We had to drive a long way to take advantage of the service. The only less than perfect thing was that our appt had not been entered in the computer. The man working that morning got on the phone immediately and called Eric. Came back and asked if we had planned to leave it. Of course that was the plan. They took the car in and we took public transport downtown Portland for some shopping. They called when the job was done and back we went. Our 2001 Toyota RAV 4 looked fantastic. Almost like new. They cleaned and shined everything. The exterior finish was gleaming. Now all we have to do is keep it washed for that like-new shine. Great service. Would definitely recommend.

I don't know any way to get someone to be courteous enough to keep a 1st appointment.

The whole experience was great. Very prompt at getting me in and performing the work. Their work was excellent, my car looks brand new. My car is 4 1/2 years old and had never been detailed before. It was plenty dirty due to my toddler eating and drinking in the back seat, you would never know it now though! I would recommend their service to anyone and I will definitely use them in the future!

It's a small shop and I wasn't sure what to expect but the service was friendly and couldn't have been more professional. I got a loaner car that looked like it was showroom new. I didn't plan to have them do any exterior work but Eric said he thought that they could get some scratches and dings out so I agreed. The car was ready on time and looked incredible. Understand that I haven't really cleaned this car in 12 years. Now it looks like I just bought it. Dozens of little nicks and scratches are completely gone. The carpet and vinyl look new and so do the tires. Every crevice was thoroughly cleaned. You hardly ever see this kind of pride of workmanship these days. And it was a real bargain.

The only problem was getting in touch with them. The first time I tried it was easy. Eric answered immediately and we set up an appointment for an estimate. I couldn't find the shop although he gave me precise instructions. When I called to let him know what happened, I left a mesage and called several times after that without a response. We finally connected and everything went smoothly after that. The workmanship was excellent and it was completed before the time expected.

Our Land Rover is about 15 years old now and has been parked under a douglas fir tree almost its entire life. There was so much tree sap on the outside that I didn't think there was any way they would be able to get it all off. We have also taken it camping almost every year of its life, hauled firewood in it, and have never had it detailed until now. Long story short: it was in dire need of some attention and was quite dirty. There was also a tear in the leather of the driver's seat near the seam and couple chips in the window. Eric charged me $289 for the detail, inside and out, which I thought was reasonable given the shape it was in. The 2 windshield chips were $50 and the leather repair was $75. But he is a master in his work. The leather seat looks good as new, the inside of the vehicle is flawlessly clean in every nook and cranny, and the outside is shiny and pretty. It looks like it is brand new! Every spot of sap was removed without a trace. The only minor problem is that now the headliner is starting to come down in a couple spots at the edge, probably from the steam cleaning, but I am bringing it back in a few days and he'll glue it back up before it starts to come down everywhere. Phenomenal job! Eric was professional and friendly through the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone!

My expections were not to high as the condtion of my auto was not that great. My vehicle was beat up with door dings all over and a bumper all trashed. Not to mention the car is black with scratches all over from going through the car washes.It was a really nice Mercedes when I bought it brand new, but you'd never know it when I brought it into to Eric's shop. But 3 days later...It was better than Good...I was shocked when I saw my vehicle! It looked brand new like the day I bought it!

I knew that some things were not going to come out looking new, but that we really needed to do this for her to keep her in good shape. She looked super sharp when done. The cost had made me hesitate before, but I'm glad I did it. We will definetely have her on a maintenance plan and come back. They were courteous, thorough, and gave a ride to the MAX. I feel so much better every day when I get in and drive.

Awesome. They were responsive, friendly; did a great job. And seeing what they do vis a vis detailing, I'm bringing my other car in for that service soon.

They did an excellent job in a timely manner. The experience was good. They gave us a ten percent Angie's List discount, which was very nice. They were very courteous, very helpful and fast. They did a great job. They were comparable in price to the other detailers in the area. They didn't come to the house and a couple of the other detailers would have. This one had a little bit higher marks and a little lower price so I went with them. I would definitely use them in the future.

The entire process was smooth and simple, as it should be for such a minor incident. The most tedious part was going around to get two other estimates, both of which were higher. One was $130 higher, the third was over $500 higher! I dropped the vehicle off on Mon morning and the owner Eric called Wed night to tell us it was ready. ACE is a low-overhead operation in a low-overhead location, but the quality of the repair was top notch and professional.

