Ace Car Reconditioning LLC

I'm a real estate broker and was expecting out-of-town clients. I wanted my car to look clean and professional while I was driving them around. I had three little dogs at the time who often rode in the car with me. One was a Jack Russell Terrier who was a prolific shedder. There was white dog hair in all the nooks and crannies. I used a $99.00 car detailing promotional coupon from Angie's List and the car looked great. If I remember correctly, they may have charged me an extra $25.00 for the dog hair (but I could be remembering wrong since it was over a year ago). I thought that was fair. I'd never had my car detailed before, so it was like getting a mani/pedi for the first time. I'd do it every month if I could! I'd definitely using them again the next time my car needs to shine.

They removed a couple of stains on the seat, but may have scrubbed a little too hard. They were also very nice and good to deal with.

Did a terrific job of interior detailing on my husband's car.

This was the second time we have used this company. We had a coupon for a total reconditioning of vehicle, inside and out for $99.00.They were very professional and very friendly on the phone and especially in person. They helped us clean out the entire vehicle including trunk. They washed the inside and outside of the car, including tires. They cleaned all floor mats and polished the vehicle.The car was ready in one day.

I had my 1970 Camaro rally sport detailed inside and outside. It hasn't looked so good in years. I am very pleased with the outcome.

It went pretty well they did a fine job. I will recommend them! I intended to take in both of my cars but was not able to due to time so they did an extra special cleaning and detailing job on the one car I took in!

I purchased interior detailing Big Deal. When I drop the car, the vendor offered to also do exterior for $85, and requested an extra $30 for SUV. They delivered in good condition and by the time promised. It is easy to make appointment.

Completely detailed the interior and washed the exterior of a Nissan Xterra. The interior, after, detailing was immaculate.

The car was very clean. All possessions left in the car had been placed in a garbage bag and returned to the car. They even cleaned the glove compartment. The only surprise was a surcharge for a van/SUV.

The staff were courteous and punctual although the work was sub-par. Our car didn't even look detailed at all and had wax smears on the sides. They could have easily used a back-to-black on our dull bumper but didn't. This was a huge waste of our $125 and we unfortunately won't do it again.

Great job start to finish. Edgar was super to work with, he honored my expired "Big Deal" and I was able to use it towards the price of today's service. My car looks fabulous inside and out, almost like new again. I was talking to another customer as I was waiting to pick up my car and she absolutely gushed about the service, she has used Ace for multiple vehicles (body work as well as detailing). I am already scheduling another service to repair a rip in my leather upholstery.

First of all: I've never been to Ace Car Reconditioning, LLC, and never will. The reason for this review? I received an Angie's 'Big Deal' offer from ACR, with big letters proclaiming "50% off", "auto detailing for $99" and "value $199". All fine & dandy, and sounds like it might be a good deal, especially given my car needs detailing. Then I glanced at the fine print: You get a $199 detail for $99, but that requires the purchase, at full price, of 2 coupons for additional services. Total outlay: $497. Alleged savings: $100, or more like 17% off- along ways from 50%. I'm not even sure the Big Deal is a big deal, since a phone call to the establishment received a quote of $99 anyway. So, did we raise the price & then reduce it with the declaration of "discount", with 2 additional purchases tacked on, or are we lowballing a coupon, but tacking on 2 full priced sales as pre-requisites? I have reviewed and taken advantage of numerous Big Deal offers, and they all have the fine print. Normally, the requirements are reasonable, often expected exclusions designed to protect the business and the integrity of the offer. Unfortunately, once in a while you come across an unscrupulous establishment that attempts to promote its own business in underhanded ways, touting the scheme behind the façade of a discount. I don't care about the quality of the service provided by ACR; there are numerous, more responsible ways to promote a business, and one that resorts to such tactics is inclined to use other means to improve profits. In this case, ACR will have to find a more gullible client.

They were able to polish out a scratch the length of the car so it is no longer visible. I am completely satisfied with their work.

