My experience with them was fantastic. They were so professional. they did such a wonderful job. I would recommend them and use them again. I have already talked to them about doing some other work for me.

This company does excellent work. They arrived on time and worked very flexibly around our schedule. They had to work around the installation of our pool. The carpenters were professional and had great ideas, including the garden box and attention to detail to many aspects of the deck. We were very impressed with the outcome and would recommend this company to anyone.

No project since they did not respond.

The team that did the work performed their tasks in a timely and professional manner. over 130 fit of custom fence we are extremely pleased. The craftsmanship and quality of work has brought very complementary comments from neighbors and passers by. Great job! If it is a fence you want built give these folks a call. They are well worth the price.

The crew showed up as promised and completed the work within 4 hours. Replaced material was taken away.

Mitica came to give us an estimate, he was on time, and was very helpful with ideas and understanding of our needs. The crew that works for the company has been working for them for years and they know what they are doing. They did a beautiful, great job. They were extremely pleasant to work with, were always on time, completed the work in the time they say they would, and even fit us into their schedule sooner than planed so we could have the fence done only 3 days after we moved into our new house. You won't be disappointed with their work.

We have lived in our house for over a year and we didn't know what to do with our oddly shaped and neglected backyard/patio. We decided that a deck would make sense and wanted to incorporate it with our hot tub. We called a few places to try to get bids and ideas. Mitica answered the phone (other places never returned messages) and set up a time to come over. He measured everything, asked us questions about what we wanted, showed us samples of his work and materials, and while he was talking he drew the deck on a bid sheet and gave us a price right there. He explained the cost and differences between hardwoods, composite, and cedar. He was extremely professional, polite and direct. We were a little shocked at the price and he said that was normal and suggested getting other bids, but to look closely at what we were really getting. He simply said that he would build us a beautiful deck and that we wouldn't be disappointed. We talked it over and decided to go for it based on Mitica's honesty and directness. We scheduled the job and Mitica showed up with his team to go through the plan with them. They were all polite, relaxed, on time, and knew exactly what they were doing. There was a problem with how our hot tub was placed (not their problem at all) and John pointed this out and came up with a solution. The original design had two attached benches, John also suggested making them free-standing to give us more flexibility. It was a great idea. We came home from work one evening and the deck was just done. We couldn't believe it. Everything was cleaned up and it looked amazing. The workmanship and attention to detail was obvious. Mitica called after a few days to see if there were any problems and to see if there was anything that was not to our liking. We are delighted with our beautiful deck and with how easy it was to work with top-notch contractors who care about their work and their customers.

So here's the job recap: Remove 100' of chain link fence, construct cedar fence to fence in 2 separate back yards and gates. These guys did it in FOUR DAYS! Seriously, they worked some seriously long hours (and in the rain, although if you don't do things in the rain in Portland you never do them at all). Details about the fence: clear cedar lumber (no knots, really good quality) picture frame style so no one sees a bad side, decorative lattice top on the sides facing the street and decorative brass finials on the posts (really adds a nice finished look). The posts are only set 6' apart so we won't have to deal with sagging or leaning fence panels. As I said before, really good quality materials, excellent craftsmanship. The fence was done quickly and efficiently and they built it by our specifications. The job was completed when it was supposed to be and they cleaned up everything great. The fence is absolutely beautiful.

He and his crew (John and John) did a fabulous job. They are artists. The deck is gorgeous, stronger, and a bit bigger than the original. I asked that it be as close as possible to zero maintenance, and he recommended iron wood. The railings are ironwood tops and bottoms with black-powder-coated aluminum balistrudes (the vertical members). John and John cooperated with the painters who were simultaneously painting the exterior of my house. They worked rain or shine, and they worked fast. The original deck had the vertical supports touching the ground and surrounded with a small amount of concrete. The new deck has the supports elevated above the ground several inches, resting on deeper, wider concrete pads.

It was a complex job because when we got into replacing existing deck floors, etc. We found rot and had to review the project. They worked with us to figure out the best solutions and we ended up with decks and front stairs, that are like pieces of furniture. They are so beautiful! They were committed to our job, completed it within 3 weeks and went out of their way to make certain everything was perfect. I recommend them without hesitation.

Creative Fence did an excellent job removing our old fence and installing a new fence. We have received many compliments on the fence from neighbors and are very pleased with how it turned out. The crew was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and did a quality job. Overall, the entire process went smoothly and we would definitely use this company again.

This was really a job well done. The estimate was timely, the materials delivered an hour before the work began, and the crew was great. They worked very efficiently and were gracious at all times. Care was taken to avoid damaging the many plants in the work area and when finished the debris was cleaned up, bagged and hauled away. I'd recommend without hesitation.

I researched four companies before selecting Creative Fences. I was not satisfied with my previous choices that I researched through the telephone book and friends. I finally signed up on Angie's List to see if I could find a better company and I am sure glad I did. One thing I really like about Creative Fences is the professionalism and respect of its employees. With other companies, I felt like I should accommodate their needs, instead of the other way around. Creative Fences was on time to start the job, kept me informed of its progress, and called me afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. The best part of the entire experience is the quality of the workmanship. The fence looks great. It was completed a lot sooner than I expected.

This job went very well. The workers were very professional. The job site was kept clean and safe. The work started and finished on time and every detail was dealt with. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone. In particular, they were very responsive to our large scale changes in the job specs and re-scoping of the work (we are the worst sort of customers that way).

I was extremely impressed with Mitica's follow through. I often felt bad that HE was checking in with me and doing a better job of following up to make sure everything went smoothly than I did. The completed deck is a WORK OF ART! The craftsmanship displayed by his crew is stunning. The joinery and miters would look appropriate on fine cabinetry. Because of the time and effort required to be so precise, my only caution would be to allot a reasonable amount of time for the work to be completed. Overall, I would highly recommend Mitica and his crew to anyone looking for a deck to be proud of.

About 40 feet of my fence had fallen down in a recent storm. I called a number of companies and while Creative Fences wasn't the most inexpensive, they were the fast available. They offered to come out the following Thursday and were finished by noon. The work was well done and professionally done. The representatives were friendly and informative.

I knew when I met with Mitica that he was the guy for this job. He had great ideas and seemed very excited about helping us fulfill or vision. His estimate was reasonable. Mitica s crew worked in miserable conditions but managed to do an incredible job. The end result was a well made beautiful fence.

This company was wonderful to work with. We had to keep putting them off because of difficulties with our neighbor and they went out of their way to try and help us find a solution to the problem. In the end, we got the most beautiful fence imaginable. Because of the added height we needed a permit from Washington County and when the inspectors came out they were all very impressed with the workmanship of this fence. I would strongly recommend this company for any fence project you might have. Even though we haven't used them for a deck, etc. I'm sure the workmanship would be equally as good as our fence and we look forward to working with them again.

Mitica arrived on time to deliver a quote. Quote was handed over at the conclusion of that first visit. Overall, we solicited four different quotes; Creative was on the high end. However, time was important to us: Creative Fences was able to install within two weeks. Also, our neighbors two doors down had used Creative. Once we sent in our deposit, a 3-4 person crew was able to come out two days later. The fence was completed within three days; workmanship and materials are very good. Workers made an effort to minimize wear on the lawn.

Deck was finished in one day and needed to come back another day to finish cutting for an access opening for the gas line. Very professional in approach and excellent craftsmanship.

It was about a month wait after our initial contact but well worth the wait. Construction only took about four days with two men. All debris was cleaned up before they left.
