Great. No complaints.

They did a good job of the overall detailing, but when we brought the car in they said they could return the finish of the faded gloss coat on the hood and roof, and that did not happen. The roof and hood were still faded and there was still no return of gloss. It would have been better for them to say that they weren't sure if it would return to gloss, and then try and it didn't work out, rather than for them to say it will indeed return to gloss and have me authorize the service, and then to say sorry, we tried and it didn't return to gloss. They didn't offer any discount or consideration on the cost.

Saw the 1/2 price coupon here on Angie's List, decided to give this a try. Understand that I've never had detailing done -- I've only recently started using drive-thru carwashes, as I get older and lazier. While even the reduced price seemed a little steep to me, I decided to give it a try. Results: I'm very impressed. The interior looks as close to brand-new as is possible... only a couple of scuffs remain on plastic in the cargo area, and I throw all kinds of crap back there. This car has light beige upholstery, and it had gotten pretty dingy over the past 3 years. All marks and stains were removed, and the rest of the interior looks as good as or better than I've ever done cleaning it on my own. Edgar was very courteous, professional, and eager to see to it I was happy with the results. My only quibble: it was over 9 hours from the time I dropped it off until I was able to drive away again. I understand that they're busy, and it takes time to do work this thorough, but it was a slight inconvenience. In their defense, they were upfront from the time I made the appointment that they'd need all day, so it wasn't a surprise. I did end up waiting about a half-hour after I was told it would be done before I got the keys back... hence, the ding in my ratings for "punctuality" and "professionalism". Still, I was impressed overall, and will recommend these folk to friends & family who DO regularly get their cars detailed. Again, I have zero previous experience w/ car detailing, this may be the usual time required. Also, I have no idea if the usual price for this would be a good value... for the same reason. One final note: Ace has only recently added the location I used to their stable; as of yesterday, they had no signs indicating who they are there (still says "Jalisco Auto", I think).

My experience overall went very well. They did an excellent job with detailing. I have a 13 year old car and the paint job looks brand new again. The staff was friednly and professional. I would highly recommend this company to others.

The work was shoddy. It looks like something I could have done with a bottle of white out. It took forever. I don't trust that they know what they are doing.

My car was really dirty, especially my carpets. My teens said "I didn't know it was possible to make it look like a new car again." Every nook and cranky looked like new. Very happy.

Excellent service and a wonderful job. It's such a pleasure to drive a clean car!

The service turned out very well. I did not spend more than the $99 big deal. I actually went to their shop within the next ten days after I purchased the big deal. I think it was a great value, first of all, for $99 to do all that. They did as promised. I think the result was great. I saw no problem with the cleaning part. They were timely and speedy. I did not have a problem at all actually. They were very good.

.Made appointment. delivered car at 0800. Had it back at 1500. Car looked beautiful. Leather seats were clean again and all the cracks and nooks were cleaned, we checked it over thoroughly. My neighbor who gave my wife a ride home when I picked the car up liked it well enough to schedule his Porsche.

I showed up two hours late, they were still able to get my car done on time.

Ace Car Reconditioning was okay. I weren't really that happy with the work. We just didn't feel they were very thorough, when you take your car to be detailed, you expect it to come out pretty neat and clean and they get the nooks and crannies; there were just areas that they missed. They put something on the windshield to help repel rain but it's awful. It makes your windows cloud up, smeary when your windshield wipers were on and it took forever to wear off.

Very responsive when I inquired. Easy to schedule. Easy to do business with and they did a great job!

