Bob was very flexible and worked with our schedules (including working around baby nap time) to get the work done. He and his assistant were very professional and did a great job on these items. I have more work to be done and will definitely consider Lehigh Valley Electric first!

They arrived on time and walked us through items of concern.

One of their estimates was more than three times as much as I paid to get the job done. Their pricing was absolutely outrageous. I was not at all satisfied with them. The gentleman who came to do the estimate was fine, but his pricing was ridiculous. I wanted him to put four recess lights above the counters in my kitchen. He wanted $1,400 to do it. I did not even respond to him when I got that estimate in the e-mail. He came up with a special in Angie’s List, but he would do two recess lights for I believe $200. I sent him an e-mail asking if he can do four of them for $400 since he had a special for two for $200. I never got a response from him. Their punctuality was fine. They showed up when they said they were going to be here, and their professionalism was okay for the guy that came here.

Arrive on time with helper. Did a neat job. Stayed until all work was complete. Very good job

Valleywide changed the offending part and advised me to follow up with the electric company. I haven't had any problems since.

We have used Bob for 3 other jobs and I am very confident in his work. Contacted him to disconnect our hot tub (on very short notice) and move the existing electrical outlet (in the middle of the patio) and move to the side of the house and put in a new outlet. Bob first disconnected the hot tub and came back several days later to finish the job. As before, showed up on time and worked very diligently and job was done to our satisfaction. I continue to recommend Lehigh Valley Electric.

The only thing I might add that has nothing to do with the quality of the work is that he was not very friendly.

He was wonderful. From beginning to end! I had purchased a big deal and they responded right away, were here when they said they would be. He gave me an estimate that was accurate and neatly done. Very clean, reliable, and courteous. I couldn't' give them enough praise.

The owner, Bob Holland and an associate, arrived on time on the scheduled day the work was to begin. On the first day he installed the home surge protector but didn't have all the necessary items to install the cable & phone line surge protector as well. He came back in a few days to complete that. He installed outdoor motion sensor lighting but it wasn't exactly where I wanted it to be. I informed him via email that I might want it moved. He was very agreeable to come back and change the location. After looking at the light situation, I decided to keep the original light where he had installed it and add an additional motion light in the back of the house. This then solved my lighting requirements for the dark areas around my home. He also installed a motion light at my side door. When he installed the one set of lights outside, he also included an electrical outlet that will really come in handy when I'm doing yard work. To install the outdoor motion sensor lights, he ran a conduit up the side of the house from the basement. Although you can see these on the outside of the house, I am happy with the results because he did a really professional job and my old house doesn't need to have hidden wiring that would have cost a lot more to install. Him and his associate were very courteous and knowledgeable about the work they were doing. The company's price was better than the other estimate I got and so that is why I went with them. I am extremely happy with all the work they did and would highly recommend them to anyone needing these type of services. I will definitely use them again.

The service was fine. Just one election came out and he was here for about an hour. It was a basic general house inspection. He was good and professional. They did have high pricing for their services that they recommended.

They were here on time for our appointment, the tech was professional, installed the surge protector quickly, and was gone. He did have to leave once because he didn't have the right equipment.

It didn't - they never returned the call.

The Big Deal purchase worked out wonderfully. There weren't any additional charges beyond the cost of the Big Deal purchase and there weren't any unexpected issues. The provider was very professional. He got everything done that he said he was going to do both inside and outside and did everything we asked.

I contacted LV Electric; in two hours I received a call from the owner, Bob Holland ( Master Electrician.) The repair and replacement took two days to complete. Bob and his co-worker were respectful, courteous and friendly. Their work was fantastic. These guys are perfectionist. They were also very willing to educate me on their work and current Allentown electrical codes. All work areas were cleaned up upon completion. The Angie's List discount saved me a good chunk of money as well. Bob maintained contact with me until the inspection process took place. I can't praise this company enough. Others could certainly learn a lot from Bob and his company. They clearly have professionalism, customer service and satisfaction at the heart of their company. Great job, L.V. Electric!

