoted the project, he anticipated having to re-pipe the kitchen, bathroom, and basement areas that were connected to that particular line. However, he and Gage were able to re-work the project more efficiently and less invasively, concentrating all of their effort in the basement and not having to touch the kitchen or bathroom. Dylan patiently demonstrated how the problem was fixed and assured us everything was checked with levels to ensure the necessary pitch. We trust that the problem has been resolved for the last time, and we are extremely grateful to have found both professionalism and integrity in Dylan and Robinson Plumbing. We will certainly hire them again for any future plumbing needs.

Our old 50 gal water heater started leaking after 12 years, so it was time to get a new one. With young kids growing older and soon to be taking the dreaded hour long teenage showers, we decided to replace the water heater with a 75 gallon unit. We have used Robinson's off and on for various plumbing projects over the past few years and have always been happy with the workers and quality of work. We got a rough quote from them over the phone, and it seemed fairly on-par with the prices we saw other people were paying here on Angie's List from other companies, so we defaulted to Robinson's again. As usual, we were very happy with the work. They came out the next business day and swapped everything out, taking maybe 2 hours tops. We did not need any exhaust re-work with the size switch out, which you might if you're looking to upgrade, depending on your hardware and its placement in your basement. We remain happy with Robinson's and will continue to use them in the future as long as the prices stay comparable and the quality remains top notch.

This is a follow-up to a negative review I have since retracted: I had been dealing with a water back-up in my basement drain since I bought my house 12 years ago. The problem subsided for many years until recently, and Robinson Plumbing has dealt with the issue. After a rocky start, the owner has personally resolved the issues and guided me along as I continued to have some minor issues with the problem. Instead of an intrusive and possibly costly plumber visit, his recommendation saved me both time and money. His personal attention to my situation has restored my faith in this company - and I look forward to using Robinson Plumbing again in the future- just hopefully for something less stressful!

It didn't go. When I called, they wanted to schedule it for 8 days later. That was not acceptable, so they scheduled him for the next day, a Friday. He came on time and was polite. However I wanted to be honest with him, so I told him to be careful because several years ago, another plumber had broken off part of his cutter tool further inside the line. Even after I told him that two other plumbers had cleared similar clogs in this same area that is now clogged, he refused to even try. Further, all he could do was to schedule them to dig up the yard, and make repairs to the line, ranging from $2,600.00 up to $8,000.00., and that wouldn't happen for 10 days to 2 weeks. By the next day, Saturday, I have a total blockage, and I cannot shower, use the toilet, laundry etc., and may not have the ability to do so for 2 weeks. Then on Sunday, after talking to my neighbor, I called another plumber and he arrived in 10 minutes and cleared the clog in 5 more minutes. Now guess who is getting the big job to fix the major job further in the line. Sure won't be Robinson.

I received a call from a representative from Robinson Plumbing. The representative talked through my issue and recommended that I should not ask him to come as I will waste unnecessary $175. Instead he suggested me to go in the attic and confirm what the issue is. If the issue is with the HVAC or my roof, then I will be wasting my service call with Robinson Plumbing. A great professionalism demonstrated!!

Robinson showed up on time for estimate and for job. Did a great job. Everything done nicely and cleaned up. Very polite and professional. I had 3 estimates. They were all in same ball park but I liked the expertise of Robinson the best. I liked their ideas and how they would go about making the fixes and changes. Definitely hire again!

It was the sewer, the drains worked, but it wouldn't go out to the street, so they cleared it. This is like he 2nd or 3rd time that I used them. I just bought the house a year and a half ago and they did some initial plumbing work for me when I first moved in, so I called them back.

Robinson was the only plumber who gave me an estimate over the phone so I could budget for it. His service was complete, on time, and as professional a job as I'd ever experienced from a plumber. When he was done, he went over the basics, provided a few tips, and cleaned up after. Think I've found my new go to plumber.

We called and asked when they could come out. They were able to come out right away and gave us upfront pricing. Brett was at our home within 30 minutes and was professional and friendly. He cleared the clog and was finished within 30 minutes. We would recommend Robinson Plumbing to anyone.

The response was very quick. They came and were able to fix the problem in a short period of time. The men who came to do the repairs were very professional and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and we would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

we discovered Robinson plumbing about a month ago when are toilet became clogged. i was so impressed with them then that i knew we had found are one and only plumber. not only are they extremely professional but when you tell them what kind of problem you are having they quote you a price and stick to it no matter what other problems may arise. when i called yesterday to explain what the problem was, they had one of there plumbers at our home within an hour. i was quoted a price and despite the job being more involved then at first thought, a piece to the snake not working(causing the plumber t6o go to topton to get the needed part), having to get more snake( plumber had to go 120 feet to get clog undone) and being on the job well over 3 hours, are bill remained the same. Robinson's team of plumbers are very educated, they work until the problem has been taken care of and thus far the 2 plumbers that have come to are rescue were very kind and considerate. from now on we will only use Robinson plumbing and if you find you are in need of a good,educated and licensed plumber i highly suggest you call Robinson plumbing in Allentown Pa. the Schimmel family

Quick and easy! Everyone I encountered who works for Matt was great. Honest and courteous people. The work they did was excellent. They were able to come on the day I needed, gave me a quote that was reasonable and completed all the work in a few hours.

Everything was great. It took two trips and they arrived when scheduled and the job took just about as much time as they estimated. The work was done very well. They were very neat and careful.

It went great. They are a very customer friendly company. Gave me options to think about, did not try to upsell. The plumber was very professional and nice. Was able to accommodate my change the day prior from replacing one toilet to two. The quote they gave me over the phone was the price I paid. Could the price been a little cheaper, maybe, but for the price I paid for their service it was well worth it. I do not feel like I over paid at all.
