Description of Work: I very much liked the company's representative and reputation and would have hired them. However, I received a bid from a comparable company at a lower price for a better shingle.

Description of Work: The cost was high, but in line with other companies. |The final cost was as quoted. The workers were very hard working. Cleaned up as they went. No loud music, though that would have been okay. Very respectful of me, and kept me informed as they went. The company appeared to be very reputable and capable. |There was one aspect, an odd-appearing flange (if that's the word) that looked a little funky. I was told they'd come back and make it look better, but that never happened. It does not appear to jeopardize the integrity of the roof, just has a little funky in appearance.

Description of Work: we had 2 leaks fixed with tin shingles mounted under cedar shakes....and new seals were put around 2 vents. Temporary fix only, wound up with a new roof a few months later

Description of Work: I was more than dissatisfied with the communication and execution of the services. I tried for two weeks to set up an appointment to get an estimate. I sat around for an entire Saturday waiting for the guy to come to give an estimate only to find out after several calls that I was not required to be home. The man who was suppose to come to the house never did come that day. He said he would come the next day and email the estimate a few days later. A week later I had not received an estimate email. When I called to check on where we were at in the process the receptionist had not information on whether the man had come to my house or if an estimate had been done. I decided against continuing to persue this company to complete my gutter and roof cleaning.

Description of Work: The deal said they would check the roof and give a $100 credit for repair work. They have been in business a long time, so I figured they know about all things concerning roofs. I took the deal on August 5, 2015. They contacted me by phone on August 10th at which time I learned they don't usually work on manufactured homes. I have a triple wide manufactured home on its own land in a regular residential area. I also learned that repair of my skylight didn't fit into the "parameters of the deal" so the assistant had to talk to her boss. They got back to me today, August 13, saying they would be willing to come out and give me an estimate. So it seems my problem doesn't fit into their deal and I'm not comfortable with them giving me a "waiver"....they'll make an exception in my case.....I want someone who knows and has experience with skylight repair on a manufactured home. I don't want someone who's "winging it" and if they don't usually do manufactured homes, the final cost (from their estimate) will be more than someone with real knowledge and experience would charge. I need my $225 refunded. It seems I have to put in a service date above to submit this form although nothing has been done except phone conversations.....so I'm putting in today's date in order to submit this form. Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a new roof replacement with 3-D shingles. The company came out for the estimate and they quoted $14,000 for the replacement of the roof. Due to their high prices, we've decided not to use the company. Their customer service was phenomenal, but they sent the estimate in an email and the pricing was a shock to us.
