Description of Work: He cleaned my chimney and put a cap on. In all the years I have had my chimney cleaned no one has ever treated me so well. When I inquired about a cap he had one on hand and was able to install it immediately. I will use this company again. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He did pitch a yearly service and some repairs that could be done, but I did not feel pressured at all.

Description of Work: They came on time and did an excellent job cleaning the dryer vent. When they looked at my fireplace, they told me that it did not need sweeping and that I would get a $95 refund, as I did not need use that service. I am very happy with the job they did and their honesty in telling me the fireplace did not need sweeping, however I have not yet received a refund, 3 months after they were here... So my rating is tainted based on that. They were good, but the lack of responsiveness on the refund is unacceptable (and yes I have called, but have not heard back from them).

Description of Work: He did a through inspection and found there was nothing wrong with the fireplace system other than it needed a cleaning; which he did quickly and efficiently. At my request, he installed screen covers over the top of the chimney. I had been concerned about birds nesting on the chimney. He thougt it was a good idea and also stated over time rain could cause problems with the lining. The cost was surprisingly reasonable.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for $97 for Professional Chimney Sweep. The person who did the sweeping was responsible. He told me I wouldn’t have to worry about doing it again. It was worth it to have him come tell us that.

Description of Work: The service was performed at a rental unit that I own. I was not present at the inspection. I wrote to the individual who did the inspection, requesting a report on what he found. I have had no response - so unfortunately, I have no invoice for my tax records, nor do I know what this individual found when he inspected and cleaned the chimney in my rental...I am quite disappointed in this behavior. Description of Work: I got an Angie's List coupon offer for chimney cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. They came within the four hour time frame, went to work, and finished without any problems. Both men took their shoes off when they entered my home and were very professional. My only problem is the four hour timeframe. They had only 8am to noon and noon to four. The only way it worked for me was to have them come on Saturday and ask for them to come at the end of the four hour frame. I had to wait for over two weeks to be able to fit into that timeframe. Other than that, everything else was perfect and would have them come again.

Description of Work: They did a terrific job and made recommendations that were honest and made sense. Also took time to review my furnace and make some safety suggestions. We will be calling again! : )
