They did a great job and finished fast.

They were on time -- accommodated my schedule -- and got done quickly and efficiently. They take credit cards -- but I paid in cash. Even helped me move a couple of pieces of furniture in our house to make room for the new table. The guys were friendly, professional and clean. They were very careful with the furniture, doors and doorways.

They were about 15-20 late, but did not charge me for the time so that is ok. They did a great job of unloading and taking boxes to the correct rooms - quick and zero damage to walls, etc. They were very flexible when I asked them to load up my housesitter's items and even gave me some tips on hooking up my washer and dryer. I will say that one of the gentlemen worked much harder than the other. One was more of a chatter and one did 75% of the work. I would hire them again.

This was the second time I used these movers. They were fast,, efficient and very careful with my belongings. It is best to try and get the first appointment of the day as they stay til the job is done. They know how to properly load a truck so as to utilize the space appropriately. I would use this company again.

The workers agreed to disassemble the items, but broke one of the cabinets that they took apart. When we spoke to the company to discuss this, they refused to take any responsibility for this happening. The company said that it was our fault for asking them to take the cabinets down. We said that the workers should have told us if they were unable to compete the task asked of them. They were difficult to deal with on the phone and refused to offer any reimbursement for the cabinets that their worker broke.

I contacted them to help us move our items from our moving container in Portland to Vancouver. We had specific time needs due to the facility that was holding our container. I had requested a start time of 9 am and Portland Movers responded saying that 8 am would be better for them. We couldn't access the container at 8 am, so we had to find someone else to help us. A little disappointed that they could not accommodate our time. Otherwise, Portland Movers had responded to our messages quickly and their prices were good.

The company is READY as its name implies to take care of whatever is needed in the two hour time limit. We had gotten bids from Angie's list for much higher prices and longer minimum times--we will contact Portland Movers Ready the next time we need anything that they advertise they can do! We tried to get people to come over a two week period. Other companies were booked two weeks out. I was shocked and awed when I was told that they could have a pickup for us TODAY -- same day as my contact with them. The two guys were personable, efficient, professional and helpful! We couldn't be happier!!! It was a quick, efficient and excellent job!

Well, the night before the move we felt like we had more to move than we previously thought and called Jeff and asked if we could have 3 guys to help us move, instead of the two we originally had requested. He said no problem. Moving day: they came on time, ready to work with supplies as Jeff had stated. They introduced themselves and asked if we had an idea of how we wanted things moved and wanted to discuss how best to approach the loading of the truck. They made helpful suggestions, worked like mad, treated my items like it was their own stuff, loaded the truck like experts and didn't waste any space in the truck, and never stopped working. When we got to our other house to unpack, we asked if they could stay longer. We realized we had first originally reserved them for, we decided we would love their help taking the items to the rooms where they belonged, instead of them just unloading everything into the garage, as we had planned, mainly to save money. They said they would be happy to stay and help. They went to see what rooms were where and told me that if I just directed them as they came in with the boxes and stuff, it would go much faster. And it was. These guys were such hard workers, super nice and deserved every bit of the tip we gave them when the job was done. They never complained either, and it was a hot day. We would never move again without using them and we have already referred them out several times.

Pretty good. Extremely fast. Somethings were not packed well according to the movers that unloaded us.

Two movers arrived promptly. They wasted no time moving the heavy furnitures down our winding stairs, carefully loaded and padded them onto their own truck, drive to the destination then studiously carying them up the steep and narrow staircase. I have worked with about 4 different moving companies in the past and these are the best 2 movers I have ever hired. They are trustworthy and hardworking professionals. I will not hire anyone else but them to move my stuffs in the future.

The guys showed up on time, put the boxes and furniture in the places where I asked them to put them, had a little extra time left over and helped me put together my dinette set. They were great!

Very responsive, on time, professional, careful handling big furniture like beds, tables, sofa, credenza, etc Work quickly, don't waste time, accommodating (tried multiple times to get my sofa in my new place). Recommend their moving service, reasonable prices. Have used them twice and would use again.

The two men that came to move us were on time and moved very quickly but safely. They were very reasonably priced and I will use them again when we move.

Excellent!!! I waited to write this review until the container was delivered and I could see if any damage occurred. We have not had one broken or scratched item. I could not be happier. I highly recommend them to anyone and wish they were here in our new city.

Very prompt, courteous, professional and fast.

It was a very good experience. My only regret is that I didn't insist that they move my bedroom last and move it in first -- the move was so traumatic for my poor cats.

BEST GUYS EVER! I used this company when I first moved in Portland two years ago. They unloaded my Budget Truck full of boxes and heavy furniture into a small Victorian. When it came time to move out - I contracted the same company, different men but exactly the same quality, care and effectiveness. Heavy stuff, plenty of stairs and no fuss, no muss. The truck is packed amazingly well and all things are tied down - good stuff wrapped to keep from damage and my prize piece of furniture mostly glass (from my Mom) was treated especially well. Use these guys and tip them well! Thanks!

They were great to work with! I have taken so long to review because I was looking for the card where I wrote the young mens names that helped (unfortunately I still cant find it but will update with their names when I find-they were very helpful and kind/understanding to my circumstances) First they were great all around, I bought the big deal promo, and due to health reasons had to reschedule a few times, they were very accommodating and easily made this work, the movers called when they were caught in traffic to advise they were going to be a few minutes late (less than 10 minutes,) which is very refreshing, and appreciated This was only a partial move, mostly items from upstairs being moved downstairs for garage sale, they packed a few boxes, and disassembled my bed in record time, I wasn't prepared for them to be so so efficient and work so quickly, so I hadn't planned for them to do anymore than upstairs, but they were eager to keep working, offering suggestions of how they could help downstairs too! they were very friendly, professional, and careful I will gladly hire them again!

Excellent! They came the next day! Talk about fast service! They were very careful in hauling down around our curved staircase. We were very happy with them and the professional service they provided. Would definitely use them again.
