Description of Work: Greg came in asked where or what the problem was, went out to his truck and put on a jumpsuit and crawled under our house to address the problem. If Greg is any indication of what service and courteousness you can expect to receive, I will definitely refer and use SOS for all of my plumbing needs!

Service performed on schedule and as per bid. System works very well and finally my landscaping is being properly irrigated.

Description of Work: OUTSTANDING! They came the same day I called and installed a new piece to my kitchen faucet and repaired my leaking bathroom faucet with a new part. They were very professional and all repairs were done efficiently in a clean manner. I was extremely impressed and will definately use SOS again in the future!

Description of Work: Very unsatisfying discussion. They charge $40 more than other plumbers locally and could not tell me what I get for that extra $40/hour. I asked for a specific product and he quoted another.

Description of Work: Called SOS in for a yearly sewer clean-out. Included in that was the effort to clean-out the drain pipe that crossed under our driveway. In doing that, the SOS worker learned that the pipe surfaced prematurely at the side of our shed. (No wonder it was always swampy there each winter.) We had SOS come back to do a laser search to locate the other drain pipes, to see where they ended, and through that, we learned that another pipe ended prematurely. This all determined the necessity to excavate and replace the faulty drain pipes and send the drains to the street where the water would run into the sewer. The work was performed very well and in a timely manner by extremely personable men.

Description of Work: We had a backup in our system so SOS Plumbing came and figured out that the problem was tree roots so they took care of it.

Description of Work: Rebuilt 1 leaking hose bib, and checked out other two as okay. Was given a senior discount on labor. As of 7/23/11, the hose bib continues not to leak. Phil was the service person. On 11-22-10 I hired SOS to determine why a shower was slow to drain (it had drained just fine for the last 4 years), and fix it. Ross said it just had hair in it, and that he cleaned it out. He recommended that 1x/month I put 1/4 cup of bleach into the drain at night, and wash it through with a morning shower. The shower started not draining well after about 10 days, and I tried the bleach fix with no success. Cost was $90.00 with senior discount. I finally hired a handyman who was able to permanently fix it in about 2 minutes, with the use of a plunger and a lot of water going down. On 10/7/08 I hired SOS to find out why the water in the house was not very hot, and why the degree of hotness varied from time to time. John replaced the gas control and the thermocouple on the water heater. This fixed the problem. Total cost was $237.00, with the senior discount. On 4/14/08 I hired SOS to determine why my water pressure was weak. Danny said the pressure was at 50% of what it should be, and replaced the T&P valve. That fixed the problem. The total cost was $112 (no senior discount). On 2/15/08 I hired SOS to replace the rubber flapper on the garbage disposal, that had come loose and fallen into the disposal and been damaged. Bill replaced the flapper, and charged $107.00 (no senior discount).
