TruGreen Lawn Care - 5325

I think they do a good job. I wish they were more reliable on their responsiveness. We have dogs in the yard and they have been good about working with them.

Our trees were dying and since TruGreen Company took over their care, they seem to be better than what they were. They use deep root fertilizer for our trees. The people who come out are professional. They do what they say they are going to do. They always come up to our front door and inform us if they are planning to do something additional or new in our yard. They drop us a bill by mail and I also have the option of paying online. So it’s convenient. The service person has always been very nice. I would continue to use TruGreen Company in the future.

It went very well. They let us know if there is a problem and they also let us know if they can’t come out. They are very good about communicating with us. They let us know what the condition is, what we need to do and what they are doing. Last year we had a problem with one of the applications that they did and they have been doing their best to correct that.

They've been good, very professional.

At first, they were prompt and it seemed that it would go well. Then, they didn't fully treat the moss and when I called, they promised twice someone would come out to finish the treatment and they never did. The called me weeks later to follow up, after I had decided to cancel the service (it was supposed to be an ongoing quarterly service). I think it would have gone pretty well if they had shown up and completed the whole treatment. So I think it was a communication problem that we somehow slipped through the cracks.

They service the Clark County area in addition; I am not sure exactly what their service area is. Each time that they came I paid 65 dollars and they were with us for eight or nine months. They were fast, professional and did what they said. The quality of my lawn greatly improved and I was really happy with their service. We were on a less expensive plan but I felt like that was the fair price for what we were getting. I would absolutely use them in future.

They are very punctual. They come out every month to spray our lawn and home for pests. They also do aeration and overseeding. Our lawn looks fantastic. There are no weeds, and I couldn’t be happier.

Over the course of a few months, Scott's showed up to our house for about 5 visits. Every single time they came, I had issues, but in the end it was the dishonesty for which I cancelled service. Three times, they showed up with broken equipment. Every time I had to call about unsatisfactory service. The one time I was there for the service, the service was good except for the tennis ball size chunk the operator took out of my tree and the fact that the guy applied sunny grass seed in the full shade area of my lawn. Needless to say, it did not grow. Typically they were responsive about resolving the issue, but following up gets old. I finally cancelled, when I called about an incomplete application. The bill said they applied 25lbs of lime. I have a very small yard--my house sits on a 50 x 75 plot with a full length drive way and separate garage. 25lbs of anything is noticeable, yet I couldn't detect any overspray of the granules on my sidewalk, the curb, anywhere on my backyard patio or my driveway except for one patch the size of a basketball. When I stated that fact, they said they swept it back into the lawn. Which is amazing cuz none of the other dirt, sticks or other debris on the sidewalk got swept. Then they insisted that lime is so small you can't see it. Total lie and called them on it. I said if that's true have the guy come back and put some on the sidewalk, if i can see it I'll pay you double, but if i can see it you give me the service free for the rest of the year. Obviously they didn't accept the offer. My impression: Scott's has good prices but they are counting on the fact that most customers will not check up or pay attention to the quality of the work done.

They do a good job. I am pleased with the results.

Excellent-within two treatments the lawn has improved dramatically!

I'm unhappy with the reports they are leaving each time. From the first visit they said everything looked great-what happened to those mites? I'm not sure what I'm getting.

From the first contact over the phone when I was initially asking for estimates a couple of years ago until the visit from the quality inspector that came last week, they have been very pleasant. Even though I didn't go with them until recently they were always pleasant and helpful and never pushy. Once they treat, they leave a little bag on the door with their report. They also put a lawn stake in, supposedly this is to tell us they've been there and to warn people not to walk on the grass for an hour or so. Realistically, I think it is more for advertising. I don't mind so much, except that it would be nice if they set up a way to reuse the stakes.

I was happy. Someone came out, left notes about the weeds, recommendations. They did want to treat for everything else too (moss, etc) which I had to be clear I was not interested in, and also that I did not care if the lawn grew greener, just that the weeds didn't. After clarifying, I have had two sprays. They have called the day before as I had requested, done the job, and not pushed for any additional services to be added.

They have done great work with us in the past, but we lost contact with them for a month and a half period. We called them after that time, and they said they had lost us in their scheduling. It was disappointing to have them forget about us. I will say that when they are here, they do good work, so I hope it was just an isolated problem when they lost contact.

They didn't follow instructions. I asked them to call a day before they were to come and not to come on Thursdays. They flunked both of those.

A representative continually contacted our business to do our lawn work. We signed a contract in January for weed treatment followed by a total lawn cleanup two weeks later. They came in March and sprayed and no one ever called or came to do yard clean up. The spray didn't work and nothing died! I phoned to find out what was going on and to this day it is still not resolved. I am being billed $90 for chemical treatment that did not work and I have left 3 messages in the last week. I'm surprised that a company that eagerly wanted our business now doesn't really care for it! I've asked today for the company to remove the $90 charge and I'll find another company to do the work.

I set up a yearly plan with them. They arrive on time to do the work. I would recommend them. They are very knowledgeable. They are very accommodating people. They have different people for different things.

Our lawn has never looked this good! They have done a beautiful job. Before it used to be filled with weeds, etc, and now it's beautiful!

They came out within a week and did a lime treatment and a fertilization. Also a analysis of our lawn. With the discount it seemed like a good price. I have seen an improvement in the lawn.

They promised, as their website says, 100% guaranteed satisfaction. I paid for all recommended treatments. When I started to question what they were telling me,they claimed that my problems were "wild grasses".That would've been fine except they were saying that their "broadleaf" weed killer was killing GRASS. Grass is not a broadleaf anything.My lawns were slowly dying.They switched up "service techs",because I said that I disagreed & they said their service tech wasn't feeling well.Never saw that gentleman again.Then, trying to get them to stand up to their guarantee,they put me off for months.When I finally got tired of the whole thing,paid them off,they refused to come out and take care of the lawn anymore.Even their corporate headquarters wouldn't help,even though they said that the franchise in Sherwood was wrong. So,do you stand up and fight? If yes,don't pay the bill off. Or you will be sitting where I am now,trying to fix the damages they've done in a 3yr old lawn. TRUE STORY.

Overall the yards improved with treatment. Still a seasonal problem with mushrooms in the backyard, but they said there isn't any treatment they (or anyone)can do for that. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but don't have the time or money to investigate further. They have never charged me extra for anything, nor have solicited for any extra services, which I appreciate.

My lawn looks much better after the application, especially the first 2 times. But afterwards, the lawn just look the same. I am not sure how efficient it is to apply fertilizer every 6 weeks. I think I will take care of it from now on. But the first couple of visits were phenomenal.

I was disappointed with the results. Customer service was always good. Our questions and concerns were well-addressed. The final result was disappointing. For $165 total (three treatments of $55 each over the course of 3.5 months), I expected a green lawn. I didn't get that.

I'm on their regular fertilization plan, and I've been pretty happy with their work so far. Once, I tried switching to the organic fertilizers, and it burnt my lawn, so I switched back to the regular program.

I contacted Scott's as they were in town and I thought they could do the job within a relatively short time. After arranging for them to do the aeration they said that it would be about two weeks before they could do the job (but since I was in town, perhaps they might be able to get it in sooner). Unfortunately, after 3 weeks I hadn't heard from them, other than a prepayment bill. I called and asked when the work was scheduled and was told it would be the following week - a full month after my original call. I will say that after telling them the story, they were able to get the work done the next day. Perhaps my request was small and this is probably a very busy time for them. I would suggest getting a firm date from them at the beginning.