Excellent service. Eric (the owner) answered the phone (no answering machines!) I made an appointment and had him give me estimates on 2 vehicles - both were quite reasonable. I dropped off the car and it was ready when he promised with all work completed as agreed. The car looks beautiful - the paint job is undetectable to the eye. The leather bolster looks great. The car has never been so clean since we bought it! I'll be bringing additional vehicles to him even though I live on the east side and his business is in Beaverton (he's one of the few auto detail and paint/leather repair businesses that I could find with good ratings and Saturday hours.)

Purchased a used 1997 Toyota 4Runner from a private seller. The seller had used some sort of strawberry smelling cover-up spray combined with other strange smells so I needed some serious deoderization. The truck also has a salvage title meaning it had probably gone uncared for for a time as the auction companies tried to sell it, I imagine. I called two companies at the recommendation of fellow Angieslisters. The first company didn't pick up so I left a message and the second company was ACE. They answered on the first call. (to be fair, the first company did call me back 10 minutes or so after I left the message) I needed someone right away since I had a trip coming up and the Christmas holiday fast approaching. ACE met my screening criteria, they were relatively close as far as driving distance goes, they were able to service the truck that day, promised it could be done by the end of the day, and they said they had a loaner vehicle... so I decided to go with them. The guy warned me up front that the loaner vehicle was their "parts" vehicle, not their normal loaner vehicle. The vehicle was a Ford Expedition. True to his word, the loaner wasn't in perfect condition, but I appreciated that he was willing to loan it out to me when the other loaner vehicle was already being used, it didn't sound like something they would normally do but I think he sensed that it was a strong selling point for me and he solved the problem creatively to keep my business. It suited me ok, but I wanted to include this part of the story just in case other Angie's list readers run into a similar situation. The owner called right at 4:30 before their 5:00 closing, which was the time he had projected it would be done. The truck looked great and smelled great too when I came to pick it up. All plastics, seats, and carpets were as clean as could be expected given the condition of the car to begin with. Some stains were too set to get out and he was up front with me about that before I even looked at it. The sealed exterior paint spots were a pretty good color match, as good as one could expect. Price was good with the Angieslist 10% discount. This was my first time getting a car professionally detailed so I can't really say if the price was really that "good." Honestly, to me it seems a bit spendy to even get a car detailed (hence my B grade on price), but considering he was able to get it done in a day (same day service) and basically set the reset button on the interior of a car with unknown history it was worth it. Later on after taking the truck home, I noticed one of the seat back pockets had not been cleaned. It still smelled of strawberry and had bits of garbage in it. Also, under the drivers seat I found remnants of the previous owners, one or two sunflower seed shells. Because of those misses, I docked the professionalism down to a B. The rest of the work was high quality though, so overall those misses were minor in my head. If I had taken it back I'm pretty sure he would have remedied the situation, I just didn't want to take the time.

Flawless. I went to Eric and got an estimate for some paint damage on my car. His estimate was half what the insurance body shop wanted. He performed the service for exactly what the estimate was and completed the job on time.

I had a fantastic experience. They did a great job. My car looks new! They also transported me to the MAX train so that I could go to work. They get my highest recommendations.

Overall very nice experience. Very professional, good quality, and fast. The price of the detailing has increased quite a bit from the last time I used them (new ownership) and I think the detailing alone is too expensive now. But the dent repair is very reasonable, so the combination of detailing, scratch and minor dent repair is still a good price. The people are very nice to work with too.

I was impressed with the paint touch up work and clarity of the clearcoat polishing since the vehicle, despite good care, is starting to show its age. The interior was immaculate though when I later got on the road it looked like most of the interior glass was not cleaned really well. There were streaks in several areas that probably should not have been missed. I overlooked this because the rest of the job was so well done. The only issue involved a plastic insert in the dashboard cupholder popped out when they were working on it and was damaged when it fell out of the truck. The part, though pretty useless, cost over $200 to replace. Eric told me about it upfront and said he would find out the cost to replace it and take care of it. He found one on ebay though it has been about 2 weeks and I am still waiting to hear from him. That closure will be the final measure of the service level and commitment to customer satisfaction but I think Eric will keep his word. Otherwise I am very satisfied as he generally exceeded my expectations on the results. And that is not easy to do. I would recommend you give him a try if looking for a turn key service experience. Would be especially good if looking to trade in your car or sell it privately. It will enhance the value of the vehicle. I believe they also provide a ride to work or home if needed though I did not require that service. Overall I am very happy with the job done by Eric and his staff.

