They never returned my call, even though I asked that they come by ASAP as I had no electricity in 3 bedrooms. The secretary was very professional and I do understand that companies get busy, but a return call would have been appreciated. Still, I would give them another chance in the future.

I tried contacting LV Electric towards the beginning of the month to get an estimate on the electrical work required to install a dishwasher in my kitchen (I didn't have a dishwasher, and the kitchen didn't seem equipped for it). Bob returned my call a day later, and left a message with his cell number. I tried calling back the next day, but got his voicemail and left a message. After a week or so of not hearing back, I called LV Electric's main number again, saying I hadn't heard back from Bob. He called back a day or two later, and we finally set up an appointment to stop by. Bob and his assistant took a look around for about 15 minutes, saying he would e-mail me a quote, but he also gave me the impression that it would be difficult to give a quote without having the dishwasher on-site. Anyway, I haven't received that quote, I'm getting my dishwasher this week, and I'm planning on saving myself the aggravation by going with another electrician that's more responsive. I actually got a quote from another electrician over the phone within a day. Bob seemed like a nice guy, but if he's busy with other jobs or commitments that prevent him from giving me a quote, then I wish Bob or the receptionist would've told me that he's booked for X number of weeks.

We are scheduled for Thursday for the install thought the process they have been professional and the quote for lighting was what we expected. So far so good. I will update this review after the work is completed.

He was late and upon his arrival I felt that he was rushing through the analysis of installing the ceiling fans. He was not pleasant, nor friendly. I understand that he may have been behind schedule, but I feel that he should have made us feel at ease with the services he was to provide. We received the estimate via email. We found it to be over priced.

I felt like I had to keep pursuing Lehigh Valley Electric in order to obtain estimates and set time for the work to be done. Was happy with installation of bathroom lights/fans. Job was neatly done and am happy with outcome. Not happy with replacement of light socket on rangehood. Now when I turn on the fan, it makes a horribly loud noise. Prior to the replacement, the fan never made such a loud noise. Also, not extremely happy with the price of the service seeing that it was primarily labor involved (except for light socket). I purchased both ceiling lights and the price given of $330 included $200 off (Angie's List coupon). Without the coupon, the price would have been $530...which would have been totally outrageous. I thought price would be more reasonable since the attic didn't have to be accessed for the installation. Overall, I'm content with the quality of the job. However, I don't think I would use them again.

It was fine. I didn’t have any emotional attachment with them, one way or the other, it was a fact based walk through. I got a deal so the price was very good. For the work that was done, they charged me separately and I thought it was a good price. I didn’t actually like the guy that came out but that was a personality thing. He was a perfectly competent guy but I thought he had a weird edge to him that struck me in a way that I wouldn’t actually use him again but I would use the company again.

I was not happy with their service. I felt like their prices were so much higher that even with the Big Deal was not worth it. The person who came out seemed to answer that most of the work I needed done could not be done. I used them the day they came, but that did not use up the entire amount of the Big Deal, and I never went back to use the rest because I was so dissatisfied.

Friendly, prompt and clearly explained what is protected and what is not protected with a whole house surge protector.

Lehigh Valley Electric first came to the house to give us an estimate for a list of small jobs we needed to have done. We had purchased a coupon on Angie's List and indicated to them that we were not really wanting to go too much over the cost of the coupon. Bob said he would make a list of all the work needed and give us an itemized estimate so we could pick and choose the most important pieces that we were asking to have completed. Worked out great. Bob followed up with the estimate in a few days, scheduled the work, showed up on time and completed what we asked along with a few other added items that we discovered needed to be done.

This deal went well. They showed up on time. The technician was able to point out some things I needed fixed. Very thorough.

