They weren't the cheapest, but the price was reasonable and I liked that the salesman was not pushy. They knew what they were doing and the work went fairly smoothly. There were a few communication things that could been more clear. I work at home and at one point the workers asked me for clarification on whether an old fan was being removed and whether a newer part of the roof was being replaced. There were also some miscommunications about the skylight - it didn't get special-orderd until the job began, and then when it came it didn't open - something I thought we had been clear about. The owner said they would make it right and they ordered another one that did open. There was no argument about whose fault it was.

I bought a house that is a fixer. It was originally remodeled by DIYers. There are some funky things. The two rooms that were added on looked to me like the roofing material was not present. I was thinking there should be shingles. JBC Roofing looked at it and emailed me that it was torch down roofing, they don't do that type of work, but that it was installed correctly but the finishing metal work on the sides was incorrect. I appreciate the assessment, the information and most of all the honesty! No charge, nothing for them to do. Thank you for steering me in the right direction. I would absolutely call him again because this experience tells me that he is someone to trust.

I had mold in my attic, another company suggested replacing the whole roof. JBC came in and told us we didn't need a whole new roof just additional ventilation and someone to come in and clean up the mold. The total cost was much less than replacing a whole roof. This was the proper solution rather than replacing the roof and not addressing the mold. They were great to work with over the course of getting bids, the customer service is great. The work crew was very friendly and efficient.

Working with this company was a great experience. The project was delayed because of weather issues, which is understandable with a roofing project. JBC told us, though, that if any leaks developed, we should call and they'd cover the area until they could do the job. (My belief is that a leaky roof moves to the top of the list.) Once they were able to proceed, they arrived as scheduled. They came mid-day and started right to work; returned the next day and finished the job - it's a smaller house. At first we didn't notice this, but then realized there were two small dents in the gutter over the garage. I phoned the office and "Michelle" said she'd send the foreman to look at it. A couple of days later, she phoned back and said the gutter would be replaced. It was just a matter of a few days when we came home from work and found the new gutter installed. (Quite honestly, I expected some runaround, but the response was just the opposite.) The new roof looks great! Yes, it would have been better if the workers had noticed the dents, but we don't consider that a problem at all. The true character of the company showed in their responsiveness and thoroughness in rectifying the situation. Michelle is a fantastic representative of the company; and there's A+ follow-through with whatever she says will be done. I have already recommended JBC, and will continue to do so.

From start to finish it was a great experience! I called to set up the appointment to have JBC look a the area and give me a quote, they were able to meet me the next day. Jaime was very nice and professional. He looked at the water-spot inside the ho use and then spent time diagnosing where it was coming from. He even took pictures to show me the area when he came off the roof so he could explain to me what was happening. He gave me the quote that day and was able to fix the problem that day too! I will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof or area fixed.le

Everything went really well. They tore the roof off in one day and put it on the next. The only thing was it was a little inconvenient for me to drive to their office to run my credit, because there was a 2% fee to do this over the phone. Other than that, I would recommend them to others in the area.

The roof repair team arrived 5 minutes early on the scheduled day. They were professional and completed the job in about 25 minutes. So far, everything looks to be OK but it has not rained since the repair.

They worked fast and finished the entire job in 2 1/2 days. They cleaned out my gutters and hauled away all of the debris. The only quibble was that they had to be reminded to pick up roofing nails that fell to the ground and were missed during the first cleanup. I had a couple of conversations with Brad Chisholm, the company president, and was impressed with his willingness to work with me about my concerns. I commend JBC Roofing LLC for the fair, fast, no nonsense way they do business.

