When I bought my house nearly twenty years ago, I promised myself that I would do everything that I could to take good care of it. My home is a 1941 bungalow, and all the plumbing needed to be updated. Thankfully, I found Pacific Crest Plumbing on Angie’s list, and for the past eighteen years Nick, the owner, has faithfully and skillfully responded to all of my SOS plumbing calls. He has navigated the tricky basement stairs with a bulky water heater in tow and installed it with a special alarm that will ring if there is a malfunction. He has put in new water saving toilets, replaced dripping shower fixtures, unclogged sinks and drains and made sure that my entire plumbing infrastructure runs smoothly and safely. In addition, Nick brings a lot of wonderful personal qualities to the trade. He is trustworthy and respectful. He has a great sense of humor. He can be counted on. Back in the day, I would refer to rare individuals, like Nick, as being “the salt of the earth.” He certainly embodies these precious qualities.

Nick evaluated the issue and suggested the most cost-effective solution. While Nick was present I mentioned my main sewer line may need replaced. Nick suggested contacting a company that does video inspections of a main sewer line. Following the inspection which identified root intrusion Nick viewed the video and mentioned a client who used an enzyme to clear out his main sewer line. I researched this solution and ended up using Green Gobbler Foaming Root Killer which should result in a $7000 savings on a sewer line replacement. I highly recommend Nick for any plumbing issue. We asked for an estimate and Pacific Crest Plumbing Owner, Nick Deleganes, was here the next day. He was thorough in his explanation and answered our many questions about the water line replacement, related concrete work and connection to an outdoor faucet that would be done. As we had four estimates, we inquired about the different approaches and costs. Nick was upfront and honest about his price and process, again, answering any questions that we had. Although we originally planned to do the job immediately, due to a delay with locating utilities and a change in our personal plans, the job was delayed a few days. Nick worked with our needs and was on the job as soon as we agreed to a new date. Nick and his crew were prompt, courteous, and were efficient with their time. The plumbing job and the related concrete work were completed professionally and we were pleased with the final outcome.

I met Nick after another local outfit fixed the main shut off valve in my basement. The fix was needed after discovering that my water bill had unexpectedly jumped from previous usage and in the steps to determine if there was a leak inside or outside of the house. Because the main shut off was faulty that was the first needed step. The first plumber did indeed replace the main shut off inside the house for 550$. Being a first time homeowner and not being a plumber by trade I assumed that the cost was industry standard. After the shut off was repaired the plumber confirmed that the meter was still spinning and that the mystery leak was outside, meaning that I would need a new water main at a cost of 5300$ of which they would deduct the 550$ we paid for the shut off to be replaced. The price tag was way beyond what we could financially swallow with out a second opinion. Thats how I met Nick. He came out the same day to access and bid the water main replacement. 2775$ was the bid he gave and even apologized that it wasn’t less given the short distance to the house but that there are minimums on equipment which I completely understood. Nick was very honest and upfront about what needed to be done. I asked about a “re-plumb” of the entire house which was being very strongly pitched by the other two outfits that I took bids from. Nick asked, “why, is something broken or not working well?” In fact we don’t have any notable water or plumbing needs or problems. That exchange demonstrated that Nick wasn’t at my house to get my money, he was there to do an honest job and help me sort out the problem at hand. Nick did an incredible job with prep to protect the inside of my house and the clean up was as if he’d never been there. On parting Nick even said I could text him plumbing pictures/questions in the future and he’d help triage the situation for me. That kind of service comes from values that we should all aspire too. Nick is a now a permanent in my contacts list as Nick the plumber and now if someone asks if I know a plumber I can enthusiastically say, “yeah, I know a guy.”

Customer for life. Best customer service I’ve had. Very upfront about possible costs depending on what he might find and even gave me pointers to see if I could fix it on my own first to save me money before coming out. Great communication. If you value honesty and want to know upfront you can trust what you’re told Pacific Crest Plumbing is the only way to go.

Nick did amazing work for us. He repiped our house and couldn't have been more professional and thorough. The work was done perfectly with as little disruption to our house as possible. Since then he's been back to help us with a couple other small projects and he's incredibly responsive when we reach out to him. A trustworthy guy!

I'd had several positive experiences with Pacific Crest for small plumbing repair jobs. I had not interacted with Nick, the owner, before. He came out and gave an estimate on our small project. We scheduled the job and then received a message from him stating that he'd no longer be working for people with Black Lives Matter signs on their yards, and would this be a problem. We have no yard signs, but we canceled the job. It's totally inappropriate and a terrible business practice to ask a customer about their politics before doing work for them.

Had a great experience with Nick from Pacific Crest Plumbing. Water pipes in walls for the shower had sprung a bad leak. Nick was able to quickly come in, accurately diagnose the problem and fix it same day. Quick, clean and efficient. It has been a few weeks since the repair and no leaks have come back. Fixed on first try!

Nick is an excellent plumber. My late husband was a perfectionist, and he admired Nick's work and his creative problem-solving. Nick replace a frost-free water facet that would not turn off. I thought the house siding might need removing, but Nick fixed it from the inside of the house, and it works perfectly. A few years ago, the water main from the street to the house started leaking inside the house and below the shutoff valve. I discovered this on a Friday at 6:00 PM. Nick's wife walked me through how to turn the water off at the street. Saturday morning Nick and his wife, Anna, showed up, and Nick developed a workaround solution so I could have water until he replaced the pipe that runs from the street to the house. Nick put a sink in the garage with hot and cold running water when previous plumbers said it wasn't possible, and it has worked perfectly for over 10-years now. AND, he cleans up everything before leaving.

