We now have the best fence on the block, thanks to Gentry Family Construction! They came and gave us a free bid, answered all of our questions, and really listened to our wants and needs. They had one of the best prices around for our ceder fence, and were even able to accommodate an awkwardly sized gate. We are definitely using Gentry for our next project!

Gentry Family Construction is a top notch outfit to work with. We setup a up walk through for a scheduled date and I had to cancel for family reasons. I told them my only availability was within the next 45 mins. They accepted it and showed up with short notice from me right on time. They walked through the project with me and voiced their opinions. They did not want to cut any corners, they wanted to do it right. They gave a more then fair price to complete the project and I timeline. They met both of those without a hitch. What a great company and I will use them in the future for sure.

Tim and Gary are a father/son operation which really appeals to me. They both came out to give us a bid on residing our home. Both were very cordial and informative regarding the job. Due to the age of our home, they discussed things they might find and what additional costs may be incurred. Given all the potential scenarios, we hired them. They gave us a time line of how things would progress and we right on schedule. The job they did was outstanding and clean up even better. We would hire them again without reservation.

Very well, the side door and attic pull down I purchased were beyond my ability to install. The side door was originally 32 inches and I bought a 36 inch so framing had to be altered. The attic rafter and one truss had to be reframed and considerable skill was needed to fit it. Their bid included providing a new attic window to illuminate the storage floor area I was adding and locating it. They did an exceptional job. The next door neighbor saw it and asked for a bid. The front garage door horizontal framing member was soft and in removing it as the original bid contempated rot was found into the OSB sheathing above and the edge of the glue lam beam needed to be repaired. The original contract noted extra rot discovered in a repair would be solved at extra cost. I readlly agreed and when the unforeseen rot was exposed they provided a great cost effective repair at very reasonable additional bid including new siding and the missing Z flashing and vapor barrier missing in the original construction of the home that led to this problem. I have asked for a bid to extend the eave to help shield the new side garage door. I found them on Craig's List and their expertise and family friendly service and very fair prices was really proven. I remodeled a house thirty years ago and am semi retired. I was also a career claim adjuster and manager, and have that experience with construction bids. I am also on my condo association board of directors and see a lot of water damage problems and repair bids. I give Gentry Family Construction LLC my highest recommendation.

We met with 4 contractors for quotes & the Gentry Family boys were by far the most knowledgeable & personable. Not only did they give us the best quote but they were ready to answer any questions or concerns we had. Any concerns they came across during the job they were sure to consult with us first so there was never a surprise in the cost. Will definitely be using them for all of our big home projects

The owner Tim Gentry does not know how to deal professionally with customers. I was told I did not need a building permit and then after they were completed I found out that I was required to get one. When I asked about it they told me they knew and that they were just trying to save money. The company did not do what they said. I have plenty of photos I can share with anyone. The finish work was not done right. I was told the area that was for the garbage was going to be 6x8 with pressure treated lumber. It ended up being 5x5 with 2x4 pressure treaded lumber. The company does not clean up after themselves. There was garbage everywhere. One wall they built the boards don’t line up. When I asked about that they said it was because the existing pillars where not square. I asked them why they did not just measure the other boards to make them the same length, he said oh I never thought of that. The railing and stairs are still not up to code, and is a safety hazard for my kids. Whey they said they were done they wanted their money and left. I had high hopes for this company but was very disappointed in the work quality and lack of professionalism .

Gentry Construction was a great company to work with. They gave me a quote on a new roof. Very prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. Tim was always very quick to respond to phone calls and text messages. Their price was reasonable and fair too.

These guys are awesome. Very responsive to our questions and needs. The roof looks amazing, and was done within the time frame they gave me. They did my deck a couple months ago and it is flawless! They will be my very first call for ANY contracting work I need in the future.

Showed up on time & ready to work. Knowledge of our flat roof needs excellent, making for better than average repair in that regard. Problems were typical: Dry Rot in places, siding damage, post repairs, and flashing issues. Al done. All done right. All done in a timely fashion... and nice guys!

It went great! They did an excelllent job and we're very professional. We lost power at my house on the last day and despite that they were able of finish the job by hand nailing the rest of the roof. I appreciate their hard work and dedication

Tim and his crew gave me a fair price and excellent workmanship. They showed up on the job site early and ready to go, with all materials and tools/equipment. They got to work right away and once the repairs were completed they cleaned up the job site, and removed all debris. We went over the repairs, he showed me what had been done, The work completed was done to my complete satisfaction, on time, and on budget.

Tim did an outstanding job on our home. We will be bringing him back to build our deck this summer. Very professional and fast.

Theses guys are truly a family business and the job got done exactly how I wanted, with no questions asked. They did everything they said they would do and in a very timely manner! Gentry Construction responded quickly, gave us a very reasonable quote, and arrived on time each day. They worked quickly and left the area around the house clean every day. Our new roof looks great and we would hire them again next time we need something done.

Good with no issues! I called back because another problem arised to the job and they came back and did extra with no charge. Tim remained professional and took care of my needs. I highly recommend.

Tim responded quickly to my message and made an appointment time to come and look at my home siding and back deck. He helped me brainstorm ideas that would work for my back yard space. He was patient, honest, creative, and professional. His quote was much lower than other companies that I contacted and he even told me how I could save money! When it comes time to get this done, he is the one I will call.

Were willing to listen and change things that we wanted. Great crew. Fantastic clean-up. We added a few projects while they were here. It is hard to find a professional, reliable company to do your job; you can't go wrong here. They go the extra mile for you!