Did not get a call from the service provider for scheduling - so I had to call them. Car needs to be brought very early on that date and is left at the shop for the whole day. The quality was OK overall although I noticed some polisher/wax spilled over the plastic parts which left some white stain. The polish/wax made the car look shiny overall, but didn''t cover up scratches (which was within expectation). Noticed my radio settings were altered, new channel saved for whatever reason (guessing the servicing guy must have thought I really had to have that channel). Sales person there kept offering extra services for extra cost. Had to wait fairly long for him to get a cost estimate for those services that I didn't need at all.

They do an excellent job, are timely, good value, and professional. Even provided a loaner car!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. There was nothing special about it but they did a good job. The clean out was a little too much in the car so the smell is kind of too strong. Other than that they did a good job but the smell could have been a little less. There was no additional charge. I think I could probably get better prices if I looked around. The quality was okay. They did everything on time.

Excellent job. The car looked like new inside and out.

The actual service its self was pretty good. The car was very dirty inside. About 12 years of a teenage to young adult female driver who didn't really love to clean or even take trash out of her car. The car looked pretty clean on the inside after. About a 7.5/10. My real issue was the communication, punctuality and professionalism. I called on Tuesday to schedule an appointment for Friday at 8am (confirming that I could leave our car there Thursday night so they could start right away) and was told I could pick it up any time after 5pm. My wife followed me late Thursday night to drop off the car so that we could pick it up Friday night after work. I showed up at 5:45pm to pick up the car (they close at 6pm) to find out they hadn't started on it due to a miscommunication. They didn't call me to let me know and could only offer that they would have it done by 7/7:30pm. My wife and I had a commitment at 7:30 and couldn't wait around for it. We were also unavailable Saturday and the shop was closed Sunday. The only redeeming part of this exchange was that the employee in the office agreed to meet us on Sunday to pick the car up. I'm not sure if they are losing money on those deals but I couldn't understand how my car get dropped off Thursday night for the first appointment of the day and then was skipped until 6pm when I showed up OR that they didn't just think to pick up the phone when they realized the mistake. Even a call when I was half way there would have saved me about 15-20minutes of drive time. Hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.

Good initial contact for appointment. Service provider rescheduled appointment which was inconvenient as I had already made plans. Dropped Chevy Suburban off at arranged time. Picked up at time scheduled. None of the carpet stains were removed. Windows were washed but hard water stains were not removed. Wash was performed but not all black streaks were removed. (White Suburban). Seats wiped down, interior wiped down. Clean but not exceptional. Scheduler was polite and friendly both on phone and in person.

My experience with them was fine. I had no problems. Their pricing was fair and reasonable. The people were friendly and good. It was a package defined to focus on the interior and it definitely did that. The exterior was minimal washed, but that's okay. I was mostly interested in the interiors, so I have no complaints.

Provider was ready for me when I arrived and he had it ready for me at the promised time. The only problem was that the carpets were still a little damp and the inside of my vehicle fogged up.

Car was promised for 4:00. I came back at 4:15 and detailing was just being started on car. They also were going to fix a small ding on the side of the car. I looked to the side of the car where the ding had been and that area was covered in scratches. No one seemed to think it was a big deal. I told them that the scratches hadn't been there when I brought the car in and I wanted them to buff them out. I came back at 6:15 to pick up the car which was ready. The car detailing looked fine but the side of the car with the ding was all cloudy. It took another 5 minutes to buff the side of the car. I had heard such great reviews about ACE that I was surprised and disappointed by their indifference to my car. I am not a difficult customer but do expect a phone call if my car is not going to be ready when promised. I also expect that if you ask me if I want to fix a small ding in the door of my car, the area surrounding the ding will not look worse then the ding is removed. I did receive a phone call the next day asking how I would rate their service. I explained the situation again and did receive an apology.

It was okay. They were not organized; they asked me for my coupon at drop off so I gave it to them and then took the bus to go pick up my car and they were telling me they did not have the coupon and that I owed the full amount so that was a little frustrating. He eventually kind of dug through his papers and found my code so it worked out okay. The work that they did was good but I would not necessarily recommend that place again. They just were not as helpful as far as dropping off the car but I think they had somebody working at that time that was newer and he was not that informed on how to do his job but he ended up not staying; I think he left the job very quickly, by the time my car was done. That could have been just one bad employee that they did not even end up keeping. It was not great but they did the work. It was just not was not easy to work with them.
