Because of the age of the house, I asked for an estimate on re-piping the house. The pipes are zink, and when one gives way, they all are ready to go. I had put a plumber's patch on the leak, but it was not a total seal. Because there was a slow leak, I was turning the water off at the main, unless I was bathing or washing clothes and dishes. Consequently, I considered it an emergency, or at least an urgent need for service. When the first young man showed up, he agreed that re-piping would be the best answer. He called for backup, as he was not able to give me an estimate. They left things as they were, and said they would get back to me with an estimate. Two + week later, I got a bill for "Checked and located leak in basement. Reported to customer." Well, I knew where the leak was, so that is not accurate. For walking into the basement and looking at the pipe, I was charged an amazing amount of money, and still do not have an estimate. Needless to say, I will use another plumber.

I called them at about 9 AM and they said they would call me back to schedule an appointment. At 11 they called back and asked if 11:30 that same day would be OK. I have never had such quick service. When the gentleman arrived I showed him the leaky water heater and he did an inspection to see if he could repair it or if I should just get a new one. He then explained my options, and I chose to replace the water heater. Then he asked if I wanted to go purchase one myself and he could come back and install it for me, or if I wanted to purchase one from Judson's. I chose the latter, so he called his boss and within a half an hour the new water heater arrived, delivered by the company owner himself. The water heater was installed, and everything was put back in order, with no mess anywhere. I was very impressed.

The electrician arrived (Bruce) promptly and began performing the requested service immediately. He ran into a snag or two because of the incorrect items I had purchased, but still managed to make them work. He checked in with me a time or two about my preferences, making sure everything was to my satisfaction. I received four estimates for this project and although Judson's was the second highest priced, i went with them because of reputation. And, I got what i paid for! He completed all of his work more quickly than the estimated time, cleaned up behind himself, and even gave my a little "tutorial" on both the newly installed light and the best (safest) forms of lighting for humans. So, in addition to having a service performed with high quality, I learned something in the process.

We had Judson's come and look at what we wanted done, and the worker suggested we find the fixtures we wanted to use rather than pay a good deal more buying them through their company. We appreciated the tip and did find fixtures at a discount. The worker then came back about two weeks later and completed the work.

The work was done quickly and efficiently (though the plumber did show up about 15 minutes late). Plumber took time to answer my questions about future improvements and cleaned up before leaving. We will use Judson's again for future plumbing needs.

They were prompt and on time. They accomplished the job quickly and exactly as I wanted. The only negative was the price, but all all electric companies seem to charge way too much to overhead.

It were suppose to be fixed a pipe that burst at the house. They did not properly patch it so they had to do an additional $2000.00 worth of work. Even thought they said it had been done. So I wasn't completely satisfied. I mean they did fix it but they said that when they initially did it and it wasn't. The price they are funking at but the quality was ok.

Their prices are fair and they do excellent work.

The repairman was prompt as well as personable. The price was high for the amount of time and work involved.

It took 6 service calls before the problem was solved. They came out and looked and tried different things, replaced the thermostat, ignition control module, and cleaned a flame sensor, but none of this solved the problem. On the 6th visit, they found the gas regulator pressure was too high. I had to call Northwest Natural to come out and replace that. I'm not saying they did a bad job, but I think they charged me more than I should have had to pay. They gave me credit for two of the visits, but it was still more than I thought was reasonable. But still, the worst part was that when I received the bill, I called them to discuss the charges and was almost yelled at (he spoke in a raised voice) by the manager/supervisor of the heating department (Robin) and if I tried saying something, he would talk over me and interrupt me. I'm not a confrontational person, so I just backed down and paid the bill. But I will never have them back to work on something at my house, and I will relate this experience to all my contacts, coworkers, family, etc. and encourage them to call someone else.

In the past i have used Judson's for jobs around my home. I used them to install a new faucet i purchased. The installer never let me know that the new faucet would not allow me to fully turn on the water because the taps hit the backslash. This would have affected my coincide in having my faucet changed out. A few years earlier I had them install a new sink for me and after the instillation there was a crack in my garbage disposal. I called Judson's after both instences and there was noting done to correct the matter.

They are always there and they are a quality company. The workers are awesome. Everything is holding up very well. We will continue to use them.

This company was very easy to deal with. I was pleased with the work that they did. We paid for an hour of plumbing work and he was done in 20 minutes so he offered to help out with other small issues we had. He was on time and professional. I would recommend them to anyone in the future.

The stub-ups were placed correctly and very quickly however they made one huge error. in spite of our supplying them with written specs and drawings, and having same on job site - they installed the wrong toilet. They replaced it with the correct one quickly - however they did not tell the General Contractor, nor us, that they had had to patch the very expensive sheet vinyl - as the wrong toilet had a bigger base all round. This was not apparent during final inspection - and of course was not seen until months later when we moved into the house. This has become a large irritant and a nightmare to clean around - as the patch is, of course, coming loose after five years.

I've used them for probably twenty five or thirty years. Their quality is very good but I don't know about their prices as I've not done any price checking. I've just always used them.

Most of the experience went well. However, I requested they call before they come to complete the project. I gave the women who answered the phone two phone numbers; both my cell and home. I was running errands when he first called and he only called my home. I even specified to call my cell phone first because I knew I would not be home. I missed the call but was able to re scheduled an appointment. The man who performed the work was very nice and accommodating to my needs. He came out within 15 minutes of me speaking with him. He was very knowledgeable and nice. They quoted it would take an hour to an hour and a half. It only took him 15 minutes. He was very quick and efficient. I was very pleased.

All went extremely well; the service man arrived as promised and the installations were completed and everything is still working well two years later. Spendy ..... but no complaints! I have always had very good, prompt service from Judsons.

One of the heat pumps wasn't working at a duplex. We also has been wanting to replace the old (mercury) thermostats in both units. So we combined the jobs, given that it is industry standard to charge you a lot for travel time. They started the job the same day I called, which was great. They replaced the capacitor in the heat pump and installed two digital thermostats. The entire bill was $404 ($178 just for the thermostat parts). We were pleased with the ease of working with Judson's.

Great, here when expected very professional crew. Cleaned up after themselves.

The phone call to request service was very quick and efficient. The scheduled appointment time was adjusted to fit my plans. He arrived right on time, did the work, waited a few minutes to check for leakage, cleaned up and was gone in 30 minutes.

The price was good. We would hire them again.

Every time we have used their services, everything went very well. We have never had a problem.

The original owner of the company used to live next door to me. They are a long-term plumbing company in Salem. They do good work. Their price is a little high. The quality of their work is excellent. Their level of responsiveness was satisfactory.
