0 stars! Do NOT use this electrician! He is rude and dismissive but charges an inordinate amount without producing quality. Bob and company (I.e., his receptionist) are the absolute rudest contracting org we have ever encountered. We scheduled a service call with Bob for 3 services: 1) to repair a chandelier lift, 2) to install a new chandelier and 3) to install a ceiling fan in place of ceiling light. He came in with an attitude like he did not want to do the job. My husband had been in touch with the manufacturer of the lift and had ordered the replacement part myself. When he tried to explain the background on the lift motherboard, Bob was uninterested and rushed me through the instructions. However, he did not waste any time warning us that he would be charging extra for any trouble-shooting. In the end, he did not hook up the motherboard correctly. We had to have another electrician come to fix his errors. Given his attitude, we did not ask him to complete the chandelier. It was large and complex - so clearly he wanted nothing to do with it. The ceiling fan was a simple change because we already had a ceiling fan guard. This was the only thing he completed. To top it off, when my husband called to let his office know he charged us for doing the job incorrectly (request a partial refund), Tracey began screaming at him, blaming him saying we messed with the motherboard! My husband was patient, spoke calmly, and tried to explain why we should not be charged for the bad job (note we were willing to pay the service fee and work for the fan), she hung up on him! If you expect to pay for a service that is correct, complete and done with respect, Bob from Lehigh Valley Electric is not your electrician.

My wife and I have had Bob Holland do thousands of dollars worth of electrical work in the past. So I was surprised he was charging $59.00 just to come out and give us an estimate on installing a heater in my garage. We have never had Bob come out for an estimate and not give him the job. So I asked his wife if the $59.00 would go toward the job if he was hired. She said yes. I was still a little put off about the money but made an appointment for him to come out agreeing to pay the $59.00. Bob came out and was about to leave and asked how I wanted to pay the $59.00 and I said check. I went in to write the check and my wife wanted me to tell him we were a little offended about having to pay the $59.00. I proceeded to hand him the check and said my wife was upset about the money after having him do over $20,000.00 worth of work in the past. He said nothing, handed the check back to me and left in anger. Very unprofessional and immature on his part. We thought maybe he would call to apologize, Nothing. Needless to say I would never call Lehigh Valley Electric again. We thought Bob was not only our go to electrician but a friend. Obviously not.

Went superbly - a very professional team that installed state-of-the-art smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors equipped with 10-year lithium ion battery backup. Installed tamper-proof, weather-proof GFCI on the deck

This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've used them. My sister uses them. My sons uses them. They did some work last fall and then again in late winter, early spring. Once again, straight A's. I don't call them back the 2nd or 3rd time, unless I'm very pleased. Obviously, since I just did it for the 2nd and 3rd time, yes, I would use them again. Matter of fact, I'm contemplating calling them again because I have some other work I want them to do.

They did a great job. They were very responsive and efficient. They got the job done at a reasonable cost.

Lehigh Valley Electric was a wonderful company to work with. I called several electric companies and Lehigh Valley Electric was the only company that responded promptly. Customer service was excellent and the electricians were very professional and got the job done. My hot tub is wonderful and thanks to Lehigh Valley Electric, was hooked up quickly so we could enjoy our tub. Thank you for your services we will definitely use your services again!

Very prompt and courteous. I had to go out of town on business and left instructions with my wife on installation. From Erica in the office to Joel the installer everything ended up perfect!

I liked everything -- as I said A all the way except for the price.

Paid $40 to get a ridiculously high estimate. When I questioned the price (over $700 for the ceiling fan/switch installation alone), was told that it was standard pricing and that it's expensive to run a contracting business. Contacted another electrician and had the work done for about 1/3 of what LV Electrical wanted. I'm sure they do quality work, but I can't see a ceiling fan install only takes a few hours. Guess their "standard rates" are around $200/hr since the contractor I used had 2 men do the job in 2 hours.

The outdoor outlet was installed but looks horrible! It was basically "hung" on the side of the house instead of being recessed.

All went extremely well. from the estimate through the finished product. Showed up on time and project was finished as described. No problems at all.

Getting an initial estimate was easy. Bob even came out to evaluate the job on Christmas Eve. Throughout the process, all communication was handled very professionally and promptly. For those to whom it's important: Bob works in the 21st century with email and SMS, in addition to more traditional phone calls. Scheduling was very flexible, adjusting to dates and times that were best for me. Additionally, Bob was always prompt, arriving at the agreed time. The work performed was of the utmost quality. I'm a perfectionist, and it's the little things that really bug me, but it seems that Bob is as well. Everything on this job was done right, and when something wasn't quite right, like the parts house shipping the wrong cover for one of the panels, it was fixed without my even having to mention it, even though he could have forced the wrong cover to serve the purpose. Lastly, on personality, I found Bob very easy to talk to, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I have no regrets about this job, and I'll definitely go back to Lehigh Valley Electric for my future needs.

This was a great experience. My wife and I bought a house that was built in 1949 so there were a lot of little projects and fixes previous owners did over the years that made things a bit confusing. If I were to have tried to have done with the professionals did, it would have likely lasted a full weekend and caused a few arguments. Highly recommend this company.

Perfect. All work done professionally, on time and to our complete satisfaction. I would not think of looking at another electrical contractor in the future

Work was done very professionally and thoroughly. Our plan was reviewed and modification were suggested and implemented. Explanations were clear. We were fit in between other jobs which slowed down the installation; however, our service was never interrupted. Cleanliness was very good and no mess was left on days of work or when the job was completed.

Everything went very well. Bob was there right on time and didn't waste any time getting to work. Bob did a great job and the cost came at almost exactly the estimate (actually a little under). All in all, great work and I highly recommend and use Lehigh Valley Electric again in future!

They were here twice. Once to do the inspection and again to do some of the repairs arising from the inspection. Overall the work was pretty well-done. Something that was done had to be redone later by another provider. Communication was good and the findings of the inspection was sent by email and in US mail. I think it was an issue of attitude that made me a bit uncomfortable.

They were amazing and I would use them again in a heart beat. They also sent an estimate to my email and called before they showed up. I was so happy with them.

They were easy to get a hold of and easy to communicate with. They came to our home, inspected our current electrical panel, and explained everything necessary to bring everything up-to-date. LV Electric showed up on time for the days we scheduled the work. Everything was completed on time and on budget. They'll be the first people we contact next time we need electrical work done.

They did they job quickly, cleanly, and without any problems at all. They were really friendly too. Would highly recommend them. Only drawback is that since they're highly rated, it takes a long time for them to come out.

I originally found Lehigh Valley Electric on Angie's List. I've always been very impressed with them so when we needed a digital timer installed then I emailed the owner of the business, Bob Holland, to set up an appointment. He emailed soon thereafter. He called me to ask some questions about exactly what I would need the device to do, since there are many options for this. He has always gone above and beyond and this time was no exception. After asking for the specifics, he ordered the one that turned out to be perfect for our needs. They showed up right on time and he and John, Bob's apprentice, got right to work installing it. They always put down a protective covering over the work area. They were very careful when carrying the tools around our home so that nothing would touch the walls or furnishings. Bob programmed the device for us after installing it. Bob then set our garage door electronics. Bob and John worked very well together to provide excellent service. I would highly recommend Lehigh Valley Electric. They are always exceptionally knowledgeable, polite, thorough, tidy, professional, and punctual. Additionally, Bob always very patiently listens to me and answers all of my questions. His prices are very reasonable, so much so that I find myself not even asking for an estimate from him. We will definitely call Bob for all future electrical issues.
