I'm a strong advocate for supporting locally owned and operated businesses. I've lived in a few different homes in Portland over the last 20 years and I have used Pacific Crest Plumbing for almost a decade. I don't intend to ever call anyone else. That's how much I like and trust them. Ten years ago I needed some minor repairs done to a recently purchased first home. They were on time, done quickly, super friendly, steered me in the right direction, didn't sell me on anything other than what was needed, and left the area where they were working cleaner then when they arrived. From that point, Pacific Crest is the only call I make. A few years later, my hot water tank kicked the bucket... they had my old one out and a new one in place almost immediately. Most recently, I had them replace all the plumbing in my house, including a main line in from the street. They were in and out in a bit over a day. They had to dig up the yard for the new main line... when they were done, it was like they were never there. They've always been on time, they have always texted me the day of with an exact ETA, they've always been friendly, and the price was always been exactly what was quoted. I can't say enough good things.

I love this company - and Nick is my hero! The shower arm in my master bath broke off inside the bronze cap, leaving most of the threads inside. In an effort to save money, I tried for three days to repair it myself, with no luck. YouTube videos had lots of advice, none of which worked for me. So, before I completely destroyed everything, I decided I'd better call a professional. I've used Pacific Crest Plumbing in the past, and have always been happy with their work and their customer service, so I contacted them through Angie's List. I didn't call because it was after hours. To my surprise, Nick emailed me back that same night, gave me a ballpark figure for repair, and I told him I'd call the next day to set an appointment. Nick was here the following morning, as promised. I explained what I'd tried, and he set right to work with the repair. He was able to get to the problem (most of which I had created with my failed attempts!) by taking out only a small amount of drywall. Within 90 minutes, he was finished and on his way. Before he left, he had not only made the repair, but had reinstalled my shower head and cleaned up the work area. I really just can't say enough nice things about this company! When I'm ready for some bathroom remodeling, PCP will definitely have my business.

I have hired Pacific Crest three times over the last few years. Once for a kitchen drain snaking, then to have my shower faucets replaced, and most recently to replace a garbage disposal. Each time they have been quick to respond and the work as been great. Nick is professional and informative. Anna always surprises me with how nice and accommodating she is, even taking phone calls well after business hours when I never expected anyone to answer and was only calling to get their hours from a machine. I highly recommend them!

Of the three vendors we contacted, Nick and Anna were the quickest responders of any tradespersons we’ve ever hired for any kind of like work ever. Within an hour of my call Nick was on our property and I had a well-developed bid within 4 hours. Work was planned on site the next day and Nick himself completed the job in one more work day. He replanted, arranged for traffic control and did all necessary regulatory paperwork. Nick is brilliant, informative and effective.

Pacific Crest Plumbing did a really nice job for us. Our water heater replacement went smoothly. The up front information Nick provided was very helpful to me. The work he did was top notch. Great service as always. Easy to schedule and arrival was on-time. NIck had brought 2 cartridges, just in case, and they were both needed. When the shower was still dripping slightly the next day, he came back with a 3rd cartridge that seemed to solve the problem and had also talked to Delta to get their thoughts & had ideas about what else could cause the problem. Nick is very personable, careful, and knowledgeable, and he cleaned up after he was done. I've hired him before, and I'd do it again. I was surprised at how expensive the cartridge replacement was, but overall Nick spent a couple of hours at the house + travel time + getting-the-cartridges time + the cost of the cartridge, so maybe I'm just out of touch with what plumbing costs these days.

Nick was awesome. He did a very clean removal and solid upgrade on the drain for our kitchen sink. Price was within quoted amount, which was a bit more than I expected, but Nick was recommended highly by two close friends and I wanted this work done right. Pacific Crest Plumbing delivered friendly service, great communication and quality work, worth every penny.

Six years ago I used Pacific Crest Plumbing for a major leak/pipe issue. So when we saw signs of a potential leak in our master bathroom (water damage on wall, rising floor tiles) they were first on our minds. The response was prompt & professional. At the home visit it turned out to not be a leak but due to some habits and our shower set up. But they explained this to us in the most humane and professional manner possible. We weren't treated as ignorant for thinking we had a leak, on the contrary we were given a lot of (free) advice in a terrific, pro-active manner. They are truly terrific to work with.

This is the second time that we have used Nick and Pacific Crest Plumbing. He was top notch the first time around and was just as professional the second. Nick was great to work with. He was responsive, took time to educate me on what he would be doing and why. He advised as opposed to trying to sell me services that I did not need. The work he has done for us has always been high quality.

I called one day and Nick came the next day. He cleared the drain and replaced a couple parts in my toilet. Nick makes sure that the area is all cleaned up before he leaves and answers any questions. I have have used him in the past and definitely will use him again for any plumbing issues. MB

So happy that Nick from Pacific Crest had availability to fix a major plumbing issue with some original cast iron pipes in our 1924 bungalow. It was the best communication I've ever had with/from a contractor. Explained exactly what he was doing and why. Texted me updates frequently & showed up when he said he was going to show up. The project was completed even faster than we expected and at the low end of Nick's estimate. He also didn't try to oversell us on more work than we needed, which we really appreciated. We will definitely text Nick again next time we need any plumbing work.

Fantastic!!! Arrived within 60 minutes, did the repair. Works perfectly. Work area spotless when completed. A real professional. We have used them in the past and would certainly use again.

Pacific Crest Plumbing exceeded my expectations by far. I read reviews on both Angie's List and Yelp so I was expecting A rated work, however, Nick was better then that. I had a few bids and felt Pacific Crest was best as far as cost & experience. He was professional, punctual, kept me updated all along. He gave me a very fair estimate with both a high and low cost to expect depending on what "could" happen when getting in there given the pipes are from the 1950's. I really appreciated that because there were no surprises. I knew going in the best/worst case scenario. He got the job done quickly, neatly, efficiently and it wound up being the lowest cost he estimated which was very much appreciated. It is beyond refreshing to have an honest, professional, efficient plumber who has obvious years of experience. I am happy to finally have a plumber that I want to call back for future jobs. I've dealt with several plumbing companies over the years from terrible to alright but Pacific Crest stands out above all. They are the best and I can easily see why they have earned an A rating and awards from Angie's List. If I could add a whole bunch of plus signs onto the "A rating" I would. Nick was great! He responded right away to my inquiry. We needed a valve changed under the kitchen sink to allow for installation of a new dishwasher. Nick quickly made a new set of shut-off valves and fixed us up super quick. Beyond the great plumbing work he was so nice to my 6 year old son who was very excited to see the work being done and asked a million questions. This repair was actually in my in-laws house. They are not great with English and he took the time to explain the work to my father in law. Nick is very professional and patient. We are going to have Nick come back and fix some more things soon. I 100% recommend him, its really nice to have a plumber you can trust!!!

I had a very good experience beginning to end with the folks at Pacific Crest Plumbing. We had talked ahead of time about the new faucet and Nick sent me a picture so that I could OK it. Nick was punctual, professional, efficient and friendly. I now have hot running water in the kitchen and a new faucet that meets my needs much better than the older one.

My wife called Pacific Crest early in the morning & they were able to come out the same day and re-pipe my kitchen sink. Their work is very neat & tidy. During their visit my wife was also able to get a bid on some remodel work we are planning to do after the holidays. Will definitely use them again.

I am adding this review to what I previously posted, which was an A+ rating. Two months after the work was completed I called because I thought there was a leak. Nick was able to come out the same day and inspected. He was able to pin it down to the overflow from the bathtub. What a relief! I really appreciated his sense of responsibility and timely response. I would never hesitate to hire this company--totally professional!
