All with no drama. Two guys knew what they were doing. They communicated with each other very well with no hitches. They always were looking for ways to "what do you want or need". Never any problem what-so-ever. Great deal - very happy with them.

Rueben and Martin showed up on time to move my mother-in-laws furniture and personal property to a different assisted living facility. They were attentive and careful with the move. It was a small job, but it was on a Sunday. We called them on Friday. They gave us a couple of options on date and time and we were able to get the move done in less than 48 hours after the initial phone call. They moved my mother-in-laws furniture and personal property from one assisted living facility to another in the Portland area. We didn't give them very much notice at all, but they made the move in a very professional manner. They were thoughtful of the facility in which they were working and very thoughtful of the other residences. My wife and I highly recommend Portland Movers Ready and will be using them again.

Contact was immediate after purchasing voucher. Easy to schedule for dates needed. Service was on time and courteous.

They were not pleasant or respectful. Kept taking phone calls and rushed out after an hour. We paid for two but I didn't want to have them around any longer since they had been so rude and incompetent. We asked that they take their shoes off and the got mad. Within a few minutes they had their shoes back on said they didn;t care. They couldn't figure out how to move things into other rooms and I had to advise them how to do it and at one point I picked up the furniture and did it myself. I told them when they were moving the treadmill to be careful because there is grease and oil that can leak if it's tilted. The guy in charge told m eI was wrong. We are going to have to replace the carpet in that room because of large grease spots they left. Once they left I noticed that my retirement watch was missing. These two guys were horrible.

They were great, they really hustled. They got more done than I expected.

There was an initial mix-up of the time they said they would arrive but after I called the office, they were at my house within half an hour! I would definitely use them again. They were polite and professional and did an excellent job.

Portland Movers Ready was a miraculous find for us. We waited a bit too long to schedule help clearing the 1st floor of our home for the installation of new floors. We had been focused on finding the right flooring contractor, the right flooring projects, and a means of storing all of our furniture and appliance items. When we were 6 days away from the project, we realized that we have aged enough since moving into our house that we are not physically equipped to do ALL of our own moving, even if it is just up the stairs of our own home or out to the back yard storage space. It was a Monday when we realized we would need help on the following Sunday before the installers came on Monday. We called a number of movers with good reviews on Angie's List, but most were booked, or did not work on Sunday. We only found one who was available and willing to come on Sunday, but the late afternoon was out of the question -- they needed to come at 8am and needed to charge for mileage to and from our home and a premium for the Sunday time slot. They quoted us $225 for two men for two hours. Then we called Portland Movers Ready. They answered immediately, and professionally. They not only could arrange availability, they let US choose what two hour time slot would be best for us on Sunday -- even when we chose 4pm to 6pm! They allowed us to use the coupon for $100 for two men for two hours. They called to let us know they were on the way, and arrived on time. They were friendly, but did not waste time. They were careful with the pictures on the wall and the chandeliers, and they measured all the access points to choose the best path through the house. They moved heavy, awkward items (like a curved couch) and did not damage anything. They were smart in how they stored things, using our space to best efficiency. They finished before the two hours was up, so they also helped us load a piano on a dolly. We were completely satisfied with the work, so much so that we asked them back last week when the project was over to put everything back in place. We had the same great experience then with two other workers. Again they fit us in on a Sunday, even though we scheduled late. Again they were friendly, professional, efficient and prompt. We feel very luck to have found them. And both visits, plus tips, was the same cost as the other moving company would have charged us for a single visit. How great is that?!

They were wonderful and the service was great. I would absolutely use them again.

This is the second time I have purchased their coupon, and they have shown that they consistently provide a valuable service beginning with prompt communication. They were able to accommodate me even though I needed the work done immediately after the purchase. The movers themselves were very thorough and careful.

I entered a request for 2 hours moving services at the advertised special rate of $100, and got an immediate response. The dates for the move were set based on our convenience, which was a Sunday. After discussion with the movers, my son-in-law set the request for 4 hours. The movers arrived at the scheduled time and worked quickly and efficiently without stopping at all until everything was done. They moved from the 4th floor of an old apartment in NW Portland, with a small elevator and not a lot of space to maneuver. Nothing at all was damaged in transit to their new house in SE Portland. Great job!

