Phil returned my phone call immediately when I left a message for an estimate. I had a nasty leak in my 2nd flr. bathroom & roofer who did the repair told me my chimney was in need of repair. Phil was extremely knowledgeable & answered all of my questions. He showed up on schedule & communicated about everything he was doing. He was here early in the a.m. (as promised) & worked continuously all day. I live in a 'twin' & share the chimney w/my neighbor, so some coordinating needed to be done. He was very good about communicating everything w/my neighbor as well. Phil was in constant contact regarding exactly what he was doing and when. He found a few minor things that needed to be done on my side & my neighbor's (that weren't included in original estimate) and took care of them - AT NO CHARGE! Who does that in this day & age? Obviously, he takes great pride in his work & will go the extra mile to make the customer happy & be sure that the job is done RIGHT. I repeat myself, but who does that in this day & age? I can't tell you about some of the shoddy work that has been done at my home over the years and it was obvious the contractor could've cared less about the work they did. They only wanted to get it done and get paid. Phil is most certainly not like that!!!. I recommend Phil DiMaria with a '12 out of a '10'. You will definitely be pleased with his professionalism, punctuality, work, & communication.skills. I would definitely use him again & hope that if you need chimney repair, reconstruction, liners, etc., you call him. You definitely won't be disappointed. Just so there are no misunderstandings, the total cost for the job was $2200. My neighbor & I shared the cost so each portion was $1100.

A representative from DiMaria came to my house to give an estimate. Shortly after the estimate visit, I decided to schedule the work. My phone calls were not answered and I never received a response to my voice mails.

On the initial call, Phil was very professional and checked all the stone supports and recommended repairs on these also for almost no additional cost since the cement would be mixed and it only added a little time. After removing the weight of the porch and porch roof supports from the pillars, two of the pillars were virtually rebuilt and Phil kept the cost to the original agreement. The process required 2 seperate visits. Both Phil and his mason were polite and kept a clean work site. You can tell by how they spoke to each other that they respected each other and made it very comfortable to leave these men to work around my home. I have since recommended Phil to my customers and the feedback has been 100% positive. I feel comfortable enough to stake my reputation on Phil's professionalism in word and deed.

They quoted a price promptly and were the lowest of three bidders. They showed up when promised and the work was done quickly and professionally. We were pleased with the finished results and recommend them highly.
