Lehigh Valley Electric were very good. We asked them, they didn't pressure. He said you start with this or that or you don't have to do anything. They were punctual and kind of answered my questions. They were very good but he had a lot of jobs so I think it took him a while to get back but I get that.

Bob and the person with him were extremely professional and efficient. We needed one extra item installed and when we asked about an additional charge he waved us off. We were so impressed with him that we took his card with the intention of contacting him for any work he can do for us in our new home. AND yes. My house passed re-inspection and I will be getting the CO I need to sell my house. I highly recommend him to others.

Called LV electric after finding deal on Angie's. Bob very responsive, called back, made appt for next day, came over, walked thru entire house, checked all things electric and all outlets. pointed out things that were too loose, needing replacement, things that were not up to code currently, saw things in basement with water heater needing it's own single outlet. Reviewed main panel and pointed out code issues there too. I asked about running a 220 line for a dryer and for running wires to the center of each bedroom upstairs to put fans in. He said he would do all that and send me a quote. That was the good part. The waiting for the report was rediculous. He did say he would be on vacation for a week the first week of June, so I understood maybe not getting the report by the time he went away. I called in follow up 2 other times. I got the report with quotes on June 16th with an apology. 4 weeks plus after visit.

a handyman project gone awry was corrected and up graded. It was a small job and he was very busy at the tie but when we told him we had house guests coming from out of the country he met our timeline. Very professional and nice.

I initially purchased the recessed light deal from Angie's list. Bob was very responsive and flexible to my schedule and the other work that had to be completed before we could do the lighting work. I was very pleased with the work that was done, they were timely, professional and clean. I decided to have some additional recessed lights installed in another room, LED lighting installed above the sink area in the kitchen and a new line run for an electric fireplace we were putting in. I couldn't be happier with the work that was done and I will contact Lehigh Valley Electric for any future electrical projects I come up with.

All scheduling was great. First contact was for an Angie'sl List deal for the outside outlet. In installing it he uncovered a long standing fault in our (very) old wiring, which could have been dangerous. We were so pleased we contacted his firm when we needed a new ceiling fan. He is extremely competent and his rates seem reasonable. He is willing to give a free estimate, which is allowing us to prioritize the work we want done.

Very smoothly! Hired Bob from Lehigh Valley Electric after an Angie's List whole house electrical inspection special I took advantage of. Bob presented me with a detailed invoice for room by room, and the services he would provide. Bob allowed me to purchase all of the push-button switches and receptacle covers. (Using his detailed list, taking inventory was easy!) His invoice was the most detailed I have ever received from a contractor. More businesses should do this! Bob and Andy worked their expertise over three days and fixed all of my electrical issues. The dryer is no longer "hot-wired" to the main panel. It has its own dedicated outlet... They correct the overloaded junction boxes in the furnace room... The kitchen lights no longer react when the refrigerator or the dehumidifier starts... No more power surges whenever a major appliance kicks in. They cleaned up a mess of wires in the basement that seemed to be splice upon splice. There is virtually no damage to any wall or to the plaster lath - which I was anticipating with a house re-wire, but it did not happen! All debris was cleared away at the end of each workday. With the house and garage electrical issues in the past, I feel much safer! No need to worry about the house catching fire due to electrical problems. I plan on having Bob return to add an additional circuit in the attic, and to install a ceiling fan in the kitchen.

Bob was highly professional, answered all my questions, did a great job rewiring with minimal impact to my walls, and cleaned up when finished. We are very pleased, and will definitely call for future electrical work. Price was fair - on par with other electricians I have used, but service was better!

Bob was prompt, courteous, professional and worked around our schedules. My wife works from home so it would have been difficult for us to get the work done during the week, but Bob from Lehigh Valley Electric shuffled his schedule to get the work done on a Saturday when my wife was off. Many of the contractors who have done work at my house since I bought it last year have boasted about how clean they would leave the job site when they were done, but they all failed to do so. Bob covered the entire floor in the room where he did all of the inside work and did not leave so much as a screw on the floor or outside on the ground. Almost all of our communication prior to the work date was done via email which was very convenient for me and my schedule, but Bob made it clear that he was always available by phone. inspected the electrical service throughout the entire house, did a good job of explaining every item which he identified, put together a comprehensive list of higher priority items. This was very helpful since the house is ~ 50 years old.

It started as normal...I applied for the big deal and the provider promptly responded.We set up a initial phone conversation for Friday morning. I called and the provider was not available so I left a message...he promptly returned the call. During the conversation I was asked to go to the basement identity our electrical panels, the numbers on some knobs. We previously informed the provider that we had two electrical boxes and then on Friday told him of our third generator box.... This might more work and cost than the big deal offer and we would be required to go in front of the boxes again before any visit was done...We thought it better to curtail this method and go with an electrician that could come out access the situation and then solve it in one or two visits without our getting involved and possibility conveying incorrect information...It will probably mean more expense but then everything would be done by a professional and not by us guessing what information was needed was accurate.

He came to the house, saw all that needed to be done, and came back two times to finish the job. When it was done it looked great

There were no troubles with scheduling and there were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. The technician arrvied right on time and spent about an hour on the work. It turned out fine. He was very accommodating.

It cost be $100 to find out he doesn't repair generators.

the only thing I can say is I really don't notice any difference since this surge protectors been put on, so, i feel, i wasted 129.00, I would never use this electrician again

We exchanged a few emails and voice mails. Bob informed us that most people don't realize how invasive recessed lighting installation can be if there isn't attic space above the install area. That is the case in the room we wanted the lighting installed. He said there would be several holes in the ceiling and walls to run the wiring. He also said we would be responsible for patching and repainting those holes. This was extra work we did not want to take on or pay another party to repair.

Bob stayed in touch from the initial time of contact until the inspection and report were completed. The report was very thorough - including items that also should be done by the household members to be safe and avoid potential fire hazards. The major thing identified was that the electrical panel needs to be replaced. While my niece is dragging her feet about what she's going to do (because of her currently tight budget), when the time comes, we will call Bob too do the work. I also will be calling Bob when I'm ready to have some necessary electrical work done at my own home.

Everything went smoothly -- took a little longer than expected, but bad weather delayed the finish of the project

The new quad outlet required a dedicated line from the basement, new box and cover. A new fixture was installed in a closet to replace a broken light. New wiring was run to a closet and a new fixture was installed. An old outlet was replaced. The electrician and his helper were running a little late and called to inform me of the problem. Less than 20 minutes. The company supplied all of the materials and fixtures. The work was done in about 5 hours and cleanup was done. The fishing of the wire for the quad outlet was the longest job. Lehigh Electric has worked here before and will work here again. The quality of their work is what brings them back. When it comes to electrical it must be done right and that is how they do my jobs.

The company was very nice but there was just some trouble scheduling. We had a lot of snow and the appoint the appointment had to be canceled.

This is Bob's second visit to my house. Beautiful work, prompt, professional, will use them again.
