It went well. The 2 men who performed the carpet cleaning were thorough and very professional.

Went well. Technician showed up on time, treated stains and traffic areas, cleaned carpet. It dried quickly, looked great afterward. I would use Curtis-E again.

My rug didn't look too much different than when they came. It wasn't dirty but one thing was that they left a spot at the very end of the rug. The rug goes into my bedroom. I noticed after they left that there was a real black spot and I couldn't get it out. I actually sandpapered it. There wasn't much I could do. There wasn't anything that would take it out. I have to just ignore it. I'm not sure that I would have them back again. They were timely in coming out.

He skipped most of the corners in my home. I wasn't happy with the service. His hosing leaked and he would stop and talk to me and the hose would leak on the floor and I had wet spots for days.

I guess you get what you pay for. What I got aside from the great price and supposedly clean carpets was a ton of water on all my carpeting and stairs for literally 4 days. I had towels everywhere trying to soak up the residue from the cleaning. yes it was clean and smelled great, but the over abundance of water was ridiculous. It squished when I walked over every spot where it was cleaned. I've had another company clean my carpets in the past.. 2 man crew who moves furniture; cleans; moves furniture back and puts little squares underneath legs as needed and you can literally walk on it without feeling any moisture in a couple of hours. I guess that was what I was expecting with this and was really disappointed, because none of that happened. I've hesitated this long to review because I knew I could not give a good one, but that's what Angie's List is about.

I appreciated Chris's energy and professionalism. He assessed my carpets and made recommendations accordingly. As an optional service, I chose to have him rotor the carpets (which is a technique that gives lift to carpet fibers). I'm really glad I went the extra mile with that service. The carpets look great! Chris worked very h****** the carpets; for me :-)

This is the 3rd time we have used Curtis-E carpets and they are always great. This time they called about an hour ahead of time to see if it was ok to be 30min early for the appointment. They arrived exactly when they said they would, did a quick tour and then provided great advice for how to tackle the issues we had. This company has the friendliest, most helpful employees of any carpet cleaning company we have ever worked with. I always give them approval to do whatever they think is best regardless of cost and they advise for using some chemicals or services and against others despite it lowering the overall cost which is not in their best interest. Once they were setup it took maybe an hour for all the work to be done. When they were done the carpet looked and smelled great. I will always call this company when I need my carpets done and have advised all friends and family to do the same. Great company.

Great value and exceptional service. Service oriented - even gave us an idea on how to fix a rug area that was coming up from the floor. Efficient, effective - will definitely work with Curtis'E Carpets again in the spring. Very pleased.

The technician was prompt, professional and incredibly informative. He gave us a free upgrade (which we'll now most likely purchase in the future) and offered some tips on how to keep our carpet looking its best in between carpet cleaning services.

They were very fast. Did the whole house quickly and throughly, but the carpets took several days to fully dry even with windows cracked.

He finished in less than 2 hours. All the spots on the carpeting were removed, and he explained that the carpeting would take 4 to 6 hours to dry completely. Explained the terminology used on the paperwork he left with me, in case there were any problems.

I received a call 15 minutes before appointed time that he'd be arriving on time or perhaps 10 minutes late. Jake arrived promptly, was very courteous and friendly. He looked over the carpeted rooms and asked if there was anything else I'd like him to do, so I added in six upholstered chairs for him to clean at an additional price of $5 ea (Angie's List deal was $99 for entire home carpet cleaning!). He did an amazing job, was very careful with his hose around my flowers, wallboards, etc. I had one room with several pet stains, etc where we'd planned to rip out the carpet, but he was able to get most of the stains out! He offered to come back if any of the stains came back up to the surface, just to call him. He completed the job in about 1 1/2 hrs. I highly recommend Jake and Curtis E-Carpet Cleaning! I will definitely have him back next time.

Justin did an absolutely fantastic job. He arrived exactly on time, not late, not early - perfect! I had moved most of the furniture out of the way but what I didn't he gave me a quick hand with (small stuff). Our carpets are now beautiful and clean once again! The couple very small stains we had are gone and the house smells great. The job was done right and I appreciate it. This is my best 'Big deal' purchase to date. I want to specifically recognize Justin. He was completely professional and friendly. I couldn't ask for more. It's because of his great service on this visit that I'll use Curtis E-Carpets again next time (asking for him of course). I can't overstate enough the value that's added to businesses when they can find, retain and employ great employees like Justin.

We have used this company for years and have always been impressed. The courtesy of the staff and the carpet cleaners is unparalleled. They always arrive on time, are careful with our furniture and going around corners with the hoses and we receive reminders for our yearly cleaning. The price is amazing. We would highly recommend Curtis-E Carpet Cleaning.

Chris arrived right on schedule and did a fantastic job of cleaning carpets in great room, hall, 4 bedrooms and stairs. Such a friendly and capable worker that we would definitely use Curtis-E Carpets for future works. Carpets look great!

Curtis is a kind and thoughtful person. Very knowledgeable about his craft. Explains in detail. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would certainly recommend him to friends and family.

The person was late arriving, although he did call to let us know. We are not at all happy with the outcome of the service. The room that he just stretched still has ripples, although he did reduce the ripples. Where he re-tacked the carpet at the doorways, it was very untidy. Even after I vacuumed up the little pieces, it still looks ragged. I expected much better. In the room that he stretched and cleaned, most of the ripples were eliminated. But the carpet is only marginally cleaner. We had him go over it again, and that made a slight improvement, but not much. He did not offer to pre-treat the more heavily soiled areas. Also, he did not clean behind the door. The room in which he cleaned a major traffic path also was not much cleaner afterwards. Again, he did not offer to pre-treat the more heavily soiled areas. This carpet was left very wet, and with major ripples. Those seem to be decreasing as the carpet dries, but we had to bring in additional fans to facilitate drying. When he finished this room, he immediately took all of his equipment out to his truck. I felt like he didn't want to give us a chance to point out that it was still dirty, and ask him to go over it again. We chose this service, because I had worked with them many years ago, and I was very happy with their work. I checked the reviews on Angie's list, and they were positive. But when my husband called the company today to let them know how unsatisfied we were, he learned that the company has changed ownership (or management - I'm not sure which). From reviews we've now looked on other sites, it appears that they have good service people, and bad service people. We apparently got one of the bad ones.

As others, we bought a $99 Groupon deal. The company called a bit in advance of our appointment, asked if it was OK to come early, we said yes. They were professional, courteous, and did a fine job on some difficult old carpeting. They did discuss with us a couple of and quot;up-sellsand quot;: $25 for added whitener, $25 for stain repellent. No idea if they were worth it, but we do know it's looking good. As is common in this kind of cleaning, the carpets were left a bit damp, but were dry to the touch within a couple of days.
