Description of Work: Two very polite and capable men loaded a truck we had rented with furniture and boxes (took about 2 hours) and then met us after lunch to unload and place it, along with other pieces which had been in storage in the basement. Nothing was scratched or harmed, they were extremely careful, and shrink wrapped all dressers, etc. before moving them. We will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Portland Movers Ready was able to help us move our heavy items with less than one day notice. They arrived exactly when they said they would and jumped in immediately. They were organized and took some time to assess the job. They were very forthright as to how they could best help us get the most bang for our buck. We had asked for them for the two hour Angie's List deal, but discovered we needed them for an additional hour. They stayed willingly, got us all unloaded, handled our furniture with care and worked with some very tight spaces with limited room for large furniture. Throughout the process they were friendly, helpful

Description of Work: I received great communication from the start when it looked like they would not make it at the time. When Ruben and Martin got here they started right away and stayed on task to the end of the job. Would recommend them and use them again. The response to the job was quick considering it was a last minute request. Thank you guys!

Description of Work: Portland Movers exactly satisfied my need to move. They handled loads of boxes and other stuff as I moved into a new rental location. They were vital to reducing the stress level. In particular they were flexible and for a fair price helped to do more than first agreed upon by staying later and coordinating effort with other jobs.
