Description of Work: David has been maintaining my 2009 MAC for several years. He is delightful to work with and goes above and beyond with the service he provides. He comes to you so you don't have to lug all your computer stuff around. How nice is that? (very). I try to have him come over about once a year to fix all the little things that have piled up and see if there is anything he can do to improve my computer. On his most recent visit he upgraded my hard drive to a solid state hard drive. Now my computer runs super fast and I don't wait around for applications to open. He updated my operating system, and installed new software to stop ads coming up. Every time I call him I just keep my fingers crossed that he is still willing to come to help out the single user working from home.

+ -1 moreDavid arrived at the time we agreed upon. He was here a total of 2 hours, and the price was really reasonable. The best thing he did was, he will now be able to access my computer from anywhere, and solve the problem remotely. This is essential for me, being a writer, sometimes things are an emergency and I need help ASAP. Definitely using him again. He'll be my Mac computer guy from here on in.
Description of Work: My Macbook Pro and my desktop Mac Pro has numerous glitches and problems. David got right to work, and within minutes, determined what the source of my problems were. He guided me to a website to buy the appropriate RAM upgrades, and the airport card I need for my desktop. I also needed to increase my internal memory and, after looking at the options and prices, David told me they were priced too high at this time, due to problems at the manufacturer's site, which had created a temporary shortage, driving the prices up. He advised me to wait until prices came back down, and in the meantime, I could use my external 1Tb hard drive until then. He then helped my mother with her iMac, doing some routine maintenance.
