Description of Work: New panel box, a grounding system, several ground fault outlets, all aiming at bringing our house close to being up to code. I thought the quality of his work was excellent. He was there exactly when he said he would be there. I doubt that his price was the cheapest, but I don't think you should look for cheapest when electrical work is done. The final price was exactly as quoted. I would recommend Bob for honesty and professionalism.

Description of Work: Decided to take advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal". |Since my house was built in the 1800's, the existing wiring is definitely a concern. Bob did a total house and garage walk-through with me, and when completed, we talked over what he found: attic wiring needs to be redone, most house outlets are not grounded, sub panel in the garage is wired incorrectly, household outlet has reversed polarity, overloaded junction boxes, the dryer is hot wired direct, and not plugged into a dedicated outlet...Bob found much that needs to be addressed. |Within 2 weeks, he sent out a detailed report along with a quote to do the work. I decided to go ahead and contract with Lehigh Valley Electric to address these issues. The work will be sometime in April/May 2014. |Bob is also nice enough to allow me to change the house switches from the normal flip switch to push-buttons. (Thanks Bob!)
