Furniture Repair and Refinishing, Wood Furniture Repair, Flaw Removal Through Full Refinishing, Structural Repairs. All work done on-site whenever possible. Flaws may include water marks, heat marks, burns, abraded finish, pet chews, etc. Structural Repairs may include loose chair joints, broken legs, failed hinges, broken components, etc. Full Refinishing includes stripping, staining, top-coating (lacquer or polyurethane.

I have never received less than an “A” on pricing. You’ll see that if you continue to read my reviews. The “B” in this instance was due to the fact that the customer was not aware of a significant component of her job. The project was to restore and refinish an antique sewing machine cabinet. In addition to the normal stripping, sanding, etc., there was a piece of the cabinet that was entirely missing and needed to be replaced. Replacement involved shopping for a piece of oak with a compatible grain pattern, cutting it down and shaping it, staining it to match, applying a sheen to match, then attaching it to the cabinet after first repairing the surrounding wood. This was an involved process and raised the price beyond my normal charge for simply restoring/refinishing. Because the component was tucked under the front edge and largely out of sight I don’t think the customer even realized that the work had been done.

Description of Work: Ryan came over to fix some dings/scratches in three pieces of furniture. He did an excellent job, has a great eye for matching colors, and worked hard to make the furniture look as new as possible. I am very thankful someone with his expertise is around - definitely makes me stress less about having nice furniture with three kids in the house.

Very professional.
Description of Work: He talked me out of getting 6 dining room chairs refinished. I'm grateful for his honesty. But he did a beautiful refinish of an Ethan Allen chair from my husband's childhood. It's gorgeous now.
