Larry was great. From the initial contact where he spent a good 15 minutes with me going through various questions to the time he left, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd purchased a fill kit at Sears, which they did not have at merchandise pickup, but Larry was able to provide the kit for an additional cost to the install price. Note: Sears later made good on the error. Larry was great at paying close attention to the dishwasher's alignment with the cabinets and making sure all was level, plus making sure the connections were done correctly. Turns out my garbage disposal connection wasn't right, but he was able to correct it. He gave me good tips on how to keep the dishwasher running well and gave me a complete run-through of all the settings and what they meant, providing recommendations for my normal use. Larry recommended a dishwasher tray for under the dishwasher, so any leaks flow out to the floor in front of the dishwasher instead of soaking into the sub-floor. It turns out that this was a good idea, since there was no floor covering under the dishwasher. Fortunately, my floor was still in good condition. Now it will stay that way. It wasn't easy to find one of the dishwasher trays - Standard carries them, and Larry even stopped by to pick one up for me. That's what I call service!

My refridgerator was not dispensing water (ice maker/water dispenser) and it was freezing the goods on my refridgerator side. After contacting Platinum Installation (PI) he gave me a 'best guess' over the phone the the two seemingly seperate issues were related, which made sense after he explained that there is a resivour for water on the refridgerator side to allow dispensing of cold water. He explained how his company will charge for a service call/on-site troubleshooting, which made sense to me, since i wouldn't be obligated to use his services, even after he told me what was wrong. I turned off the fridge side for the night and the water started to dispense correctly. I contacted him to see when he could come over and was able to do it that same afternoon and take my payment over the phone (a friend was able to let him in). It has worked fine ever since.

The tech arrived on time, he was extremely polite and explained every step very carefully. He was extremely fair thru the entire process and worked very hard performing an excellent job. I am very satisfied by his work and by his overall performance. He did also perform some minor cabinet modification (the oven would not fit exactly) and did haul the old appliances away. The price was very fair and definitively competitive (much less than any large company). I will keep this company in mind for any appliance work in the future. I wish all the contractors would be like him!

Steve cleaned up after himself, provided expeditious service, didn't waste much of our time with small talk and was successful in correcting the problem.

I called Platinum Installation on Sunday evening hoping to leave a message to schedule the service call for the following week. I was pleasantly surprised when Larry promptly answered the phone and set up an appointment for Tuesday afternoon between 2-4pm. He also said he would call if he had any cancellations so he could come earlier. He arrived by 2:15pm and thoroughly inspected the dryer. He was able to find the problem and located the part nearby. He left to pick up the part and returned shortly. The dryer is fixed, runs like new, and I highly recommend Platinum Installation to anyone needing service. I will definitely call them again in the future.

I could not find where my washing machine was leaking. I called Platinum Installation to see if someone could come out and look at it. I called after 6 pm and expected to leave a message and receive a call back the next day. To my surprise, the phone was answered and an appointment was scheduled for the very next day. I had a window of time scheduled and the technician called to let me know he would not be arriving until the later half of the time window. I found this very helpful. When he arrived, it took him only about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem - holes in my washer seal. He looked up the part, we agreed on a price for parts and labor, and we made an appointment for him to install the part for the next day, which was a Saturday. I was happy he was going to be able to install on Saturday and not have to wait until Monday. Later that afternoon, I received another call. The technician had a schedule change and he would be able to get the part and install it on the same day, if that was convenient for me. Consequently, he came back later in the afternoon and installed the part. The washer has worked great since. In addition to the quality work, I appreciated the technician's friendly and professional manner.

Larry did a fantastic job removing our old appliances prior to our kitchen remodel and installing our new appliances. He came right on time and finished his work quickly. He was knowledgeable about our appliances. He relocated an existing gas line and installed a new water line for our refrigerator. It is hard to find a contractor that is on time, completes his jobs quickly, does good work and charges a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Platinum Installation to anyone looking for appliance installation or repair.

Larry was Polite, professional and cleaned up after himself. He had to leave and get some parts, but came back shortly and finished the job. I found his price's very reasonable and the whole experience positive. I would hire Plantinum Installation again, GREAT experience.

They were very quick, the service man was knowledgable, and left the work site clean. I will use them future and recommend them to anyone.
