There were some difficulties getting the slate pavers, but this was primarily an issue with Lakeside Lumber and not Pacific West Roofing. The work took longer that I had anticipated. We found carpenter ants underneath my deck and extensive damage to one of the support beams. Beams and insulation had to be replaced. This was not entirely unanticipated so the project took more like two weeks than the initial one week estimate. Stan was here almost every day checking on progress and extent of damage. I had to pay an additional $70.00 per hour for the carpentry work, but I had known that right up front. I am very pleased with my new deck

It went great. I called Pacific West Roofing because i had a leak in my ceiling after heavy rains. They scheduled me for the next day to come out and see what needed to be done and give an estimate. Stan came out, looked at the ceiling leak, then got on the roof and found possible water entry points. He then looked in the attic (which is difficult since i have a very shallow roof line) to see if there was any damage/dry rot. He found none. He went back on the roof, caulked around a vent pipe and possible other areas. He also checked another area of my roof when i pointed out that there was wnater coming down the exterior siding at one point. Stan was knowledgeable about my roof and its materials. I would definitely hire Pacific WEst Roofing again.

It went well. They came highly recommended. I plan on being in the house long term so I wanted the best person to do the best job. They gave the most comprehensive bid. There were no surprises, what the estimated was what I paid. Other companies were very vague with their bids.

They were great! The price was not the lowest, but I was happy with it. Stan gave me some advise because I had some moss on the rest of my roof. He helped me out with a product to use for that, and it worked really well. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I stayed home from work during the project. The first day, they did tear off, deck and other replacement, and workmen stayed until 8pm to finish the new roofing. The work was finished on the second day. Clean up was done each day. The gutters/downspouts and soffit vent work were done later by sub-contractors who performed as professionally as did the roofers.

They were on time. They were personable. They were courteous and kind. They were professional. The price was fair. I would use them again in the future. I would recommend them to anybody.

They did an outstanding job. I got quite a few estimates, and theirs was one of the lowest. Very professional and on time.

The work was completed in the promised time frame. The workers were efficient and pleasant. Reasonable clean up occurred.

They were a great company to work with?

I emailed Pacific West Roofing Monday evening requesting an estimate to repair our roof which was leaking due to the recent storm. I left both my home and cell phone numbers. I received an email that evening advising a representative from the Company would contact me by phone the following morning. As of today, Friday, I have not heard from them.

We had tried several other companies. One company before them tried to repair it and was unsuccessful. It was nice to finally get it repaired.

Alton Maddox came to the house, on time, to give me an estimate. He is a very knowledgeable, honest and down-to-earth person. As we walked around the house, he explained how PWR does roofing. For example, they use extra heavy tar paper under the shingles. I was impressed with their quality approach. I had some additional requirements, and they accommodated me. Alton noticed that my existing insulation was pushed up against the soffit vents, blocking the ventilation. He came up with a cost-effective way to push the insulation away, allowing air to flow in. My previous roofer never mentioned this. Alton also made sure that the skylights were installed correctly. He improved upon my original plan. Brian was the foreman on the job. He was also very good to work with. Coordinated well with me as the job was progressing. PWR did an outstanding job. The house looks great. I'm very grateful to Alton for all his help.

HIGHLY DISSATISFIED, COMPLAINING TO BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL

Excellent. First, the bid was $8000 under a competitive bid, and in the end there were no extra charges. Everything went smooth. Good communication. An issue came up with some extra boards under the gutters. After some friendly discussion, it was included; great! Friendly, curious workers. Cleaned up very well. Respected our privacy.

We woke up at 5 AM the Saturday before Christmas to water dripping into our guest bath. Later that morning (it had stopped raining so the leak had stop temporarily), we called about 8 companies and only got answering machines. Pacific West Roofing's recorded message gave 2 phone numbers for emergencies. Since they are located close to our house, we tried their emergency number first and were immediately in contact with Stan Robinson. Stan came out that afternoon. He determined the problem was a skylight that had apparently leaked for the previous homeowners and been poorly repaired. He dried it out and re-caulked it. Three week later everything seems fine. Stan also suggested a better way to permanently fix the problem. In addition, he fixed a small problem with a roof vent, pointed out some other areas of the roof to keep an eye on, and gave us advice on how to fix a leak in an exterior garage wall (no roof related) and what to do about some gutter issues.

They were very punctual, gave me a good estimate, but it was not something I wanted to have done. They were very straightforward and honest.

This crew did an outstanding job. Craftsmanship was the best and clean up left the grounds better than when started. The company did what it said it would do and more. Any problems that came up were clearly explained and expertly resolved. This was a messy job because of the three layers of roofing to be removed. The guys hand carried all the debris in garbage cans across the roof to a waiting dump truck. Very little made it to the ground.

Their bid came in way above everyone else.

Very pleased with staff. The work crew arrived on time every day. They were polite, and made every effort to keep the site as clean as possible. They paid close attention to preventing damage to plants close to the house. Quality of the work and materials was excellent.

As already reported, Brian went out of his way to get by my place to give me an estimate for the work that was needed. Just as importantly, he scheduled the work for the very next day, and the fellow who did the work did an excellent job. (Because my roof is quite steep [14/12], sometimes its a little difficult to get somebody to go up there to do needed work.) Pacific West takes care to make sure that the customer is satisfied with the work done. Although they are a little more expensive than some others, you can count on them...that's worth the little extra that you may have to pay. I would definitely recommend Pacific West Roofing, and I would use them again without hesitation.

VERY PLEASED. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND NO SURPRISES. EVEN THEIR EQUIPMENT WAS NEAT AND TIDY AND THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND IT'S THE TYPE OF SERVICE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE. THEY WERE WILLING TO WORK WITH US. WE HAD A LOT OF CARPENTRY THAT WE COULD DO OURSELVES AND THEY WERE FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO FIT US IN THEIR SCHEDULE WHEN WE NEEDED MORE TIME FOR THAT. THEY WERE ABLE TO WORK WITH US AND THAT WAS NICE. WHEN IT WAS RAINING, WHEN THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT, THEY FINISHED THE JOB UP FOR US AND EVERYTHING STAYED PRETTY DRY CONSIDERING THAT IT WAS RAINING.
