+ -1 moreWhen I used them, my experience with them was very good. The gentleman, who came out for the initial consultation, was extremely professional and thorough. He came out exactly when he said he would come out. Overall, it was a good experience. They sent out another gentleman to do the spraying. Their office called to set up the appointment. My wife was at home when the gentleman came out. He was on time and straightforward. I will continue to use this company in the future.

+ -1 moreWe have a service with them and they just do a quarterly check of the whole house. They just check for any kind of insects or creatures of any kind and they replace traps and things like that where necessary. We just like their professionalism and that they are very thorough. We like the fact that we can call them in the morning and they are there in the afternoon if we have a problem. They are very reliable. We pay monthly. We are just very pleased with their overall package. We would absolutely use them again.

+ -1 moreThe gentleman who comes and helps us is David Sprank and he is great. He will do anything we ask for. If we have a problem, he will come back. They do a very good job for me. My father lived in this house prior to me and he had them for years. We would use their services again in the future.

+ -1 moreEHRLICH PEST CONTROL is dependable. They show up. They come up periodically with the standard routine. They go according to a schedule. If I need additional work they will come out with no extra charge. If you make a phone call on a Monday then they will be there on Tuesday.

+ -1 moreDuring the January 2011 visit, the technician inspected the house for signs of mice, rats, roaches, silverfish and centipedes, stink bugs, lady bugs, and cluster flies. Rodent bait was replaced in the cellar, and areas of the attic roof behind the paneling were treated for flies & lady bugs. In bad weather, the technician always puts on disposable shoe covers before coming into the house.
Description of Work: About 1980, we found carpenter ants in the house and called Ehrlich's to take care of the problem. We have used the Stroudsburg office of Ehrlich's since then and have their residential pest Home Protection plan. This plan provides a fall, winter, and spring visit from a technician to check the house and several outbuildings. We are notified in advance (by email) of the date and time of each visit. The company has always been very accommodating about any changes we need to make. The spring and fall services include spraying for wasps, hornets, yellowjackets, and carpenter bees. Of course inspection for termites and carpenter ants is done. In the winter, an inspection is made for indoor insects and rodents (we have an unfinished crawl space under the older part of the house, so there are sometimes mice in the basement). If problems occur between visits - for example, we have had pavement ants in the kitchen or have found new stinging insect nests - a technician will take care of the problem at no charge. We have had the same technician for over three years. He's familiar with our property and is extremely knowledgeable about both harmful and beneficial critters we find.

+ -1 moreLiked the service--we were with them for about 5 years--would still be with them, but we had to stop after a while (cost) and then wanted to start service again. They wanted to charge a completely new sign-up fee as if we were a new customer. Went with Terminix instead, but aren't nearly as happy with their performance!
Description of Work: Pest control--esp. ants, mice (we live next to a cornfield), and chipmunks (dig holes under foundations, especially a brick walk)

+ -1 moreI like the fact that no matter what little bug I see, if I call them, they are out here within 24 hours to re-treat the property. When they say they’re coming, they’re right on time. The customer service is fabulous. I think the price initially, to come out and treat everything, is $160. I am on their maintenance program, which costs $45 a month. I would rate them highly.

+ -1 moreThe estimator was very professional and explained the process in detail. They were able to schedule the work quickly, and arrived as scheduled. The service tech was also very professional, and seemed to do a thorough job. They had warned me that carpenter bees often return after the first treatment, but their work was guaranteed for 30 days. The initial treatment killed some bees, but not all. So I called after about 28 days and they immediately scheduled a second treatment at no charge. The same tech performed the second treatment, and I have seen almost no bees since then.

+ -1 moreEhrilch are truly the 911 of pest control. They answer the phone calls promptly & very courteously. The service men are extremely nice and take their time to answer all the questions one might have about pests, or their chemicals etc. Usually the same person is responsible for your house, so you feel there is continuity and they remember what problems you had in the past. And the best, if you suddenly have a problem on the inside or outside of your home they will send service almost immediately, sometimes the next morning. I am very pleased with the service and can say I feel safer that I won't have any pest, bugs, wasps etc problems.
Description of Work: Ehrilch provides pest control services for the interior and exterior of the house. They work on a per month base fee ($40 in my case), and provide application 4 times a year, plus additional service whenever there is need, included in the price.