We are very happy with the job that JBC did for us. We contacted them a couple of years ago when we were originally thinking about replacing our roof. We had several companies come out to give us bids and when Brad took a thorough look at our roof he told us that we did not need a new roof yet, we could probably wait 2-3 more years. We had 5 different companies give us quotes and none of them told us it wasn't time yet. This was our first very good experience with them. We think that shows the honesty and integrity of this company. Flash forward 2 years, and we call again to start getting quotes for roof replacement this summer. We had a small leak and knew it was time for a new roof. We received a quote from several companies and while JBC wasn't the least expensive, they certainly weren't the most expensive. When Mark came out to give us our quote, he told us the leak wasn't coming from the roof, but instead one of our second story windows which wasn't sealed correctly. Mark took the time and caulked our window for us, fixing the leak. We hadn't even decided to us JBC yet and they fixed the window leak for free. Wow! What service! We decided to use JBC in December and we were told that depending on the weather, we could expect the roof replacement in April. They did not even ask for a deposit, they told us that they don't collect payment until the job is complete and we were happy with the work. We received a call the first week of March, and because of the mild winter, they were ready to replace our roof. They came in on Thursday, completely removed all shingles, replaced any plywood that needed to be replaced, cut the new ridge vent, and applied the moisture barrier. Friday they put on the new shingles and did the finishing work. Saturday they came back and finished up the final clean up. The crew that worked on our roof was wonderful. They were very nice and very professional. Each night, when the crew was finished working, they completely cleaned up the yard and work area. They even blew off the dust from our porch each night before they left. The work is very good quality and we just couldn't be happier. We highly recommend JBC to anyone out there looking for a new roof

After finding that water damage in our family room was not caused by upstairs plumbing, but by a roof leak during a very rainy week, I called 4 different companies trying to get immediate help. Unlike the other companies, I was able to reach someone at JBC on the first try (instead of leaving a message), and she scheduled an appointment. John came out and was very professional. He took photos of the damage, inspected other areas of the roof and gutters, provided an estimate, and returned to repair the damage the following day. We are very satisfied with the work, and would definitely call them again.

This small project went well overall. We're impressed with their business practice and how they responded to customer's request. Mark inspected my roof and gave on-site recommendation based on what needs to be done. The crew missed some spots in the 1st run, came back and completed the work with materials in the holiday week. No extra cost to us. I highly recommend this company to others.

They were professional from the start and actually got on the roof to look before they gave an estimate. Not every company that came out did that. They were great at explaining the different types of roofing available. We had just had the house painted and they were careful not to scuff it up as they did the job. They replaced a board that they thought they had damaged at no additional cost. I appreciated the fact that they were quick and efficient and cleaned up thoroughly. The roof looks nice and after all the recent rain and wind we were pleased not to have to get out buckets! I was happy to recently recommend them to a neighbor and would use them again in 30 years ( life expectancy of roof) if needed!

They did a wonderful job and they were a delgiht to work with. Their estimate came in half of what their competitiors were. THey were willing to work with us to save us the most money possible.

Great! JBC replaced the roof on my house a year ago so I called them again when the garage needed a new roof. JBC does top quality work and gives you good value for the price. Brad, the president is very knowledgeable and has the highest standards. He assigned Sergio as the lead on my job. Sergio is a high quality guy who takes enormous pride in his work. He did a great job and I really enjoyed working with him. They removed the old roof, replaced sheathing that had water damage, installed a new PVC roof with vents and installed Hardi T-111 siding on the parapet walls and painted the siding to match the house. The finished job looks so good, it looks like you could use it as an elevated deck to throw an outdoor party on it. Last year, when I replaced the roof on the house, I interviewed 9 roofing companies. None of them were in JBC's league. That's why I called Brad again. If you need a roof and want to do business with an extremely high integrity, professional firm, you have to give JBC a call.

Owner came out when he said he would. Spent time to examine proposed repair. Sent quote in timely. Price not the cheapest or most expensive of 5 quotes I received but because of Angie ranking, suitable price and professional matter of handling my concerns and overall gestalt of the owner of this firm--went with him. Two day project, cleaned up everything, workers worked hard completing the task, called back because I was not satisfied with total appearance of competed work. owner sent crew back--everything handled well and quickly. No issues since repair--great job on my repair.