Water was leaking through the ceiling of our family room. We called Nick at Pacific Crest Plumbing. It wasn’t a crisis, so we did some troubleshooting over the weekend. He came out first thing Monday morning and began investigating. He was on time for his appointment. In fact, he sent us a text message earlier in the morning to let us know he would be on time. He found the source of the leak and fixed it that day. Since the leak was in between the first and second floors, some of the ceiling drywall had to be removed in order to get to and repair the leak. Nick was careful to cover the furniture and carpet before he began and made sure everything was cleaned up to our satisfaction after the repair. He also checked to make sure there was no mold and dry rot in the affected area. Nick has been our plumber for 25 years. He is a great guy and his work is always excellent. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

I have used Pacific Crest for multiple plumbing needs over the years. When I first bought my house I needed a sink faucet installed and they came out and did it. They have replaced a hot water heater, and fixed clogged sinks and toilets for me too. They are so fast, well priced, and nice to work with. Plus I know they will treat me right, I have had them out before and Nick will go over what is wrong and if I can fix it with something simple, he tells me. I have old pipes so sometimes it's a clog that just wont get cut but onetime I thought it was that, I tried chemicals, I tried a plunger, nothing. He came out told me what to do with the chemicals and then it worked! They are all so great!

Nick is fantastic. Great response time and great work. Ran new PEX and drain for a washer a few years ago and came back recently at my request to move the cold water supply line. He arrived at the appointed time, didn't charge for the re-work, and fixed the lock on my front door on his way out. What more can you ask for? Getting ready to buy a different house and will be calling Nick for any plumbing work that will, I'm sure, be needed. Can't recommend Pacific Crest/Nick any more highly!

We needed to replace our water main immediately before the holidays. Nick was excellent. Communication was prompt and clear. Work was done as bid and without issue. There was a minor delay due to equipment needed but Nick clearly communicated the issue and made sure it would not impact us. We will happily use again for future plumbing needs.

I have used Pacific Crest Plumbing in the past to install a new water line from the meter to my house. Nick did such a great job that I used him again to install a new water line from the meter to my rental house. I also had a leaking kitchen sink problem that he took care of promptly. I highly recommend his work and will definitely use him again.

Terrific company to work with! Pacific Crest Plumbing replaced my old and failing water heater with a new improved unit. They were professional, timely, and efficient. The job was done as scheduled and above my expectations. They added an insulating foam block under the heater to increase efficiency of the unit and also installed better earth quake straps. A job well done and highly recommended.

Nick is a great plumber and a pleasure to do business with. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward. It was nice to find someone so honest in there estimates and recommendations. We had a lot of questions about what needed done immediately and what could wait. Nick talked us through it all and didn't try to nickle and dime us. We are extremely happy with the professionalism & work of Nick. We were impressed that when Nick & my husband had a misunderstanding about when Nick would arrive, Nick dropped what he was doing & came right to the house because that was the only day we had for installation of a new water heater. Also, it was a difficult install because of tight quarters & Nick did an excellent job, having to remove & replace piping to get the water heater in place. His quote included a water catch pan & water alarm, but because our water heater is in the utility room with a drain in the floor, Nick informed my husband that the catch pan & alarm weren't necessary & he deducted them from the bill. Very professional & we will definitely use & recommend him in the future. A+

Nick did a great job, and also gave some recommendations for how the exhaust vent should be updated to be safer. He was incredibly responsive, and flexible in dealing with other craziness happening at my house the day of our appointment. I'd absolutely recommend!

During the estimate appointment, Nick was friendly, knowledgeable, took the time to explain how the job would be done and answered all the questions on my list. He was always on-time and worked hard all day. At the end of the day, Nick would give an update on what had been done for the day and what he would be working on the next day until the job was completed. Three months ago my father, who thru fifty years of marriage and home ownership had dealt with repairs himself or been the one to do the hiring if a contractor was needed, was diagnosed with dementia. He had to be abruptly placed into a care facility. My mother was emotional and overwhelmed to say the least. Walking through the house, I could see how his health had indeed been slipping: home repairs were started but not finished, areas of upkeep and home maintenance he always stayed on top of in the past had been left to fall into disarray. One of these unfinished repairs was the laundry room washtub. My mother said it had a backed up drain. I could see the piping beneath it was in pieces and that my father had started but never finished repairing it. I found Pacific Crest Plumbing and was immediately impressed. The woman I spoke to on the phone said the owner Nick liked to speak with the customers himself. He would be in touch with me about my project and scheduling. Sure enough, Nick called me back within a few minutes. He could not have been nicer and more understanding of the situation. He asked that I take a few clear pictures, then send them to him so he could provide an estimate over the phone rather than having to charge me to drive out to the house and do a diagnosis. After looking through the pictures, Nick told me exactly what he would recommend doing to repair the tub. He provided written estimates that included both snaking the drain, and not snaking the drain, since I told him I was unsure if my father had done that part of the project yet already. He was able to get us schedule the very next day. I cannot say enough nice things about Nick or Pacific Crest Plumbing.

Great, I would definitely hire Nick again, he is a fantastic plumber and knows his craft. I've hired him in the past to install a new exterior hose bib and he excelled at that project as well. He is very reasonably priced, responsive, punctual, professional and does high quality work. What more can you ask.
