Master Sweep

Description of Work: Came out to my 3 rental units in Brightwood and Welches, Oregon.... viewed the chimneys, wood stoves, masonry and suggested needed repairs. None of the chimneys were cleaned. I was told that they would work up estimates and get back to me the following week. When I did not hear back from them I called and I called and I called and I left messages and more messages. Never heard back..... I finally contacted another vendor from Angie's list who promptly came out and cleaned the chimneys.

Description of Work: inspected and cleaned chimney. Arrived on time, and completed work quickly. Needed to add new cap, and was clear about reasons for it and added cost.

Description of Work: They replaced a fireplace insert and fixed the caps on the chimney. Everything went smoothly.

Description of Work: Master Sweep accommodated my need for a weekend visit, gave me an estimate to completely rebuild the exterior portion of my chimney, install a new damper, and attend to some minor repairs. Their bid was almost identical to another chimney service who were only going to repair (not replace/rebuild) the chimney, so I hired Master Sweep on the spot. We have to wait for better weather for the work to be done.

Description of Work: Master Sweep provided follow up service call to 'cement' a crack inside chimney/flue and to install an extension to the clothes dryer vent pipe. Both services/repairs were completed by Jason and his assistant---highly recommend Master Sweep and would use them again should a need arise.

Description of Work: They cleaned and conducted a safety check on a wood stove. It went well. They also provided pertinent information on the status of woodstoves in the community I live in.
