Mr. Holland was very prompt and courteous. He used drop cloths so that the areas he was working in stayed clean. He was spot-on with his estimate compared to the final cost. After leaving Bob a message, he responded the same day. I explained what I wanted over the phone and he understood exactly what I wanted. Bob explained this was not a standard request and came out the following day to discuss what needed to be done. Bob was very thorough in his explanations and obtained pricing very quickly for materials that he normally did not use, I had also requested a power cord to support a 50amp twist-lock connection to the transfer switch from my generator. Bob was very helpful when I showed him some options I was looking at to try to save some money. He even gave me some pricing to make one for me which was very competitive. Bob arrived the day of the installation on time and prepared. His helper was also very profesional and courteous and explained every detail of what he was doing to me during their visit. Bob even stayed and helped me to do a full test of the generator and explained in great detail how to mange my power via my internal breaker box and sub panel. Everything worked perfectly. Even after the job was done, Bob took the time to email me step by step instructions for switching my home over to the portable generator so I could laminate them and place them with my generator. The following day, Bob was at my home labeling the switch so my wife would not have any apprehension using the system on her own if needed. Bob did a wonderful job and I plan on using him again this summer to move some 240 circuits to other parts of my home so we can relocate our dryer. If you need an electrician, look no further.

Contacted LVE to get a quote on putting in a transfer switch. Bob was very accommodating to my work schedule and came out, checked out what i wanted to do. When i decided to go with them, scheduling the work was very easy. He used quality components and did a great job. No hesitation in recommending.

They arrived when they said they would. They did a professional and very neat installation. They took the time to explain the installation and how to operate the entire setup, including the generator, which they didn't provide. They followed up with additional information and customer support.

I called Bob in the aftermath of the snowstorm we had in late October 2011. My work was not an emergency so I did not expect to have it done immediately. He contacted me, came out to do an estimate, ordered parts, and completed the work in plenty of time before the holidays. He worked to find a way to do the repairs which would be the least expensive for me. Bob is totally professional. His work is excellent, and he leaves the work area as clean as when he arrived. He is busy and cannot always come immediately, unless there is an emergency; but he will respond to emails and phone calls and keep you posted on when he will be able to do the work.

The initial scheduling of the work worked very well via email which I appreciated as I am not always available by phone. Bob Holland responded promptly and came out as agreed for the initial estimates. Scheduling of the actual service date was understandably a bit delayed due to his high workload following last year's early snowstorm in October. Bob was punctual, courteous and very professional. He even took the time to explain to me how some of the systems work. The work was completed diligently and rapidly and the work area left completely clean. The Angie's List reduction was applied to the final bill without hesitation. I particularly appreciated the excellent service given that my job turned out to be smaller than initially anticipated.

The electrician was very prompt and had no problem completely the work in just a couple of hours. He gave us his cell phone number in case we needed to reach him on Monday when the new machine was being installed. We will definitely use him again for our business and our personal needs!

We originally contacted Bob at Lehigh Valley Electric to have a new range hood replaced and new light switch installed. Then we had the snow storm. During the storm a branch came down and ripped the 200a line from the weather head down to the meter, right off the side of our home. PPL temporarily reattached the weather head so we had power. Bob came out a short time after the storm, assessed the damaged and sent an estimate for the damage as well as the range hood and light switch. The estimate was very reasonable and we approved that the work be completed by Lehigh Valley Electric. Bob and his assistant arrived, actually ahead of the scheduled time. The work was very professional and the work looked great. We are very pleased with the work and the outcome. Bob and his assistant we very personable, professional, completed the work in a short period of time and cleaned up after they completed the work. We are very pleased with Lehigh Valley Electric and would definitely recommend Bob and Lehigh Valley Electric for your electrical work.

He made an appointment to come out and estimate the job. Bob gave me an estimate of $770, which he called the worst case scenario. When he actually did the work, he found out that the estimate was too high, because it turned out to me simpler than he expected. The final bill turned out to be way less then the original estimate. We set a date and he appear on that date on time and did an excellent job. He was extremely neat, laying out tarps to prevent a mess. When he left he cleaned up leaving the areas in good clean condition. Through out the project he was punctual, thoughtful and courteous. I would definitely recommend Bob Hohlland for any electrical that one might need.

Prompt professional contact. Visit for estimate was available and completed with in days. Proposal was back with-in a day. Several options and recommendations to choose from. Follow up from Bob was prompt and polite but not pushy while we delayed to accommodate our timing needs. Job scheduling was available with-in 1 week of request. day 1 of 2 went perfectly. day 2 of 2 was postponed due to weather concerns. Bob worked with us to reschedule and complete work with a skilled assistant. Work was clean, neat, explained thoroughly.

LVE will keep in good communication with you via email and phone. They are quite busy, so we did have to wait a few days between first contact and the job being completed, but I did not mind because I felt the price was fair, the communication was good, and the final work was of very good quality. I would not hesitate to use them again, and given the age of our house, I probably will, lol!

The residential home is a property rental. The electrician called our tenant and made the arrangements to assess the homes telephone lines and connections. The entire process was prompt and did not require any follow up on my part. Once the assessment was completed, I received a call from the electrician to discuss his findings. The electrician took time to explain his findings and in the end, we did not need to complete any repairs. As a property manager I value honesty and professionalism.

Bob was amazing. He was five minutes early to the appointment, extremely professional and exceeded all of my expectations. The neatness of the work was outstanding and showed a lot of extra thought and consideration. I guess I would say that he treated my house as if it were his own. The work was started when scheduled and finished within the estimated amount of time. I will not hesitate to call him again and I have already recommended him to several of my friends at work.
