Description of Work: Removed Formica and backsplash and installed new Formica and tile backsplash. Removed wall oven and replaced with pantry cabinet that matches perfectly with existing cabinets. Installed new Allure flooring. Removed old wall fan and stovetop and replaced with stove hood fan and new stove. Replaced window trim in kitchen. Replaced sink and disposal.

Description of Work: this was for a complete kitchen and powder room renovation. Both rooms were completely gutted and built up again in a different design. The kitchen was down to it's 1922 bones. Josh and I had talked about what would be best for this space many times. As an artist I had some ideas of my own that I wanted him to bring to life and that meant that we had to trust each other. I relied on him to tell me, truthfully, what would work and what would not. In talking to him I knew that he could do whatever was needed and whatever the job turned out to be and I was right. Josh has a great work ethic. He wants everything to be as perfect as possible and is capable of doing really meticulous work. You can discuss with him any questions that you might have and he will be patient and considerate. One of my ideas was to have a washer and dryer installed and enclosed in a cabinet in the kitchen. The cabinet had to be custom made and the whole thing worked out just great. I was concerned that as I age, it might be too difficult to use the laundry in the basement. I'm very happy with the new kitchen and powder room and very very pleased how everything turned out.

 + -1 moreIt went pretty well. The only criticism that I have is that they just need to communicate a little bit better. As far as the work that was done for what was asked, was pretty well. Pricewise for what was done was a little bit cheaper than normal but beyond that everything was pretty good. He came back about a month later to finish it; it was one part that he had to order so it took a little while to get it in. In total they did the job probably for about three days or may be four days if we add it all up but it was over the span of a month and a half. When he came in here for the estimate he brought his girlfriend.
Description of Work: I used Custom Remodeling Services for general remodeling.

I came here to Angies List looking for somebody who was going to do my tub surround right and do a good job even though I wasn't spending tens of thousands of dollars. I usually do my own work and am very particular when I do something or have anybody do it for me, Josh definitely meets my standards! From the first phone call to the last, he stayed in contact with me through the whole project, answered all of my questions courteously and confidently and did exactly what I wanted done. He finished the project in the time frame that he stated and kept true to his estimate, no surprises. Josh let us get the tile that we wanted and did not pressure us into getting it from anybody that he recommended. Josh is definitely world class, if all professionals were like this, we would never have to write reviews!
Description of Work: Demolition of Tub surround remove old faucet and shower setup, install new faucet and shower setup, move shower head higher, waterproof, install tile with shelves and grab handle bar.

The crew from Custom Remodeling did a great job. Their work ethic was very good; they were always on the job early and put in a full day. They also did some plumbing, electrical, painting and structural work, all with the same great attention to detail. I would recommend Custom Remodeling for any of the a fore mention tasks.
Description of Work: We had Custom Remodeling install 450 sq ft Dura Ceramic flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway. We also had painting, electrical, plumbing ans structural work done.

Description of Work: Josh and his father are great! They are professional, meticulous and honest! I originally contacted Josh based on a reference from a supply shop. Since then, he's installed the hardware for my renovated bathroom / shower, an overhead shower vent, which was the best suggestions EVER, as well as a recirculation pump, etc. He has excellent experience and is willing to provide you the benefit of the that experience, by guiding you in the right direction. I'd someone else doing the tile work for the shower (also amazing work done there) but Josh suggested HydroBan and sold me his new container from his own stock. He also suggested and measured the shower door for me and placed the order with the supplier. I recommend Custom Renovations for any work you may need!!

He did a good job cleaning the gutters then installing the guards..even screwed them in place. We have been very pleased with the work done by this company and will continue to use them.
Description of Work: The gutters were blocked with debris. Josh cleaned the gutters then installed gutter guards all around.

He installed a new tile foyer, added a ceiling light fixture in my living room and painted most of the downstairs. I wish i had know him before i renovated my kitchen last year. I would have had him do the renovation.All his work is excellent. Josh is honest and i would recommend him for any home improvements.

Description of Work: We had this company remodel two full bathrooms.