Great service! Scheduled, arrived, and installed promptly. A little difficult at first to get on the phone but once we did, very pleased.

Excellent. Bob and his team were extremely professional. He explained everything that he was doing, answered all of my questions in a straightforward manner, and finished the job on time and on budget. I was so impressed with his services installing my generator that I called him back to install some extra outlets in my basement and first floor. He is the only electrician I will use in the future. The price above was the approximate cost for both jobs.

I was very happy with my experience with Lehigh Valley Electric. I called to set up an appointment with Bob to review in general the electrical system in my house, to give me a quote for outdoor lighting for the walk that leads to my front door, and to install a dimmer switch in my dining room. On the day of the appointment Bob called me letting me know he was going to be late and game me a new arrival time. It was only a matter of 15-20 minutes and he met that new schedule, apologizing again for being late. Bob reviewed my entire electrical system for me and explained some of the electrical configurations I was curious or concerned about. He made sure I understood what he was saying and was satisfied with the explanation before he moved on. Bob looked at my yard as I explained the outdoor lighting I wanted and he made recommendations about light placement and style. A few days after the visit I received a quote by email, which I thought contained a reasonable cost, so we set up the appointment for the work to be done. All materials were supplied by Lehigh Valley Electric. The job involved digging up part of my front yard, which was done neatly. Bob and his crew disturbed the minimum amount required for the trenches for the wires and lights. The transformer was installed in the basement, also neatly and cleanly and in an area that is easy for me to access. Whenever Bob brought one of his team into the house, he always made sure he introduced me to the team member and told me exactly what that person would be doing while in my home. When they were finished, Bob went over the system for me and made sure I understood what they'd done. He also made sure the areas worked on inside and outside of the house were left as clean as they were before they arrived (given of course, the limitations of "clean" when digging in the dirt!). I love my new outdoor lighting - it looks great aesthetically and lights the walk really well. We used the light placement Bob recommended and we worked together to find the style of light fixture used. There's not much exciting I can say about the dimmer switch - but it works as expected so no complaints. I'd definitely use Lehigh Valley Electric again and would recommend the company to anyone who needed electrical work done.

Communication was a bit of a challenge (I used email) in coordinating our schedules, but he was consistent with responding back to eventually find a mutually acceptable time. He did honor the certificate even tho with various delays actual implementation went a bit beyond the date. |I think his special deals are a good price, with other estimates on high side.

It went very well, I think it was a little on the expensive side, but I would still use them in the future and plan to.

I had ordered the service and had them scheduled for Monday. However, my power went out and with the cold temperatures I really needed them to come out sooner, so I called them. First impressions mean a lot. With AAA you know you are going to be waiting an hour but that they are going to show up. It's a shame that two and a half hours after a service call they never called back or gave me an estimated time of arrival. I have a son with asthma and explained the necessity of them to hurry. The girl who answered the phone had no knowledge of triage, she didn't think it was urgent. I said can we make it more urgent and she said she left a note. She made me feel as if I was not being patient enough. I waited another 30 min and then picked another company. Update: Owner responded that he was out of town!! How irresponsible to not let his answering service know this information I wasted 3 hrs. Trying to expedition a service that wasn't going to happen that evening at all! My service call classified as after hours by the time I called West Side Hammer Electric. They were at my home & corrected the problem in less than an hour!

Bob worked with me to find an installation date that fit into my schedule. He was professional and the installation went smoothly. I would use them again.

It was okay. It was good. I would use them again. I was happy with the service. I spent more than the "Big Deal" amount.

Bob contacted me within days. He came by to survey the job and we scheduled pretty quickly. We had some re-schedules due to weather but that was out of anyone's control. Bob's communication was prompt and timely. Professional, friendly, and all details explained. Work was done in less than one day and everything was left immaculate, was very impressed. I some other electrical work that needs to be done and I plan on using this company again.
