Description of Work: We discovered our roof was leaking...called around and everybody was busy for weeks ahead but River Roofing squeezed us in the next day! They got right up there on our second story roof and fixed 99% of the problem..still leaks a tad but we will have them back in the summer and complete it.

Description of Work: They tore the old roof off and put on a new one. The crew that tore the old roof off was on time, courteous, and cleaned up very nicely. The crew that put the new roof on was on time, cleaned up, but my renters said they were a little rude to her. The only thing that bothered my about this company was we agreed on a date to have the work done. They then came back and told me that they could not do this date and that it would have to be done a month later.

Description of Work: They stripped off the old roof and put on the new roof in two days.They were very prompt and efficient.We were very pleased with the results and they cleaned up nicely as well.

Description of Work: River Roofing did an excellent job of repairing a difficult problem left by a sloppy reroofing job done by another roofing business. The guys were punctual, communicated well and conscientious about cleanup. They repaired the problem with the roof and found another problem with the chimney. The office credited us with an original fee for repair when that didn't correct the problem, the follow-up work resolved all the issues.

Description of Work: Everything went well. When I contacted them in mid-late August they sent a sales person to my home, looked at the roof and told me that they were very backed up and could not do my roof until at lest November with the actual time depending on the weather. They then sent me an estimate in the mail a few days later with a contract requiring a 10% down payment which I paid. In mid November, they called and said that it would be done mid-December. They showed up on Dec. 19th and took 3 days to do the whole roof which included removing the old roof. They cleaned up all the debris from the old roof when they were finished. All in all they did a very good job and I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof

Description of Work: Replace shingles at the peak of the roof on our 2 story house. They came to look at it, left to get matching shingles and came back immediately to install them. They re-used our peak shingles to save us money.

Description of Work: Roof leaking around flasing installed incorrectly by another firm. River Roofing responded quickly and repaird the leak immediately saving us countless costs for repacing interior wall. They were very professional and explained the reasons for the leaks showing us the precise locations and measures taken for repair.

Description of Work: River Roofing were very professional when they gave us a bid and when they did their work. Took our old roof off of our 3 car garage, all the way to sheeting, in one day. Put on new roof next day and cleaned up their mess the next day. They were quick and new what they were doing. The roof on our garage was a very steep pitch, because of the room we have above garage. I would recommend them to all my friends.

Description of Work: RIVER ROOFING ***A+++++++EXCELLENT RATING!!!!******THE BEST! (and, I know all about the fact that roofers can be the worst contractors to hire). Roofing area: Home 3,200 sq ft. and Barn 1,500 sq ft.Prior to deciding to go with River Roofing, I got a bid (which came in higher than River Roofing, and not in writing!!) from a "mom & pop" company recommended to me by a very large local contractor. River Roofing's written bid came in LESS than the "mom & pop" company. River Roofing was professional, spelling out exactly what the bid would include. Before my decision was made........our roof started leaking (with all the rain this past Jan. & Feb.).The "other" mom & pop company came out to fix the leak, on their way to do a bid. They said it would only be about $50.00 for the repair, and FREE if I went with them for the new roof. The repair was done by the daughter of the elderly man (company owner). It took less than 30 minutes. She just slapped on some Black Jack ( which did nothing and the roof still leaked). I then called River Roofing. They came right out and did an extensive review of the leak and made repairs, including new flashing. This solved the leak temporarily. The repair man from River Roofing, explained what the problem was and said "call if you have any more leaks", and they would come right out. ***ALL AT NO CHARGE!!! This was ALL BEFORE I SIGNED & SENT IN A DEPOSIT TO HIRE THEM. Of course, I went with RIVER ROOFING to install the new roof. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!I then received a bill from the "mom & pop" company for $115.00 on the repair, that they verbally said would be $50.00.!!!SOOOO GLAD I DID NOT GO WITH THEM..... The RIVER ROOFING crew came in like a swarm of worker bees ( on time), worked very hard and fast, up to 10 guys at a time. It was warm (80's), and the hornets were swarming all around them. The old roofing had many wasp & hornets nests. They removed all old roofing, nailed on new plywood sheeting, cleaned up everything! AND used a large magnet to get the old nails (we have found less than a dozen nails since they left), picked up everything and hauled it away. Six dump truck loads!! They were done in 2 and a half days. I can't thank them enough for the great job they did!!! BONUS: I SIGNED UP ON ANGIES LIST FOR ABOUT $10.00 FOR A YEAR, AND RIVER ROOFING HAD A COUPON FOR $75.00 OFF! Description of Work: They repaired our roof during an intense rain storm on our rental property.

Description of Work: I used River Roofing to repair the roof over the back porch.

Description of Work: Allen came out in a timely manner and bid was received within days. Work was originally scheduled for Sept. but they had a cancellation, gave me a call and came out the next day. Everything went very smooth and I am very happy with the results. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. All the workers were very personable.

Description of Work: My home is 3400 square foot. I received an estimate from the company ($21000). I did not choose to have the company complete the job based on price. In the roofing process request, I asked for the removal and disposal of the old shingles and debris. Then, replace with an asphalt shingle of my choice.

Description of Work: River Roofing removed and replaced all of the composition shingles on my 1500 square foot home.

Description of Work: River Roofing gave me a written estimate. I have a two story, 1700 square foot home with an attached double garage. They would take off the old shingles and materials. Then, they would install 40 year asphalt squares, 1 1/2 inch sheeting, felt underlay, flashing and profiling on a ridge across the top. With the estimate, a tubular 14 inch skylight would be installed as well.

Description of Work: The old roof was taken off. The company did a great job of cleaning all materials and hauling them off the property. A new 30 year, Class A Laminated Shingles was installed, with eave metal. Three new vents were also installed.