It went awesome. They had two guys come out who were great, and I'm looking to use them again in the future.

It couldn't have gone better. They scheduled us very promptly. The movers were very polite and were very careful with our possessions. It was a huge help to us and a valuable service for the price.

They did a really good job. They were prompt, worked efficiently and quickly.

It turned out great. It was wonderful. I think it was reasonable. They were quick. There were no issues. It was one hour more than our big deal. It was really easy to schedule and they provided what they said they would.

They were on time, professional, and courteous throughout the move. The moved quickly, but carefully and were experts in packing and maneuvering. I would definitely use them again in the future.

2 men came to my house. Someone from the company called to say they would be late, but they arrived later than I was told they would. They worked fast but were not careful with my furniture. They dropped an oak file cabinet, which damaged the front edge. When I mentioned this to them and told them I wouldn't be needing them any longer, they said there was a 2-hour minimum, so I agreed to let them help me for another hour, which I regret. I asked them to please be very careful with my leather couch but they were not careful at all, and they scuffed it up in several places while they were moving it. Now there are light areas where the dye has been scraped off the surface of the leather. When it came time to pay them, they said it would cost extra to pay with a check instead of cash. I hired them because the company got good reviews on Angie's List, but I did not have a good experience and would not recommend them.

Two employees arrived, they packed our 2600 sq ft house into that truck in four hours. They did not bump or scuff one wall, they were extremely careful, and courteous. They did a great job and we would easily ask them to help us again.

Had another company there ready to move us (with them being a hour late as it was) then decided that they didn't want to move us as one of the workers had a bad back from moving others over the weekend.... after another hour of them calling and trying to find someone to take his place, they said they couldn't find anyone and didn't feel comfortable doing it with just 3 people.... so I got on the phone and started making calls, and got Portland Movers Ready, and they were there in less then a hour and had us all packed up and loaded and drove to our new place, unpacked and all done in a total of 3 hours. We were so impressed on how professional they all were and how they all worked together as a team and were just totally awesome.. We will definitely have them move us again when the time comes. They were the best I had ever seen. Thank You Portland Movers Ready!!!

We hired two movers (Anthony and another guy whose name I didn't get) to move from our 3 bedroom condo to a 4 bedroom house in just under four hours. They guys loaded a 26-foot truck full and then unloaded at our new place. This was not an easy feat-two sets of stairs at the condo and a set of stairs at the new place. These guys were fast, careful, and pleasant and didn't leave until everything was in place. They even put our dining room table back together for us Well worth the money and we were more than happy to tip them. Would definitely hire them again.

Two men cleared out 2 Public storage lockers for us. It almost filled a 26ft U Haul truck with boxes and furniture plus misc. items We were to meet them at the storage place at 8:00 AM. They were 1not there when I arrived, but they did call me at 8:10 to let me know they were running approximately 1/2 hour late, and showed up at 8:20.. They were apologetic and professional. They neatly packed and secured all of the items. They were strong, steady, and fast. They followed my truck to the house, unloaded and put everything where I requested within the two hour time frame. I was amazed, because it was a lot of work, They were consistently friendly and cooperative. They provided extra rope and paddings as, I came up short. The only problem area was that the office only communicated through Angie's List mail. It would have been better if they had called to set things up, as the written communication was vague. I kept waiting for them to call, and finally checked Angie's mail and saw the response. The assumption that I was to provide the truck. After I made the U Haul reservations the evening before the move, I received a confirmation mail, and then they asked if I needed a truck. I never knew it was an option. I ended up feeling unsure if they were going to be there on the morning of the appointment, due to the lack of verbal communication. I will take responsibility, however, because, I could have made the call, not fully understanding how Angie's List works yet.. Of course I would use this company again. It was a good bargain with the coupon. Everything was put into place without a scratch, and the movers were great..

I was not able to set a solid scheduled time. They said they would show up at some point that day. Would not recommend them.

They arrived on time. They did not tell us that they wanted to be paid in cash. Even though everything was labeled they did not put it in the correct area. When asked to move things into the house and not just put in the garage they had an attitude. When we asked them to move things that they put in the wrong area they didn't. Several things were broken. If you want someone to just move things then they are for you. If you want someone to think with you, to plan the move well and be prepared then I would suggest a different company.

I had a list and was organized when they got there, everything went smoothly.
