Kepler's Upholstery & Furniture

I stopped by Kepler's, looked at their samples of upholstering fabric. took some samples home, and made choices. An appointment was made for their representative to come out and look at the couch and loveseat I wanted reupholstered. They came to my home and we discussed fabric and price. Because it was near Christmas, we decided it would be best if they began the project after the holidays. I didn't want to be without furniture over Christmas, and their schedule for the job was eight to ten weeks out. When the fabric came into their shop, they called me. After the holidays, they came out and picked up my furniture, and then in a couple of weeks called to set up the time for delivery. The couch and loveseat are beautiful and the material used is excellent. Because the furniture is high quality, and the perfect size for us, it made sense to reupholster, rather than buying new furniture. I am so pleased with the job that Kepler's did, I would recommend them to anyone who wants to reupholster. I love it.

We had our seat cushions for our dining room recovered. The work was done well. We were aware of the long wait when we brought the cushions in. I would use them again, we live out of state (WA) and because of their great reviews on Angie's list thats where we brought our business. I thought the price was a tad high, but then again I haven't had anything reupholstered. You get what you pay, and these turned out very nice.

We were told the fabric was in stock, then we were later told it was on back order. When we picked up the chairs, the backs of the chairs were not constructed correctly. The owner, Marvin Ankele, repeatedly told us "he didn't understand" what we were talking about. Since he just kept repeating he didn't understand every time we tried to talk to him about the problem, we just gave up trying. We never able to get him to fix the chairs.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kepler's.

They're fabulous. They had excellent reviews on line. That is why I hired them. I just moved back into my house after renting it out for 2 years. I've had people in and out constantly since June of last year. I am completely pleased. I will use them again in the future.

I spent $1000 with them. I like everything about them. They have been around forever. They did an excellent job. They are very precise in their work. It is costly, but it is worth every penny. I will use them again in the future.

They did a beautiful job on the loveseat and a lovely job on the chair. They know what they are doing and are very no nonsense. If there is something that will increase the price of the job, they call and consult with you beforehand . I will be going back to them.

From the initial email to the visits in the shop, to post calls/emails; everything has been fantastic. They are quick to respond, very helpful and willing to do the research to make sure I'm happy. Great company that I will continue to use. Kaelish is indispensable resource for them.

They were very helpful in choosing fabric and trim styles. I was unable to bring in the actual couch frame for them to match, and they went with my measurements. The cushions ended up a little too short, and the shop remade the cushions at their own expense. They were very pleasant and understanding to deal with, even though it was a difficult situation. I think that this level of professionalism isn't common these days. I highly recommend them.

They did a good job -- were punctual and up-front about the costs, but were VERY expensive.

It went great. Kaylish was very helpful in giving us plenty of demim options for our couch. The work took about a week and is beautifully refurbished. Marvin and his crew are real craftsman and take great pride in their work. Have had it home about a week now. It is very comfortable and we have had alot of nice compliments on it. Thanks to all!!

From estimate to follow-up to delivery all was as expected

I rate them high overall. We have always been pleased with them. They have done a lot of upholstery work for us. I will use them again in the future.

Very easy going and accommodating from the initial contact by phone. Explained problem, received ballpark estimate over the phone that explained their pricing model, whcih seem very fair. Offered pick-up and delivery, which was not needed, but upon arrival at the store in my vehicle, they insisted on carrying the chair in themselves. Same when I went t o pick it up. They did the loading. The over-the-phone estimate was confirmed in person, and the final bill was spot on. Excellent quality of workmanship and work completed earlier than promised/expected.

Kepler's did a wonderful job on our sofas. The talked to several upholsterers before choosing Keplers. Their price was competitive and their customer service was far better than the other places we went. Kepler's spent a lot of time helping us choose the best type and color of leather. They let us take samples home so we could be sure we made the right choice. Kepler's was very good about telling us the different options and the cost of each so we could get exactly what we wanted. The work was done quickly and the sofas look fantastic. Kepler's did a great job.

Furniture was inherited from mother in-law who passed away. My wife had the relationship with them and was very pleased.

The print fabric was matched perfectly and looks terrific. The mohair fabric on the loveseat also looks very good. Where we had trouble was in the filling for the cushions. I asked for down covered foam expecting soft seating. What I got was seat cushions that sat far firmer than I wanted. They replaced the foam with what I was told was the softest foam available. It was still very firm. Finally we went with all down which I had to pay extra for. That was a big mistake. I never got the original down wrap back, and didn't expect to need it. When I took the cushions to an upholsterer I had used previously, I had to buy a second down wrap for much softer foam. I finally got the cushions I wanted, no thanks to Keppler's.

Work with the owner or interior designer - great customer service. My experience with the manager was very negative and not at all focused on the customer - one of the worst examples of service I have had. He later apologized.

I was expecting the cushions to be firmer that what I got. They did the job on time and there were estimate was correct. There was no damage to couch.

Abided by quote and timeframe for completion. Quality work - ours was a small job to complete. Obvious Mr. Kepler took pride in his work. Would certainly recommend and use his services again!

It went great - hopefully it will not break again. We do not know where the original springs were placed and can not duplicate them since they were more than 100 years old the last time they were repaired somewhere else.

The number of fabrics to choose from was excellent. Their work was superb. My only problem was that the project was projected to take 3-4 weeks but took 5 weeks without any communication about the delay. This was relatively minor and my overall impression of their staff is very positive.
