The gentleman was professional and polite. He shared pictures with me of a small additional problem that was seen from the roof and offered me a very reasonable repair regarding a leak. He fixed the chimney cap bracket that must have broken off during a recent wind storm at no additional charge. Very thorough!

Murphy's did an excellent job on my gas fireplace cleaning. Removing the glass on the fireplace required special tools which they had. The fireplace never looked better when they were done.

Perfectly. Several months later the fireplaces were reexaminedoing by the gas company because of a funny noise which turned out to be a bird pecking on the vent on the roof. I was pleased that the inspector from the g as s company commented on how clean the fireplaces were.

Took them 3 appointments to finally come.

The actual service call went as well as one can go. Technician was friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. Office service is poor. Make an appt 3 times and then ultimately was told on service date that technician called in sick. Technicain could have been actually sick but based on the three times i was asked to make an appt that i already had made, i had a feeling there would be a no show.

The service man only 'cleaned' for maybe 15 minutes. Then started telling me all the things I needed to have done. Bricks needed replacing, flu needed replacing...etc. Very very expensive.

ok......didn't see him do much cleaning. He spent more time and energy telling me everything I needed to fix. He gave me prices when I asked for them. Told him I was not interested, so he left.

It went very well, on time, easy to work with, I would highly recommend him.

So polite and thoughtful. Definitely the kind of company that I want to hire and will next time.

the fireplace is working better than it did new, creating more heat...i don't need to turn on my furnace to heat the house....

It worked out real well. They did everything according to the book, and did a great job. The price was very fair. They came in and made sure nothing got dirty. They were professional. They cleaned up after themselves perfect.

Highly qualified tech. Very customer service oriented. Had some issues with getting it scheduled, but no big deal.

We turned the unit off two hours prior to the appointment time to allow it to cool. The technician arrived two hours early, without calling, to find the unit still quite hot. He was pleasant to talk with however he had never serviced the type of insert we have. He had to call the manufacturer for information, but did so only because, as he was leaving, he was asked if he was returning to finish the job we had paid for. The logs were not placed as they had been prior to the service, but the fireplace lights as it should. I don't know what the usual time is to complete a service such as this, but ours lasted almost three hours. Based on our experience I would not use them again.

Good job. He cleaned it all out and gave us recommendations on how to care for a fireplace to make it last longer. Very professional. We learned a lot. No sales pressure for further work, only recommendations.
