This was the only company out of 5 bids that included replacement of the the rotted boards that were visible. I called Allen a couple of times with questions after receiving the bid and he was very helpful but never pressured me for the sale or bad mouthed his competitors. When the work started there was much more dry rot than anticipated. I was a little worried about the rise In cost. Ultimately they replaced 14 pieces of plywood and 8 facia boards. When the final bid came a drop of sweat dripped down my brow as I opened it! I was surprised to find the extra was only about $900 more. My only complaint would be in communication after the job started. They were not forthcoming with how much dry rot they found until I asked. I felt this should have been information I was supplied with when it came to light that the work was much more involved than originally bid.

They were very easy to work with regarding the scheduling. I needed to move up the start date as I would've been out of town and they were able to accomodate my schedule.

We have used them a couple of times and their pricing is pretty average.

The estemater was there when he said he would be and was very polite to my Mother who is elderly and understood all her needs. He was very helpful in recommending the best product at the best price for her.

A chunk of roofing blew off during a wind storm and landed in the gutter. There was no leaking into the house. Called River Roofing on a Friday. They were out the following Tuesday. They were on time. Very friendly and professional. The chunk was not damaged so they were able to reinstall it in short time.

Workers arrived on time. Performed removal of old roof, installed sheathing and installed felt in 8 hours. Installed shingles in approximately 8 hours. Excellent clean-up. Pleasant professional employees.

I got estimates and their estimate was good. They were local and I had heard good things from people that had used them. They were timely and they were here when they said they would be here. They kept me informed prior to coming out initially. The workers were very diligent and polite and good to communicate with. They had a team leader that I could deal with each day for any aspect of the job. They cleaned up well. They did a very nice job and the roof came out well. They were on time and I would use them again. Up to now they did everything well but it hasn’t rained yet. The price was competitive. They did a good job.

They were courteous and very quick and they tried to not be in the way.

River Roofing is prompt, reliable, courteous and professional. They get an A for everything.

They were very punctual and came when they said they would. Most importantly they informed me that I didn't need a new roof at all. I really appreciated their honesty with my estimate.

River Roofing came highly recommended by two friends, as well as Angie's List. When I called for a quote, I was told it would be a little while before they could send out an estimator. I heard from the estimator 9 days later and scheduled to meet him 3 days after that. He arrived on time, took measurements and offered a few suggestions. I received the bid 5 days after that via US mail. The bid was thorough and included pricing for different quality shingles. The price was competitive with the other bid I received. The only problem was that they wouldn't be able to do the work until mid September (4 months out). That would not suit my schedule so I did not hire them to do the work.However, given the personal recommendations I received and the fact they are extremely busy, it is reasonable to think they do good work.

The work proceeded according to plan. It was easy to reach people at the home office and those doing the job. The workers left the area around the house clean. When the roof job was completed, the foreman made a trip to repair slight plaster breaks caused by taking off and re-inserting 3 skylights.

The job was done very quickly and professionally and on time. After completion they had someone come out and inspect the work to make sure nothing was overlooked. All done before they sent me a bill.

I had a leak and they had to track it down an then they fixed it. I like them because they have been in the community for a long time. They stand behind their work. They are very honest.

It went very well, would use their services again.

A storm came through and uplifted some of the shingles. Also we have a window up in the ceiling and water was coming through and they came and fixed that. They are good and they put in the roof doe us and we have not been unhappy with them. If we need them for anything they are here. They are really good. In the end if it is something that they cannot do they would make sure that it is done somehow or the other. They will recommend someone.

I recommend them highly. They did a great job at cleaning up their mess. We had heard that they were the best. They did a great job.

Roger came to the house and inspected the roof and found the source of our leak, a poorly installed skylight. His estimate was very fair as it included removal of the old shingles and underlayment and a new skylight, and a great cleanup (absolutely no sign that the old roofing was removed) other than the new felt on the roof. The new shingles and the new skylight were installed about 10 days later. They did a fabulous job. looks great and better yet it doesn't leak even during extremely heavy rains, it was proof tested by a 2 day 6 inch rainfall in January.

River Roofing did a terrific job replacing a roof on an old home that I use as an office building. They were very careful with the asbestos issues, and they were extremely professional.. I would definitely use their services again.

They were prompt. They cleaned up the area. They did a really good job. They were very good. When it was all completed, they had someone come in and inspect and did a finishing and cleanup. I would use them again in the future. I would recommend them to others.

Do call this company. You will not be disappointed.

.They may not be the cheapest, but they are really professional. The gave us excellent service. The product was very worth while purchasing.

I was very satisfied with River Roofing. They showed up on time and did the job very quick. Everything was clean when we showed up and the roof looks great! I will give them an "A" on everything.

They came out and did the job. They know what they are doing. It didn't take them long. They did it on time. The quoted price was right up there, but they charged $150 to come and look at it. They came out and looked at it, which wasn't that much for the job. It really didn't take them that much. They had to take some roofing off to put another piece in. They are really nice. They said they wouldn't charge us because they didn't use many of the materials. After they had got it done, I had a good rain and I had a leak. I called them up and said there might be a leak in an area that I didn't bring to their attention. They just popped out on a Friday and took a look at it. They said what they fixed was good and the leak was in a different area. They put some tin and roofing stuff around it. They didn't charge me a dime. They were good. They are really good in the community too.

The company supplied all the material exactly to spec (roofing, underlayment, down to the vent /flashing). The crew installed the roofing on a foggy, icy cold day. Everything was done professionally and efficiently and came within estimate (around $10000 including the general contractor's mark up). It's a good local company to work with.
