Perfection

We found a mysterious gray and then blackish spot on our vinyl floor near our toilet. A leak had cause mold to grow under the flooring. We visited Wilsonville Carpet & Tile and explained our situation to Mark (we did not want anything fancy, just to fix the problem). He immediately pointed us to his remnant section of vinyl. We found a piece we thought would work and arranged for Mark to come and measure our bathroom later that same day. It turned out the vinyl piece we had pick was not big enough so we revisited the show room the next day and Mark pointed out pieces that would work for us. We selected one and scheduled the install for the following week. The installer showed up promptly at the scheduled time. Once he got the old vinyl removed we found that there was additional mold and ants in/under the subflooring. He gave us instructions for what to buy to treat this. My husband went and bought the supplies and returned with them. The tech proceeded to apply the ant killer and to prime places with mold. He made a template from the old vinyl and took it back to the shop to cut. (And allow time for the primer and the ant killer to work/dry and become safe for him to work in that area again.) The second day, he again arrived on time and finished up the job, including replacing the sub-floor with plywood instead of the particle board the builder had used. He re-installed the trim and added some caulking. Lastly, he suggested using a kickplate under our cabinetry instead of caulking where the floor meets the cabinets because it would look better (and it does). Overall we were very happy with the results and with how this job went. Initially, I wasn't too excited about the price because we were using a remnant and it wasn't something I would have picked otherwise. However, even though there seemed to be a bit of extra work, they still stuck to their original estimate. Unfortunately, I didn't get the installer's name to give him a shout out,but he was great. I don't feel really comfortable with people being in my house but he was very nice and friendly and great with my dog (which earns extra points from me!).

Mark was most helpful with the product selection process. Not at all pushy. Explained the pros and cons of products and let me make up my own mind. Provided useful guidance with color selection. Installation crew did good job and went the extra mile to accommodate accessibility issues.

We needed new carpet tile installed the week before Christmas because of a new home purchase. From start to finish, Wilsonville Carpet and Tile were great. The showroom is stocked full of samples and everything is labeled with the unit price. After selecting samples that interested us, Mark met us at our home and took some quick measurements. We were able to look at the samples we had selected in our home to make final decisions. He gave us a quote that same day, which was an all inclusive, no surprises quote for everything. The day installation was scheduled, the team showed up right on time and got to work. The team was very professional and hard working. I never noticed them taking breaks, no music was played, and they were very polite. I really enjoyed having them in my home and watching them transform our ugly carpet to beautiful new carpet. The amount of work they completed each day was amazing. Our home is 2500 sq ft which is almost entirely carpet. They removed all the old carpet and installed new carpet in just over 2 days. It looks beautiful and after living on the carpet for 2 months we are still thrilled with the installation. We also had tile installed in our master bathroom. The tile installer also blew us away with his work ethic. He worked all day cutting and hauling tile and also never seemed to take a break. He even worked Christmas Eve so that we could have our home finished by Christmas. When installing new flooring, I highly recommend Wilsonville Carpet and Tile. They were eager to meet our time frame, the installers were wonderful (and clean), and the company stands by their work. Pricing was about the same as other companies we looked at, but the service was much higher.

I went to Wilsonville Carpet to ask their opinion on what options I might have in recarpeting my apartment. My cat had a urinary tract infection that I didn't now about until my allergic to cats sister-in-law came in briefly one day and said "Yeww." Of course *then I could smell it. Don't know for sure how long it had been going on, but at least long enough that I simply can't get the smell out. I've had the carpet cleaned by the property management company, then paid for having it done by Cloud 9 (Lake Oswego, *great job), but the problem is too pervasive for spot cleaning and their citrus-based cleaning couldn't handle it. It's cat, and there's just no solving it in this case. Anyway, I went to Wilsonville Carpet for advice. What a nice man, sympathetic, truthful about qualities/price, said almost certainly the property managers wouldn't allow an independent installation. But he spent a good amount of time with me in discussing options, info on alternate flooring like laminate, helped me understand the qualities of various carpet, estimates of pricing for my square footage, etc. I knew from local reputation that these folks at Wilsonville Carpet are highly thought of and highly recommended. I can only say that I affirm those thoughts based on his whole demeanor. I'm sorry that I can't do actual business with him! Neat guy.

Our bathroom floor was cracked, so we needed to get the project started quickly. Wilsonville Carpet & Tile was incredibly responsive to our needs, and they accommodated our emergency scheduling. Their employees helped us through every single step, and they were fabulous to work with. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Wilsonville Carpet & Tile Company did a perfect job of installing the tiles. Their craftsmanship stood out the most to me. Mark, the owner of the company worked with us on trying to stay within our budget. He planned the work accordingly. He also helped us select the materials and tiles. He supervised the entire project and was here almost every day. He didn?t need to be but he still was around. The workers on the job were his employees and were not contracted and they were just amazing. They were really professional. I would consider using them in the future.

They came out and measured my newly purchased condo for carpeting in 3 rooms. It had been previously carpeted and they explained how much tack strip we should leave and what we should remove. After giving me an initial price, they were able to reduce their installation price in order to match an estimate we had gotten from another place. I did have to call them to confirm the installation date, but on the day, the installer arrived promptly.

The estimate was detailed and broken down into options like I requested. I did feel like they thought I was a cheap skate because ever time I aksed about an option they told me it would add to the cost. I ultimatley used another company because I could talk directly to the installer and discuss multiple options without going through a middle person.

They were a referral from a friend. I don't know off hand how much they charged me, but their pricing was reasonable. They did a good effective job. The person laying the tile was very good in attending to detail. It did take longer than they had estimated by several days. It was something to do with the sub-floor that was unexpected and it took longer to dry. It took maybe five days instead of two. The job was well done. I would probably use them again in the future.

They?ve done everything in my house. I went somewhere else and I was really unhappy so I went back to Willsonville. I deal with the owner so I know him. I just walked in and asked him if a type of flooring was available so he called the supplier and confirmed that it was. He already has my measurements but he stopped by after he closed to check and see if I needed a new subfloor. They are a really good place and they've always been good with pricing. The quality is good and if there is a problem, he fixes it. They are always on time and professional.

Was fantastic and so glad I had it done. I them do a bathroom 8 years ago and I knew when it came to tile or flooring that I would go anywhere else. They were just excellent. My Sister had them do her carpeting and she was more then pleased that's how I found out about them. And a job done right really makes a difference.

We contacted Wilsonville Carpet and Tile about three weeks in advance. Although the schedule got pushed back a couple of days, the workmen arrived promptly and worked very efficiently. Garland, the tile installer, was careful to protect all floors in other rooms. He did an expert job of aligning the tiles, sealing and cleaning up. Mark, the owner of Wilsonville Carpet and Tile, visited the job a couple of times to make sure of our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the final product and would definitely use this company again.

The work went very quickly and efficiently. The installer,Donovan, was friendly and competent. He did a good job of clean-up. We were pleased with the completed job.
