Description of Work: I purchased a $99 deal for Interior Auto Detailing & Exterior Handwash Package. I took my Mercedes in for servicing. The service went fine. I think they left the heater running and when I picked up my car the belt broke. I was not able to drive my car away at that point. They did exactly what the deal stated. They did an okay job with the detailing.

Description of Work: I purchased an interior/exterior detail package. I could have done a better job myself over a couple of hours on the weekend! |I received absolutely foul customer service, the car looked like it had been run through a self serve car wash, the interior was barely cleaned and the rear hatch security cover was stolen. |1.The person behind the desk told me the business would call me when they finished. They didn't call when car was finished - I called and was told the car was ready, when I arrived an hour laterI found the car parked in the parking area, the hatch and doors were open with the floor mats piled in a crumpled heap on the oily dirty asphalt. |2. The carpet and floor floor mats were to be shampooed. The carpet and floor mats appeared to be only vacuumed. A I easily removed food and water soluble stains after I returned home with dilute soap solution. |3. Most of the interior plastic was covered with water marks that appeared as though someone with a wet filthy rag wiped the entire interior without rinsing the rag. It was really evident across the speedo/odo, warning lights display and interior and exterior mirrors. I removed all using a moist, frequently rinsed cloth. The remaining rinse water was opaque gray when I finished. |4. The upholstery was only vacuumed. The small amounts of soiling from general use and a few food stains were easily removed with the same dilute soap solution. |5. The exterior had water spots and the wheels were dirty. |6. The worst of my experience with the Ace people in Beaverton had to do with the loss (theft?) of the rear security hatch screen. It was missing and I didn't realize the situation until I returned home- after the shop closed. The following day I called, the person in the office denied it was missing, I told the was was driving to their business to retrieve the hatch screen. When I arrived there was no hatch screen and for the longest time no one would even acknowledge the possibility that they lost(?) it. Eventually, I was told "that they would looking for it", next I was told that a part-time employee had detailed the interior would know where to locate it. I asked them to call the person and was told the part time employee didn't have a phone(?). I was also told that there had been 5 Priuses detailed that day and most likely my security screen was in one of those cars(?). Then another employee came to speak with me, to his advantage he was unable to understand or speak basic English. I asked to speak with the manager (then he understood my request) and another person arrived. I was assured by that individual the hatch security screen would be found and returned to me in 3 days time. I informed that person the I thought the security screen was taken due to the high replacement value (OME cost being $350.00) and if I was enterprising enough I could probably find it on CraigsList. Three days later I returned for my original security screen only to be handed a replacement screen made of a lesser quality plastic sheeting. I knew it wasn't my original screen - a scratch on the metal portion on the top of the screen retractor, which I had caused by hauling lumber, was missing and the underside of the area used to pull and release the screen was missing my oily thumb print! I accepted the fake replacement, thanked them, and left the business hoping I wouldn't find anything else missing from the car. | | |

Description of Work: Appointment on wrong date. Charged extra for polish and small SUV rate. Nothing special. Would not return.

Description of Work: Detailed the interior/exterior of car. Only one reason I choose Ace Car Reconditioning. They are exceptional. First time I have used the Tigard shop. I have already scheduled my wife's car. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: They did a good job, but missed certain things. There was a grease spot on the seat that they didnt even try to get out until I showed it to them. just would like a more through inspection of the vehicle and we would be all set.

Description of Work: Ace did a great job of waxing and polishing my car - something I should do more often! My car looked great - paint looked brand new! I'll definitely go back again.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $99 for Interior Auto Detailing & Hand wash. I was unable to get the service done in the allotted amount of time. I called them and they extended out the time period for me to use the deal. They were very gracious and said to come on in, however, I never ended up using the service.