JBC removed the existing cedar roof, installed sheathing and flashing and put on a new composition shingle. They installed a solar tube and subcontracted the installation of new gutters. Overall, the job went very well and we were satisfied. I received 5 quotes for this work and they varied over +/-10% even though I had each company quote the same shingle (Certainteed Presidential). I probed into each quote going over all the details. Brad came out twice to go over the quote and walk the job. In the end, their pricing was very favorable compared to the others. They got a later start on the job due to early rains and it rained hard at the end of the first day while they were stripping the roof but they tarped it over and we did not have any problems. The job was done when the promised and the gutters were installed two weeks later. Their crew was friendly and courteous and addressed all of our questions and concerns. The tried to protect all of our shrubs and our deck but we experienced a couple broken branches and in hind sight it was probably not the best year to stain the deck before having the roof job done. The cleaned up very well and I believe I only found one or two nails. The only significant thing that came up was that one of the crew members dropped a paint brush while touching up some trim. The brush hit our front door and the paint dried on our very red door. The problem was noticed by our neighbor before the crew noticed what had happened. I was not to happy about it when I called JBC but Brad made it right by having a professional painter come out the next day, remove the door and repaint it with two coats. They handled this problem very well. We are very happy with the solar tube - it brings in far more light than anticipated. The jury is still out on the gutters. I am not quite happy with the pitch on several of the sections. They tend to hold water. The caulking material used in the corners was applied rather thick and holds back the water from freely flowing. Overall - we were happy with JBC and they did a good job.

We had a roofing repair needed that was affecting our first floor in our home (vs. the 2nd floor which is right under the roof.) The JBC contact checked inside and outside the home to determine the problem before going up on the roof. He instantly figured out the source of the leak and repaired it in minutes. He showed me photos on his phone to prove that the repair work had been completed. Outstanding service. Will definitely call JBC Roofing again.

The whole job was very smooth and professional from start to finish. I received a detailed quote. The work was performed and invoiced according to the quote. The workman finished the job in 3 days and cleaned up after they were done. The quality of the work was excellent.

The entire process was handled well and we were very pleased with the overall experience . We would not hesitate to use this company again.

I was VERY pleased that they responded immediately and had two guys up on my roof within two hours of my call and twenty minutes after it stopped raining. They spent about an hour up there removing shingles and flashing to inspect the area and found that it was completely dry and that the flashing was not the culprit after all. Not only did they do this at no charge, they also were able to spot an area of missing mortar between the top of the chimney and the concrete cap which seemed to be allowing the water to migrate back into the area where the metal chimney comes up through the brick and of course then it just ran down into the fireplace. So of course I was very pleased not only with the initial job, but also their prompt and professional follow up work to make sure that I was happy and their company's job had in fact been well done. OK - So now it is the day after I wrote this report and I find an unexpected bill for $100 in my mail. Forced of course to amend the straight A's I had given them yesterday since they didn't mention that they would be charging me to inspect their work. Would have been nice to know when I called them!

Outstanding! I was prepared to spend thousands for a new roof as I had discovered a leak. The company sent someone out, they were punctual and very professional. They went up to roof and 20-30min later came back down with pictures of the problem...worn out gaskets and fittings around the exhaust ducting. They said this was a common problem and they could fix or replace all the gaskets / sealing and a few popped nails for $175.00! Thanks JBC Roofing for not taking advantage of a new homeowner, you have earned a customer for life.

The company was very prompt in getting back to us with a bid and started the work approximately 1 week later. The cleaning job took two days and they did the repairs on the third day.

After meeting with Brad, I knew he was the right choice as he was very thorough, meticulous in his appearance and clearly more professional than the 8 or 9 other roofers I had spoke. His team started the work on time and completed it in about three days as my mother had a deadline she needed to meet for her homeowner's insurance. Brad walked the roof and got personally involved in the job as well as proposing the best way to deal with the the dry rot.They used plywood to protect the house but some old shingles struck the siding leaving marks and small dents in some of the siding near the back porch. Brad and his team worked very hard to rectify this and he was extremely fair and businesslike in resolving the issue.You may be able to find a roofer who will give you a low-ball bid but none will deliver the value, quality, integrity and customer service that JBC will. I strongly recommend JBC as they are head and shoulders above their competition.
