Description of Work: Air conditioner.

Description of Work: Rose City Heating and air added a new gas run from the line under our kitchen island out to our deck for a bbq. They also did a furnace and AC sercive and discovered some severe corrsion on one of the furnace parts. The furnace was still working but they said it wouldn't be long and the electronic part would fail, so I had them replace it as the furnace is only 10 years old. I was a little sceptical at first when the gas line was installed as the guy who gave the estimate said the best way to do it would be to run a new line from the main gas line in the garage, but the technician who did the work tapped in to the line under our island which was much shorter. So far we haven't had any problems so it appears to have worked. The people were very nice and worked with me to try to have my home warranty pick up some of the cost on getting the damaged part replaced, however it wasn't covered under my home warranty so I ended up having Rose City do that too. They were very professional and worked quickly. It took a few weeks for them to get the broken part for my furnace but that was ok as the warm weather had arrived and I wasn't using it anyway. The work was more expensive than I thought it would be but we love having a gas line to our bbq so we don't have to worry about running out of propain while cooking dinner.

Description of Work: Project: install two level central Air in a 1938 house, two separate controllers, 2 separate generators, completely two separate systems. Challenges: old house, connections, not a lot of space to put two condensers outside, need for quite units as the neighbors are very close. We obtained 4 bids with 4 different approaches on how and what to install. We decided to go with Rose City because they offered us a great solution for all of the challenges at a decent price. The were easy to work with, punctual and on budget. They may have run into some problems along the way such as where to put the air handler for the second floor unit. They installed it in the attic with very little room to work in. The job was neat and clean. We had a small issue when we turned the AC back on this summer, but they responded immediately sending out a technician. The problem was resolved and all is working fine. We are very satisfied with the service of this company and are very content with our AC units. Yea!