Contacted Eric and made an appointment to bring in the vehicle that week. He said that the dent was right on the borderline of something that could be fixed with paintless dent removal - that it could be greatly improved, but would not be perfect, which was fine with me. The vinyl split was in an area that was under high stress and that any repair he did probably wouldn't last. I appreciated his candor and honesty and had him only fix the dent. The truck was done on time and removed approx. 95% of the dent. He touched up the paint where it had cracked. The end result is noticeable only if you really look at it and MUCH better than what he started with - and I tend to be very picky with my cars. His pricing appeared to be less than what others were charging. I am very happy with his services and would use him again.

Eric is very professional and did a great job. The car detail was nearly perfect-only a little bit of dirt/dust in the crevice where the hatchback seats into the chassis. The interior looked brand new when he was done and the shampoos and cleaners did not leave a "perfumey" smell - everything smelled fresh, just as Eric said it would. As an aside, I was pretty grouchy with him because I had just discovered raccoons on our home's roof and could envision a lot of $$$ flying out of our bank account that month. I'm sure I must have been difficult to deal with, but he didn't show even a trace of irritation. He just gave me a warm smile and was good humored throughout our entire transaction. He demonstrated outstanding customer relation skills.

In preparation to sell our minivan I went to Angie's List to find someone to detail it. Our van was in decent shape, just in need of a good detailing. I was impressed Ace had so many positive reviews. I called and spoke with Eric and asked him for an estimate. He asked if there were any concerns with the vehicle like bad stains in the carpeting etc. I told him there were a few stains in the carpet but nothing major. I told him my main concern was door scuffs and some scratches on the paint. After hearing this he told me it would be $260. I made an appt for the next morning. Upon arrival I met Eric and we walked around the van. One of the first things he said was to ask me if I wanted the engine done as that would be another $30. He hadn't even looked at the engine at this point. I thought it was lame he didn't tell me on the phone that the engine was not included. I told him not to do the engine. I then point out some of the scuff marks on the paint and he said he thought most of them would buff out. I pointed out the largest scratch mark, which was about 3 inches long, and he said some of it would not buff out but that for another $30 they would go around the van and apply touch up paint wherever needed. Again, I thought this was quite lame that he never mentioned this on the phone, when I had specifically told him there were scuffs and scratches. I agreed to the extra $30. I mentioned I had found Ace on Angies List and Eric said he would go ahead and throw in the engine cleaning without charging me the extra $30. I was glad he did this but it should have been included to begin with. When we picked up the van I had very high hopes considering all the glowing reviews on Angies List. Unfortunately they did only a good job, nothing great. For $290 I expected more. We walked around the van and found several minor areas they missed. The area around the Nissan emblems in the back was still dirty, there was a glob of tar or something still stuck to the front bumper, the windshield had water spots and was smeared, there was some lint debris on the carpet that needed to be vacuumed up and there was some gunk on one of the seats that need to be wiped off. I was disappointed, especially considering I still felt like I was mislead on the price quote. And the 3 inch scratch? Still quite noticeable. So I'm not sure if I'm just extra picky or if this was a bad day for Ace.

They re-plastic welded the damaged part. Sanded and painted to match the existing color. It was beautiful again. I dropped off the car at 8 am on Saturday and it was complete by 4 pm. They even dropped me off and picked me up at my house. Cant beat that.

Overall, the experience was good and I would not hesitate to go back. Dropped the car in the AM, got the quote as discussed over the phone and car was ready for pick-up at the scheduled time. Car was detailed very well (inside and outside). There was a pre-existing food deposit, odor and decay in the trunk of the car that his team took good care of in removing. Overall, the car was well cleaned, carpets shampooed, the glove-box and other compartments were cleaned, the outside body was waxed until it was shinning and the wheels were polished and scrubbed. Great job! No costs were raised and what I was quoted was what I paid. No fuss..no hassles.