I had my service on a 2008 Subaru in 2012. It all went well and I was satisfied except thy were unable to remove white fir cone pitch from several places on the hood. We were able to do that at home with ice cubes and a razor. My friend took in his Lexus for similar service this week. It did not go well. It took two trip to complete the service. They didn't replace the floor mats 1st time and also they didn't clean out the trunk area although they had cleaned the rim of the trunk and obviously looked inside but had not vacuumed or shampooed the rugs inside. On the 2nd visit on his request they did complete that work. The original serviceman had promised to remove the film from the driver's side window and that was not done. He said he knew how and tried to get an OK to re-install film which he said they did but my friend had already made an appointment elsewhere. Altogether my "gift" was a disappointment.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for $99 last winter that entitled me to an interior detail by 8/1/3. Even though I dawdled about having the service performed, Ace agreed to extend the deadline for 2 weeks. That was a decent move on their behalf. Not only did Ace detail the inside of the vehicle, they also cleaned the outside of the vehicle. That was unexpected additional service for which I'm grateful. My only quibble is with an additional $25 charge for a small SUV. When I purchased the Angie's List Deal for $99, that's what I thought the price would be. I'm not sure who bears primary fault for the misunderstanding. "Small print" can hide devilish details. Maybe it was Ace's fault. Maybe it was Angie's List fault. Maybe it was my fault. In any case, I was surprised when I showed up for my appointment to be told there would an extra charge. That said, Ace did a darned good job and did more than I expected. I've used other detailers in the past, but would return to Ace at 81st/Glisan.

Ace did a fantastic job of detailing the interior an older automobile that had had a new paint job. They suggested defogging the headlight covers as the covers were in bad shape. The result was a vehicle that matched on the inside the "newness" of the outside. I will definitely use their expert services in the future.

They were prompt getting our car scheduled in and performed the work the day they committed it. The inside sparkled after they were done even though the car has quite a few miles on it. We then sold the car for a good price.

My husband had my car detailed for my birthday. I had been asking to have this done for quite awhile. I was not disappointed! The car looked new again (it's 8 years old). The car was very clean inside and out. Smelled fresh, too. I would definitely recommend them.

I called and set up an appointment. I showed up the night before because it would be difficult to get the car out there by 8 am in the morning and get to work on time. Ace said that was not a problem and checked in the car. We walked around the car looking for damage and I filled out the information sheet and then I was on my way very quick. I received a call that my car finished and I went out to pick up the car. We walked around the car again, ACE asked me to get in teh car and look around and make sure i was completed satisfied before I left their garage. The car looked brand new, the cleaned everything, the ashtrays the coin slots everything.

The test of a provider is how they handle problems. We had a problem with the intial detailing, but Eric was stellar when he heard of the problem. He was very proactive. I took my car back and he detailed it. It is beautiful. It's a 2008 but looks new. I have a Subaru, and the fabric on the seats were stained from raindrops, and the stains are gone. Even smudges behind the visor are gone. Very thorough and Eric was very professional and sincere.

It was a good experience. I would use them again without hesitation.

The service was okay. When I originally bought the coupon they said that I could buy one for the interior and one for the exterior, but when I went to use it the company said that I couldn't use it at the same time and that they wouldn't make any money if they did it. They said that I could only do one or the other and if I wanted to do the interior they would charge me another price for the exterior, but I told them no and that it's not going to work. I told them I could bring the car back on different dates, so I was going to do the interior one day and the exterior the next day. It sounded kind of foolish and wasn't what their coupon said, but I played the game since that's what they were demanding I do. The service was adequate, but it wasn't great. I wouldn't go back to them for work. They were nice, but it was the little things. They put your stuff in a white garbage bag when they take it out of your car, but other detail shops typically put it in a nice made up bag that has their name on it or you could even buy those for $0.50 that says we keep your valuables in here. The detail shops that I've went to don't do that. They don't put them in plastic garbage bags.

Interior looked okay until I started to drive....noticed a film of ? on the inside of the windshield, and notice two big areas they missed on the dashboard....also unfastened jack handle from under the back seat and did not replace, left it on the back seat. They did have the job done when they said tho, that was important at the time. Was told they would empty the bed of truck of garbage, they didn't and I said at the time no big deal...but when I got to "inspecting" the job the next day.....the touch up paint is rough and basically bad...a real body shop will now probably charge me more to get it done RIGHT. I would not use these people again! :(

The interior of my car is like new. I was absolutely amazed. All the little crevices are even clean. There were a couple of stains on the carpet that are not there now. They did a fabulous job. My headlights were very, very cloudy and they are now much better. They are not back to looking brand new, but considering how they started, I'm very pleased. They hand washed the exterior and I think they even waxed it, which I did not expect. I would definitely recommend this service to others.
