I was in a panic because I'm leaving in 3 days for a couple of weeks in Alaska. My husband couldn't be home for an appliance call and Sears couldn't be here until Tuesday! :-( So, I went on Angie's List and it looked like Larry's Appliance had great reviews. I called him and he said he could be here within an hour! I couldn't believe it! And he was. He got it fixed up, and I happily paid the reasonable cost of the service call ($60) and the parts and labor. It was a total of $120.00. I would definitely call Larry again, and will be sure to let my family and friends know about him, too.

I called and talked to Larry. I asked him about repairing my dishwasher. He asked me what was wrong with it or how it didn't perform correctly. I told him and he advised me that it would be necessary for me to purchase a new one and that there was no reason for him to come out and charge me $60.00. He also suggested that I purchase either a Maytag or a Whirlpool So I went out and purcased a new one.

Larry came the same day and discovered it was a simple adjustment. He did not charge us for any labor hours only the minimum for a service call. In January, he repaired our washing machine--again, it was a good experience. The cost was reasonable and his response time was very fast. We are pleased with the service he provides.

When I called Larry for the dryer, he happened to be in the neighborhood and was there in 5 minutes. When I called him he had listened to the dryer over the phone and diagnosed the problem. I gave him the model number of the dryer and he said he had the part on his truck. He had the dryer fixed in about a 1/2 hour and about $10 under his estimate. Later, when I called about the dishwasher, he said he knew that it was the pump and would cost as much as buying a new one. My husband still wanted him to come out just in case there was something that he could see that was wrong and could fix. Larry came out and told me that it was indeed the pump and that he really couldn't do anything. He waived the service call.

Gas dryer was not heating up and drying times were in hours not minutes. I considered repairing it myself after reviewing some Online resources. Since there could have been multiple root causes and I lack the expertise to differentiate, I chose to use a professional. I looked up providers in my area and Larry was the closest with good ratings. Larry answered my call directly from his truck. He more or less diagnosed the problem from my description and offered to come by within an hour. He gave me an estimate of $125 for labor and parts. Larry arrived when he said he would and quickly got to work. He disassembled the entire dryer and it was full of lint. I gave him my small hose vacuum and to get the small stuff and he removed a few hands full from some areas. He also noticed that the wire harness from the front control panel that wrapped along the top rail to the back of the dryer wasn't suspended properly and was coming into contact with the drum, potentially exposing it to wear. After cleaning things out, Larry replaced the coils and put the dryer back together including suspending the wire harness with a zip tie that I provided. He even shortened the flexible hose connecting the dryer to the wall duct. The dryer was put through a couple of heating cycles and everything seemed to be working. Even though he was on site for nearly 40 minutes, he only charged me a half-hour of labor which kept the charges at the original estimate.

Threw the last load of laundry in the dryer Friday night before going to bed. Woke up Saturday to find dryer STILL running, but no heat. Tried to troubleshoot the problem myself but at 11:00 that morning I decided to call a professional. Called Larry Saturday morning with intention to leave message, but Larry answered and said he could come out at 1:00 that afternoon. Arrived promptly, and problem was fixed within an hour. Larry is very professional and personable. Very highly recommend this company.

I called them and asked what it would cost to come out and look at the unit to fix it. They recommended that I pick up a book at the library that would show me how to fix the unit myself easier and less expensive than having them come out. This was very unexpected and pleasant. I was able to do it myself and I am now a customer for life. They always are reliable and up front on everything. .
