Description of Work: Repaired our shake roof. Replaced damaged shingles and installed new ridge caps. Cleaned roof and used moss treatment. This is the second time we've used Quintana Roofing. Description of Work: They removed all of the moss from my roof and cleaned the gutters. They then put chemicals to reduce to make it harder for moss to return. They noticed that the shingles on my back porch overhang were bad and they replaced those as well. They were incredibly thorough and my roof has not looked this good since I moved in.

Description of Work: Quintana Roofing cleaned out the valleys and gutters as well as treated the roof for moss on the house and on the detached garage. Quintana Roofing does a good job. This is the second year that I hired them to do roof maintenance. Nery in the office is wonderful, and Fidel in the field is skilled and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Mr. Quintana roofed my home and a small shed. He is a very happy fellow and |loves to whistle while he works which is very pleasant. He worked very steady |and the job was completed on time. There was some extra cost due to a lot of rot, which I am grateful that he made the replacements that needed done for longer life of my |roof. His daughter is very polite and efficient in the paperwork.They seem to be a good team.I would |recommend this stress free smiling man to anyone that needs a new roof. He definitely knows what he is doing.

Description of Work: Quintana roofing installed a new metal roof on my rental house. I was quite pleased that the quote came in so low, several thousand less than the other bids I got, including some bids by very small operations. I found the owner to be very responsible, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. The house was completed in exactly the timeframe and to the extent I wanted. I would definitely and have already recommended to others.

Description of Work: Estimate only; services not performed. The quote was fair and response was great but I started and finished the job over the weekend. Quintana was unable to start for a few days, so I did tear off and then continued - job went easier than anticipated so decided to complete myself. Quintana offered the best price and I felt very good about the company. I believe he would have done a good job and it would have been completed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: With all the great recommendations we called and scheduled a time to meet with the owner. he arrived 90 minutes late, did not appear as knowledgable as we had hoped and took an extra roofing tile we had for repairs and without our permission ripped it in half and took it with him to "match" it. We have never heard from him again, never got a quote, never got our tile back. Nothing. A very disappointing experience with him.

 + -1 moreWe first hired Mr. Quintana in Aug. 2009 to replace several large shingles on the roofs of two 2-story apartment buildings. He was on time to meet with us to give an estimate, made a fair bid, completed the work quickly, met us after to inspect his work, and met his original bid. We paid $900 for this first job. We then hired him to replace 6 vents on the roof of one building; he again was on time and very professional. He completed the work for $150. In Dec. 2009, we hired him to repair a leak over a different building (cost was $150). This month we hired him to locate and repair the cause of a leak above a second-floor apartment. He found and repaired a hole in the roof and replaced the flashing, all for $180. Each time we have hired Mr. Quintana we have been impressed with his punctuality, professionalism and the quality of his work as well as his very reasonable prices. He also has explained additional work that might need to be done in the future without pressuring us to do it right away. And he explains pricing changes in materials that might affect our decisions.
Description of Work: Repaired hole in roof. We have hired Quintana Roofing several times since last summer to make repairs to roofs of 2-story apartment buildings.