He arrived promptly and completed the job as scheduled. His work was well performed. He even returned to the job after it was done because I was having breaker trips when running a vacuum cleaner. As a result, I learned an interesting fact regarding AFCI protection. AFCI breakers have sophisticated circuits to detect variations in current caused by an arc. An arc will trip the breaker and then indicate by a light on the breaker that the cause was an arc fault, not an overload. Some normal household appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, which a are typically brushed motors, will trip an AFCI if there is a fault to ground, even though the same appliance will run just fine on a GFCI-protected circuit and will not be noticed by the user because all such appliances are double insulated per Underwriters Laboratories certification requirements. Having an AFCI is still worthwhile however as it will protect against an arc that would not cause an overload, but could cause a fire in your home.

Lehigh Valley Electric Inc came out right away, were quick completing the job, and followed up after service. They were very friendly and professional.

Called Lehigh Valley Electric after Hurricane Sandy. Bob ordered Generator, took several weeks because of volume of people wan ting generators after the Hurricane. Installed in January 2013. Everything was done nice and neat. Very professional.

I have been playing phone/email tag with him since I purchased the deal. I was told in November when I purchased the deal that he would give me a call back with the person who took the message. With the holidays, I put it off until January. I finally got a text message from him stating that he would be back in town the week of Feb. 11th and he would come out for the estimate. I still haven’t heard back from him and decided to go with someone else.

It went really well. He was very courteous. He fixed something I wouldn't have been able to fix for months in probably 30min.

When I first called and left a message, Bob returned my call within 24 hours. We set up an appointment and he came about 25 miles to my house. He needed more parts than originally thought and rescheduled a second appointment. He came that day and performed the service quickly and efficiently. What impressed me most about Bob was his polite quiet demeanor. He went out of his way to be sure I was satisfied. And even though he usually doesn't come this far, he assured me that if I ever needed his services again, he would make the trip.

I was able to set an appointment with ease. Robert arrived on time for the appointment and assessed the situation. He said he would get an estimate back to me via the postal service. I still have not received the estimate. I have tried to call the office 2-3 times to get the estimate and have received no response. I have decided to go with another company due to their lack of response.

I emailed Bob to request an estimate, and it took him a couple of weeks to get back to me. He set up an appointment to meet me before work one morning -- but was running late and so couldn't make it. We rescheduled for the following Saturday -- he was only there for a few minutes (really is a simple job and he said he was really busy). Said he'd get me the estimate in the next couple days, hopefully by the end of the weekend. I haven't heard back from him. He made it pretty clear that the job was beneath him. I told him there was more work and that I had bought his Angie's List Big Deal as preparation -- now I want my money back. Have the courtesy to say that you don't have the time to do the job and (hopefully) suggest someone else. Sigh.

I am so thankful for Mr. Holland. Mr Holland made sure that PPl was aware of the situation. I was to call him back if PPL did not get back to us. How great was that for service! And to top it off, the price he charged for the service call seemed low for the time he spent. I will definitely call Lehigh Valley Electric again and would highly recommend them. He is very professional and gives you a feeling of honesty. A keeper...!

Bob Holland of Lehigh Valley Electric arrived at our agreed time and date, installed a 'whole house surge protector', provided all warranty and protection info, and said if there ever was a problem to call him. He also cleaned up debris left behind by the original distribution panel installer. I have no doubt I can call Bob at any time for any problem.

We experienced very poor service from this company. Only an answering service is used to receive calls and there is never a response back. POOR POOR POOR SERVICE.

There was some delay in obtaining estimate and scheduling work; however, the work was performed as scheduled and for the estimated price. Bob was very helpfull in determining type of fixtures and ultimately obtained the pole lamp for us at a reduced price. He also provided a recommendation of an individual who dug the trench for the electrical lines from the house to the light pole. Bob was very professional and I will use him again.

He validated some concerns I already had, found some new issues, and educated me on a lot of issues. He also provided me with quotes for additional work which arrived in the mail - and my inbox - within a week. He is an excellent listener; a rare quality these days. I will definitely use Lehigh Valley Electric again.
