Wilsonville Carpet & Tile

We thought perhaps we had heard Mark wrong in the store, but one week later the carpet installers, Abbey Carpet, have been here. They moved heavy furniture, used power machinery and left the carpet looking brand new. They told us that the cost had been covered by Wilsonville Carpet and Tile, so we owed nothing. We were amazed at this kind of courtesy and service. They have certainly earned our future business.

Using our design wishes, the owner, Mark WIlliams, in addition to giving us professional advice, performed demolition, installed tile floors, tile shower floors and walls, tiled walk-in bathtub surrounds, backsplashes, and over saw the quartz counter acquisitions, including sinks. His professional advice was well considered and I sure saved us a lot of money. I have nothing but praise for all the operations as performed. They were done in a timely fashion with minimal expense, and careful attention to detail. The tile setter, Rob, is an artisan, a pleasure to work with, and a careful caretaker of his workplace. The result is magnificent.

From start to finish the process went perfectly. Job was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. I highly recommend these guys.

Wilsonville Carpet and Tile did an outstanding job on our bathroom. The workers were friendly, skilled and efficient in getting their work done. The quality of the work was outstanding. Mark kept us informed, and answered all our questions, and came by regularly to check in with us on the progress of the job. Only critique is that sometimes the expected arrival time of the subcontractors was not known - but overall, the job went great. Would definitely hire them again to do another job in the future. It was great! I had looked at Home Depot and Lowes and both were booked way out for installation plus their prices were higher than I could pay. So we decided to go locally to Wilsonville Carpet and Tile. Amy was extremely helpful, she showed me a remnant in the back that was just like the one I had picked out elsewhere. Plus it was less money and could be put in within a couple of weeks. When he came to measure he gave me a bid on more flooring which I will do later. We are extremely pleased with the carpet and the professional men who installed it for us.

Prices quoted were high. Owner spoke to my husband and basically ignored me. Since I was the decision maker, needless to say we went elsewhere.

This group is experienced and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier, so much so that I am having them do my kitchen. I gave the "quality" a "b" rather than an "a" rating because of my choices in product selection. I did not go top of the line with flooring but am quite pleased with what I had installed.

I have used them for 30 years in our other house too. I would give them an A. I have had carpet done by them. I have had bathrooms redone by him. I have used them for everything. At my other house we had new floors and tile in the kitchen.

They've done everything. In the bathroom, they did the tile. And if they don't do it, they get their contractors in to do it. Mark Williams is his name and he is wonderful.

He is very trustworthy. He is an A+.

Installation was started within a week of intial discussions. Installer was excellent and did a great job and it looks great. We are very pleased.

Excellent, quality workmanship. Matt is certainly a professional. Prompt and efficient with great attention to detail. The bid was very reasonable and we really appreciated the flexibility to change the grout color when the one recommended by the manufacturer did not match well.

From beginning to finish, Wilsonville Carpet & Tile made the process of design and construction of a replacement shower easy and enjoyable. The selection of tiles and accents was huge, with something for everyone's taste, and store personnel were helpful without placing any pressure. Everyone who came out to the house was friendly and professional, and the owner, Mark Williams, was very helpful and responsive. Schedules were met on time, if not ahead of time, and they were very neat, and cleaned up after every stage. I highly recommend Wilsonville Carpet & Tile. In my opinion, they are the best!

I have used Wilsonville Carpet and Tile for several projects in my home; both large and small. This project was a smaller one but they always treat me as if it was a $20,000 remodel. Mark and his employees are professional and his store has a great selection of materials. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It went great. We were greeted immediately, they asked our needs and they provided recommendations. Highly recommended. We will use them again.

Mark was very responsive to all our requests, gave us an honest estimate (not the lowest quote, but we trusted him more), he called us in advance to let us know when the workers would be there and followed up diligently. We got three estimates, his was in the middle.

The guy was rude and condescending the entire time. A month later, I decided to still go with him because I just didn't have the time to find someone else. I drove all the way out to wilsonville to look at what carpeting he had to offer and he had thrown away the measurements for my estimate. This guy was unapologetic and just acted like me and my mother should leave the store. This guy is a real piece of work.

WE went to this business needing to buy a lot of flooring, for a major remodel. At first we looked through the remnant area, It had a lot of carpet in it but none of it would work for us. We asked for bids on some other flooring and some tile work but never got a return phone call. We even called back a couple of times before moving on and spending more than 15000.00 on flooring elsewhere. The store was very nice and the person working there was very professional and helpful. We just never got to talk to the person that would give us a bid.

Wilsonville Carpet and Tile did not perform any work for me but I did speak with Mark, the owner, about a job. Angie's list is the reason I called them due to their good reputation here on Angie's list. I have never given a poor review prior but I was so surprised by the conversation I wanted to share it. We replaced the counter top in our kitchen and need the tile backsplash installed as well as a new tile floor installed in our laundry. I spoke with an individual at Wilsonville Carpet and tile when I called and they said they would have Mark call. He did call that afternoon. I began to describe the job to Mark and the moment I mentioned we had already purchased the tile for the backsplash he immediately interrupted and said two words "Not interested" I was a little shocked by the comment. I hadn't even mention the tile floor job yet. I quickly assumed he made the statement for one of two reasons; either the job was too small or he makes good margin on the tile so he doesn't want to use client purchased tile. Either reason would be fine and reasonable if he would simply have said that I would have understood. I asked him if it was either of those reasons and he said no it was that "if there were problems with the material and they didn't supply it, it can cause too many problems on the back end." That as well seemed reasonable. However, here's the rub... I then mentioned the laundry room flooring project and he then said "well if we do the other project then we would do the backsplash" As you can imagine, I was a little confused. Now that the job was bigger all of the sudden the client owned tile wasn't an issue? Hmmm..... When I mentioned that he said "Well we're 7 weeks out anyway so if you want to wait we would look at doing it then." I simply said no thanks I will contact someone who might actually be interested in the job. My real issue is the abruptness and unprofessional manner in which he immediately interrupted and said the two simple words with no explanation, "not interested." And then when there appeared to be more money in the job he all of the sudden wasn't concerned about the back end problems the client purchased tile may present. I completely understand if a job is too small or not profitable enough for a company but I would expect that a professional organization would simply say as much. It's Okay, there are plenty of companies and individuals out there that thrive on small jobs....

We did a complete remodel of our master bathroom. Mark, of Wilsonville Carpet and Tile, was the coordinator of the entire project, including recommending and coordinating with the plumbing contractors and arranging for a sheet rock company. He was very helpful and patient in the selection process (granite tile and floor tile) and explained how each step of the project would be completed. He gave me a three week time frame and the project was completed on time and with superior craftsmanship. Rob did all the tile and granite work including building a new and enlarged shower. He arrived each day when he said he would and worked continuously throughout the day only taking time for a quick lunch. His work is impeccable. I can't say enough good things about this company. I would not hesitate to use them again and would give them my highest recommendation. We are very happy customers.

The experience went very well. We had used them before in a previous location. The owner is very knowledgeable and he is not pushy in talking about the products available. He will tell you the pluses and minuses and then leaves it up to you to make a decision, he isn't pushing a more expensive product. I think the pricing was reasonable.
