"So the concrete foundation was poured but it was missing but it was missing all of our one anchor. There are walls that are too high and too low. They didn't use vibrator on the concrete so there's several places where the concrete didn't settle in and there are exposed rebar. So we hired another engineer to come up with fixes for the problem and the engineer said that the project should take 140 yards of concrete but the contractor ordered 189 yards so there's a lot of wasted concrete."

"I am not used to quick responses, quick bids and quick scheduling with popular Angieslist contractors, but Dan came out within hours of my call and gave me an estimate on painting the exterior of our house. Within a few weeks, our house was painted. Prior to painting, I inadvertently called him while he was on vacation and he was gracious and patient enough to call me back to answer my questions about the job. That says a lot right there. There was some slight miscommunication over painting my deck, but it's nothing that wouldn't cause me from recommending Muir Painting. Price-wise, Muir Painting was the lowest, in some cases, by far. I had other estimates literally twice as much. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect review is the fact I wish his crew was a little more careful, they snapped a large plant in half on one side of the house (which never got mentioned) and left tape and paper in different areas. They also smudged an upper window with paint and forgot to paint corner trim on the back. Dan himself came and cleaned up the smudge and painted the trim, which we appreciated. Overall, I would certainly recommend Muir Painting, and Dan. The final product looks great, and the fact he was prompt, treated me with respect and acted like he wanted my business worked in his favor. It was a pleasure doing business with them."

Jaime did some special problem solving when we needed one area moss-proofed at ground level and when we needed them to scrape and seal three layers of old paint, as well as when we needed to match some 17 year old paint. He is creative and thoughtful. I can’t recommend him and his crew highly enough. I have worked multiple painters before and never had this kind of experience!"

"This crew was terrific! Lots of attention to detail, which I love. At every step, Hever checked with us of exact color, changes in procedure, days w/wo rain, extra stuff we wanted done. They did a beautiful job re-framing the rotted window frames, and the whole thing was very professionally executed. The got right on it, lots of hustle, and their pricing was good. Although I did not have conversation with most of the crew, Hever and his son were very pleasant, polite, and super easy to deal with. Later, if I have more painting to do, I would call them back in a New York minute. You won't go wrong with these guys!"

"Carlos and his crew did a great job, they did it quickly, professionally, and for a fair price. They painted the entire exterior of the two story house, the doors, even the porch. They put everything back that they had taken off and took about four and a half days to do it all. I had the house reroofed before being repainted and unfortunately that company took longer than scheduled and bumped into Carlos' timeframe but we all worked together to sort it out. Carlos even helped me carry some heavy things into the house and was just a nice guy all around."
